"Ordered D/E Razor and miscellaneous shaving supplies on Wednesday evening 6/24. Lee's shipped them via Priority Mail, for free, and they were in my mailbox on Monday, 6/29. Outstanding! I emailed Lee's with a question prior to ordering. Lee answered it personally, and it had to be 11:30pm in his time zone. What a guy!"

"Order placed for a Kata MC-60 Camera Case on 3/29/05. Even though the website showed it as an in-stock item, I didn't receive the shipment in a timely manner. When I didn't receive a shipment notice by email, I called them. The guy was very polite, and said I should have the item in about a week. On 4/15/05 I got an email saying that the item had shipped and I should receive it in about 1.5 weeks. Odd considering it was an "in-stock" item that it took a month to get it. When I did get it, it appeared to be something of a "factory second", and was missing some of the accessories. Instead of dealing with the retailer, I complained directly to the manufacturer, Kata, and they shipped me a new version of the bag from their headquarters in Israel. High marks for Kata, not for Video Direct."

"I've been buying from amazon.com for at least 5 years, and have never had a problem that wasn't resolved to my satisfaction. Once they sent two books, different titles but same exact content. They accepted return and refunded all costs for the other book. Until the advent of "Amazon Prime", a fee-based program that provides free 2-day shipping, I always used their free shipping on $25+ orders, and received quick delivery. However, with their new fee-based program, their free delivery takes upwards of a week before shipment. Once shipped, still get order within a couple of days, just have to wait for shipment. Kind of a pain, but oh well. The last order I used one-day shipping, ordered on 9/20, and had the item on 9/21, excellent, and not excessive shipping charge."

"Having bought both computers and digital cameras and equipment from them, I have practically no complaints. Once I bought a lens that was supposed to include a lens hood. When the lens didn't arrive with the hood, they had me return it and shipped another. When that also didn't include the hood, I called their customer service, explained the situation, and offered a solution of crediting my account by $40, which they did without hesitation. No complaints."

"I've done a lot of business with Adorama.com since 3/05, and not once have they let me down. Prompt shipment of in-stock items using UPS 3-day. Excellent website interface. I ordered the wrong item on-line once, picked-up the phone and called their customer service a few minutes later. They promptly retrieved my order and made the correction. Person wasn't overly friendly, but he was efficient and professional, not rude at all. I've never been contacted by them about an order unless an item happened to be out of stock, and then only by e-mail. The items (it happened twice) were shipped as soon as they came in stock, never an inordinate length of time. No complaints from me about this retailer. Top marks!"
