Ive been told I am an excellent decorator, but I know that even the best decorator has to have a source of excellent products to decorate with. Well, the secrets out for all to hear, this is one of the places that I use that is my very favorite place to shop.
I shop from them online. They contacted me twice regarding items back ordered and once when items were no longer in stock. I was disappointed, but they were kind enough to call and not leave me just hanging like alot of places do. When they called they offered suggestions like they knew their merchandise. Who does that at most places you shop.
Shipping is priced well, never too high and its always quicker arriving that I expect it to be. Products are safely packed, so I dont ever worry about glass arriving in pieces.

"First of all, I think Distinctive Decor is the only place that I can order pieces for our flatware set without having to order 600 from the factory. So, I give them credit for making our flatware available for order in reasonable quantities.
I ordered some forks as a gift, eleven days before the date. I was told two days later, by the owner of the company, that they were out of stock because someone had ordered their last set "minutes prior" to my order, and the expected delivery was not until after the date I wanted them. I asked what options we had to make sure that I would get the set in time. I suggested several options that were all dismissed. Finally, I was told that if the forks arrived by the day before my date, they would overnight them to me.
Well, the forks arrived at their facility the day before my date and were shipped the day before my date. Unfortunately, they chose to use UPS ground instead of overnighting them to me. So, they arrived four days late.
I expressed my displeasure with their shipping choice via an email to the owner using the same email address as earlier. I received no response whatsoever, and our next correspondence was my invitation to complete this survey.
I think Distinctive Decor should do the following:
1. Identify items out of stock and not let stocks get so low that they run out.
2. If the item ordered is out of stock, do not wait two days to address the issue with the customer.
3. Try to come up with some reasonable options to accommodate customers with rush orders (Eleven days is a rush? Did they need to mine the silver?).
4. If you tell a customer you will do something, then do it.
5. If you violate #4 and the customer expresses displeasure with it, then make it right.
6. If you violate #5, do not ask the customer to complete a survey.
I may order from these guys again, but only because I cannot find the pattern elsewhere.
