"I ordered a DVD through disneyshopping.com - a few days later its listing changed to 'out of stock.' I assumed my order would still be honored because, as stated in the e-mail I received, 'If an item becomes unavailable, you will be notified by email within 24 hours.' However, 9 days later, I checked the status and noticed it hadn't shipped yet.
I e-mailed their CS and made an inquiry about the order. 24 hours later, I was notified that the item was indeed out of stock, and I would never get it. When I replied and asked why I was not informed of this like their e-mail said I would be, I never received any reply at all. Very poor CS, and it seems they need to keep better track of their inventory.
To add insult to injury, I now get spammed 1 or more(!) times a day with disneyshopping.com e-mail. Even though I unsubscribed to their e-mails nearly 2 weeks ago, I'm STILL getting them. I finally had to just tell GMail to spam them, unfortunately.
At least my credit card was never charged."

It took me estalking the tracking system to find out one week later they needed more info from me before they would ship my items. *Please note this is not my 1st order, so wtf? "I got my stuff but they continue to send me emails (spam) I don't want (seems like every day!). They didn't provide me a clear way to unsubscribe, and when I finally found out how to "unsubscribe", they still send me spam after I've supposedly unsubscribed. I had to block them at the IP level of my mail server. Very unethical."

Sometimes, when I order multiple products, something is missing(this has happened twice in about 15 orders ranging from 8-20 items), and I call and the issue is resolved promptly everytime. They either send me what I say is missing, or will refund me if not available anymore."
"Let me start by saying that we've been happy with everything we've bought from the Disney Store. However, that's about the only good thing I have to say.
Shipping is my biggest pet peeve with these people. I've apparently always had at least one item on each of my orders that is disqualified for express shipping, so I've always had to use standard shipping. Standard shipping is up to 9 business days. Horribly slow. The worst part is that I've NEVER had any order show up before 9 days. The last order I placed on 7/24/06 (in the morning) hasn't even shown up yet but is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. 10 business days by my count. My orders usually seem to ship out about 4 days after I make the order, they get to the main shipping depot in Ohio about 1 day later, and then sit there for about 3 days before being shipped to my local USPS and then sit there for at least a day. I don't understand...3 days in one place is far too long...especially since this place is only an hour away from my home! And don't get me started on the cost of shipping for this lousy service.
What really boggles my mind is that Disney Online is owned by The Childrens' Place. I placed a standard shipping order of double the value with them a day before my last Disney order. I paid half the price of shipping as I did with Disney and I received the order by the end of the week...5 days. What gives?
DH and I have decided it's not worth the aggravation and extra time/expense to continue shopping with Disney Online. We will go to the store at the mall and do the rest of our shopping at Downtown Disney when we head to Disney World for vacation."
"I've had a couple of issues over the years but have been very patient with Disney.com up until this point. For instance, they sent me the wrong waffle iron at Christmas and said I could return it but they would not refund shipping costs or pay for return shipping. I let that go and decided it was cheaper just to keep the iron and give it as a gift to a family member.
There have also been a FEW times where I've ordered products that were apparently "not in stock", yet it would take them over a week to inform me that they were no longer available. There have also been times that they didn't send me all of my items and it would take a month to get everything I had ordered.
The issue that has sent me over the edge, though, is when I qualified for something called the "Best Guest" program. It's a frequent buyer program. Because of a gliche in their computer system (that said I returned a computer which I can prove is still sitting in my kids bedroom), they would not grant me "Best Guest" status. I spent nearly $2,000 in less than a year with this company! VERY poor customer service. The customer service rep had an extremely snotty attitude and then gave me an email address to write and check my status in two weeks. Wrote email two weeks later and found there is no such email address! I have called several times with no resolve (for 9 months now!). I have been a loyal customer for years, not just a casual shopper. Unwarranted poor customer service. Walt is rolling in his grave!!!"
" I order quite often from disney shopping.com. Most of the time there is no problem at all. On the off chance that there was I called the 800 customer service number (24 hours a day) and the problem has always been taken care of right away.
On my last order, some limited edition Disney Easter pins, the items were a pre order with a 3 week projected delivery date. On April 12th I received an email that my order had been shipped, to my surprise when I tracked the package I found that Disney had shipped the order UPS Next Day Air. I received the pins by noon the next day.
This was a surprise because I had only paid for United States Post Office ground service.
Two thumbs up to Disney for getting thses pins delivered before Easter at no extra charge.
I also used an online coupon at check out and had no problem. You just need to follow the directions provided. "
"I placed an order for Christmas.I ordered 10 things online.I recieved a package 7-10 days or so later.When I opened the box,I recieved 2 items I did not order.I called CS right away.I was on hold for 1 hour.When I did get to speak to someone,they said they would ship my correct order right out to me 2nd day at no charge.I thought great,nice CS.I recieved the 2nd package within the 2 days like they said.Now at this point it is 3 days before Christmas.When I opend the package,I only recieve 5 items that I did order and 4 things I didnt order.They sent me 9 items not 10 and not even 1/2 of what I ordered.I was so mad ,these were Christmas presents for young kids.I had to go out and buy other things to replace these.They sent me a return label about 8 days later.I sent the incorrect items back on 1/2/06.I had to contact them about my refund.I did get my refund at the end of Feb 2006.I would never order from them again.They sent me 2 wrong orders and didnt refund my money for almost 2 months,once they recieved my package back.I had to email and call every week and got emails back saying we do not know when the return arrives.Please allow 2-4 weeks for your refund to post.Well it took 7 weeks and 5 emails and phone calls for them to refund me.BE AWARE-not good business...."

