"What was earlier estimated to be a $1000 + AC compressor job, turned into a $400 job instead. I took my wife's car to a "reasonable" local mechanic. (I put reasonable in quotes because they had multiple reviews on the net that gave them 5 stars out of 5.) When I got there the place was a dump. The mechanic said it would be a $1000-$1200 job with parts and labor. I immediately went home and surfed the big name chains for the compressor. They all wanted $500 or more for the compressor. I came upon Discount AC parts and bought the kit AND compressor for $365! I was not expecting the service I recieved. The NEW kit and compressor came within a few days! We found a mechanic who did the work and the end total was $420!!! I have recommended Discount AC to friends and family! Thanks again!"

I would like to let you know of my complete satisfaction from my recent purchase.
When the A/C compressor went out I was referred to DiscountACParts by members of my Camaro forum. There were several factors that made me decide to purchase from DiscountACParts. The parts needed for the repair were all included in a kit. I mean this was a complete kit including the compressor, accumulator/drier, orifice tube, o-rings, gaskets, and even the oil! The parts were an exact replacement and look exactly like factory parts. When I bought the parts as a kit, DiscountACParts discounted the purchase price by $45.00. How can you beat that? Well, shipping was free!
I am also impressed by the customer service provided. In the event of a product failure, a replacement will be shipped out even before the damaged unit is returned, reducing down time for my car.
DiscountACParts also has a video learning center on their web site that helped me diagnose my problem and complete the repair successfully.
