"Horrible Horrible Horrible seller. Over two weeks and my order has yet to ship. I ended up canceling one item from the order (it had been in order paid over a week)and they made a new order of it. I was given a giftcard instead of a refund for the wig I had canceled and promised my items would ship within three days. I was told today after 14 days that my items are yet again delayed for the spring festival. I ordered 2+ weeks before chinese new years in order to avoid this. I am peeved. If my items are not shipped by 1/25 I will have to make a paypal claim.

giftcards are usless when they do not ship the product.

Original order number was 686E0298-DD and was made on 01/07/2012. One 01/17/2012 I was told that my items would ship by 01/20/2012, I was promised.

I canceled ONE item from my order and they made my original order into a new order 77P501319-DD. I was given a gift card instead of a refund for the canceled order and a giftcard for them being so delayed.

I made another order on 1/17/2012 49345803-DD and on 1/18/2012 8564F525-DD using paypal and my giftcards. I was told by Sharon of CS that these items would also ship on 1/20/2012. She promised and GUARANTEED this.

It is now 1/20/2012. My items are now "order approved". They have not shipped. I was told there was yet another delay and that they would be shipped within 3-7 business days due to Spring Festival. WHAT? Way to hold my money for over a month before even thinking about sending my products.

I will wait til 1/25 and hope my items ship out, but really this is ridiculous. I don't want a refund.. I just want my items.

None of my items were custom. They were just wigs and a pack of socks.

"I would like to share two experiences with you. One is with Kobo, the company who sell ebooks. I bought one but never got it. So I email them my request ie please send me my book. I told them I could not find it on my computer. Which made them email me a question that I will never forget. "Where on your computer do you not find your book". I won't tell you what I answered. After 1 month, I still don't have my book which is paid for. The reason for my story is my experience with Dino. When I emailed them my problem, I got an immediate reply with a follow up the next day. I solved my problem and it took 2 days. Now that is customer service. I recommend DinoDirect. I will certainly continue to purchase from them."

"Warning:
Please skip all the 5 stars reviews for Dinodirect. They offer free giftcards for anyone who give them full star reviews. So don't take them too serious!

My review:
my first order was on 09/26/2011. They shipped the wrong item and after a lot of e-mails and livechats they resent another item. Again the wrong item! About three weeks ago I got a refund.

my second order was on 10/01/2011 and was how it was ment to be (all the right items).

3rd on 10/04/2011. Few days after the payment, the order was cancelled by Dino because of a system error. They couldn't deliver for the price I paid, resulting in a refund.

4th on 10/08/2011. Same as the 3rd order, got another discount. Apparently again a too big discount. Few days after ordering, Dino claims a system error again, resulting in a refund.

5th on 10/13/2011. One of the items in the order was a learningcode remote control. Yes, i received a remote control. But no way it was a code learning version. I reported this with video's and pictures and finally after a week Dino understands the problem and offered me a gift card.

6th on 10/30/2011. Since I got a giftcard for the 5th order, I reordered some self learning remotes. After receiving the package it was not complete and I got an invoice for a Russian delivery address. After mentioning this on the live chat they offered me to resent the order. The order never arrived. A week ago, Dino finally decided to re-re-ship the order. Hopefully this will arrive! (but still waiting)

And now my 7th order on 01/11/2012 which contains a Novo 8 tablet. Even after all the problems on my previous orders, I decided to get myself a tablet (since it was for a good price on a daily deal). One day after the order, I decided to contact Dino and ask if it was possible to switch the color from white to black. Unfortunately the answer was: The tablet is out of stock, we can't deliver. I knew this was a lie, because the live stock counter on their website was 24 hours after ordering still on 3 items in stock. (I checked because I was thinking to buy a second tablet).