"I placed an order with the Disney store online last week. It took me about two hours to place the order because of an error message ('I'm sorry but we are unable to process your request at this time" If you have never shopped at their website, FYI: you get this error message practically every time you try to place an order with them because their website is busy.) Because of this, it did not accept a coupon that expired minutes before I was finally able to get my order processed. I thought this was unacceptable, so I e-mailed customer service & explained the problem with the website and asked for the discount. They sent me a generic blurb e-mail reponse that did not answer my question. So, I replied back letting them know and this was their response: "I am sorry for the in convince but the discount you were trying to apply to your order. Was not applied at the time of the order. So we can not do a price adjustments on the order you all ready place. Again i am sorry for the in convince. We look forward to hearing from you in the future." I replied to this and said this response was completely unacceptable and asked for it to be forwarded to a supervisor or manager for response. That was 11/22 and it is now 11/26. I have not received a response. If they were not the only company that provides the licensed merchandise I wish to purchase, I would NEVER do business with them again. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I've had less than mediocre customer service from the Disney store online, and if I continue doing business with them, it probably won't be the last..."
"Disney sucks! I ordered gifts for my nieces TWO-WEEKS in advance to make sure it was delivered in time. Days after I received confirmation I got a phone call telling me they needed to confirm the delivery address. I confirmed. I called back days later, and they said the gifts never went out because I didn't confirm my address. They said they would release it, but that it would take 4 days, because FedEx doesn't deliver on weekends. I deal with FedEx daily, and they do deliver on weekends. I told Disney this, but Disney said, "Well, they don't deliver on weekends for us." I cancelled my order. THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE!!! And they ruined my nieces' birthdays!!"
"Don't order products from this store. My package was lost and never be delivered. They don't even want to provide CSR support after the shipping. That's what I got from one of their CSR: We are not going to reponse for package that has been shipped from our warehouse. I paid the $8 shipping fee for $30 value products, and they shipped the package by Airborne, which deliver by sucks USPS. Airborne told me I need to contact Disneystore, but Disneystore reply me : No! We are no long in charge of this package!. That's crazy. I wanna talk to their superviouer, and they told me the superviusor is busy and they will call me back. So I am waiting now for this crazy, non-professional CSR."
