I consider it inappropriate to expect payment for a product before it is received.

"This company is TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They take your money and send no item in return. I ordered 3 items from them on December 27th, 2011. I received an e-mail on December 31st saying that only one of my items had been shipped, but the other two were out of stock. They didn't offer me a credit for the two items, they didn't mention the possibility of exchanging for something else, and they didn't give a date to expect my items to be in stock. It's been over a month now, and the item that supposedly did ship has not arrived yet.
I spoke with their customer service rep over their LiveChat on several different occasions. (Each time the reps name was 'Sharon'. Suspicious? I think so.) The first time I was stupid enough to accept the $25 credit they offered me. After ordering 3 more items and receiving an e-mail saying they were out of stock. Today I spoke with SHARON again and didn't spare 'her' my displeasure with the customer service I've experienced. I demanded a refund which they guaranteed to give me within two business days, which I had been promised by 'ShAron' the day before. I told SHARON that I wouldn't accept that and expected to have my refund by tomorrow. I was promised to have my money by tomorrow.
This has been THE WORST shopping experience I've ever had. I've ordered from China several times, but I've never had trouble like this. I doubt I'll get my refund by tomorrow like I was promised so I opened up a dispute through Paypal. I attempted to have my LiveChat conversations e-mailed to me, but that feature does not work. I took screenshots of my conversation with ShAron, so I have proof of their promise to refund me by tomorrow. If they do not make good on their promise to refund me I WILL escalate the dispute to a claim.
UPDATE: They actually made good on their promise and refunded my money just a few hours after I posted this review. They also sent me an e-mail asking that I up my rating to 4 or 5 stars as an exchange, and even offered me a $5 gift card to do it! I absolutely refuse to do so. I can't believe they're trying to bribe me. I will make sure that neither I nor anyone I know will ever buy anything from them again. I want nothing else to do with their poor excuse for a company. However, I will continue to share my experience with others in the hope that my story may be able to help people think twice before buying from DD. People deserve to know what they could be getting themselves into."

"Bought a mini retractable mouse from Dino direct. My impression of the store is good, as it was dispatched immediately. The delay in receiving was purely because of the Greek Post, and it was somehow expected.
The quality of the mouse was also good, although it hasn't passed the "endurance in time" test. That remains to be seen.
The overall impression is good, and customer support is above average."

"I wouldn't order anything from this site again. I put in an order for a keyboard cover for my laptop on November 15th and I still have not received it. I waited till the end of December to file a claim with them and they were prompt and reasonable in answering.They said that they sent it again for me so I was thankful for their customer service, but a month has past since then and I still have not received my order.
As an update, I have received my order now and it is in good shape. DD is great in terms of price and customer service, just be prepared to wait a bit with the shipping. It seems like others have had better experiences with them in this area so it is possible that my experience was in the minority."
"I placed an order with Dino Direct for R420.59 and chose to not take the free postage option but paid and additional R210.66 for courier delivery in 5 days from order on 19 Dec 2011.
This was ignored and the free (air mail) postage was used so the package only arrived almost a month later and they are offering me a $20 gift voucher instead of refunding me my $25 (R210.66) courier fee paid, never mind the face that the package was late and I had incured additional costs in any event (present for my wife).
I certainly do not want to support them with a voucher nor use their services, all I want is my money back and where I realise it's a small amount it's a matter of principle and once I started searching I literally found hundreds of complaints against them scattered all over.
I am now starting legal action against them

I can understand Chinese New Year but no company cannot respond to a client for more than two weeks due to a public holiday. If I acted in that way I would be severely reprimanded
My lawyer then contacted you on 31 January (You ignored this and made no attempt to reply to him or to me)
I then followed up on 09 February via another e mail (Yet again you ignore my correspondence)
Yet you claim to be an honest company looking for a mutually beneficial and fair conclusion where you ignore your customers and refuse to refund them for services paid for but not delivered until someone takes legal action against you, only then do you respond and even phone from China.
I also have proof of contradicting and false statements made by Dino Direct and I stand by my previous claims that you are dishonest and downright criminal in how you conduct your business. I am one person who took this further but the Internet has many similar complaints.
I will do everything in my power to ensure everyone is aware of your dishonest business practice