To make the story short. One week later, after using their e-mail support and live chat function every day, I got more knowledge. I'm not the only customer who has this issue with the tablet delivery. It's not because of the "out-of-stock", but it was a marketing stunt. They offered a too good to be true price and couldn't deliver for this price. The sad story is that they all (except one live chat customer) lie to their customers by claiming it's an out of stock issue. Every time you try to contact them, you have to explain the whole story over and over again. They try to avoid to answer the questions and act like an robot by asking the same questions that has nothing to do with the problem.

At the moment my money got refunded, however I didn't asked for this. I ordered the tablet, and would like to see a tablet delivered. I think this is never gonna happen.

So, what do you think:
1) I got bad luck, the other customers get their products.
2) The order handling by Dino is a big mess and the stock on the website is not up to date
3) Dino is a big scam, when it looks to good to be true, it is too good to be true.

I know they lost at least one customer.

"I will never deal with DinoDirect again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt even when I saw terrible scam reports on this site But I warn you: STAY AWAY. The cheap prices relate directly to the quality of service. They do not ship your package on time, they do not communicate with you, and they leave items out of the package!

I ordered some parts for my camcorder. They had the best price on the most IMPORTANT part I was looking for. a 34mm UV filter lens. While I was there, I figured I would order a few more items from their expansive list of items. I ordered a 34mm to 58mm Set up ring so I could use a nice looking 58mm hood and 58mm lens.

I placed my order on December 17th and payment was processed right away. There was no notice on the progress of my order only useless E-mails telling me that I was receiving Dinopoints while I waited. I finally got fed up and logged in on January 12th to send a trouble ticket asking what was going on. I got no reply from anyone at Dinodirect only an E-mail on Jan 13th that my order had been partially shipped. The e-mail reads that everything BUT my UV lenses have been shipped!! Ok, well I guess they will ship me those at a later date. (hopefully)

I received the partial shipment today (Jan 19th) and inside I get a rubber fish (what?!), a dinodirect valentine's card, my lens hood and my lens cap. The VERY IMPORTANT set up ring is MISSING! it's not in the package, it's not even on the shipping invoice that it's part of this box.

As of this post I am pretty much screwed out of $21.89 CAD because I don't have any bloody UV lenses.

update: My setup ring arrive a few days later. It was shipped in a second box.


BUYER BEWARE! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

UPDATE: FEB 02/2012 - They responded to this review with some sunny options of replacement products or refund. I sent them a list of comparable products from their site that I would like shipped. They did NOT reply this E-mail and I have not seen any action.

I placed a complaint on the BBB and dinodirect replied with a lazy lie that I had opened a dispute on paypal and they could not send my money until it was resolved.

"WORLD WIDE FREE SHIPPING! I can't even begin to express how wonderful that is! There have been so many times I decided NOT to buy online, because of the shipping charges, but this site offers 'almost' everything free of shipping. :) And not mention there are so many affordable items! I had help at every corner via their instant messaging. Very helpful. I read about this place being a scam but I thought I would give it a go. I am so glad I did as my wedding dress that I picked was amazing and stunning.
Everything about this dress went over my expectations from colour, design and measurements.
Delivery was prompt an every arrived nearly a month before I was expecting.

"I used to buy different things from Dino Direct and was completely satisfied with what I received.
Until I place an other order to get a nice and not expensive cell phone.
I realize just after paying the product when I reviewed the phone characteristics than the sizes did not really fit the standard size for a cell phone (5.5inch height / 4.25inch large)

I contact the customer services by mail few minutes after to try to cancel the order and ask to switch with something else.

They replied to me very quickly and explain to me the order was already shipped!!! I was surprise because after few search in there web site it is mentioned it take them 2/3 days to check if the payment is approved and after it takes 4 days to shipped the product.

By the way I send again an other mail to try to change my phone for something else but they confirmed to me it was already shipped. Because of this event I am less confident in this company.

So if you want to order something from them, be sure to read all the characteristics of the product because you won’t be able to claim anything for a full refund. You will have to support the cost to return the product.

It is not fair because I used to deal with them and always trusted in them. Next time I will consider probably to deal with an other competitor with more flexible rules
