"I bought a distributor on July 25, and it was working fine till Nov 12 2006. It just stopped working. I've trying to reach support, and returns departments, but I only get voicemails. I Wrote back on November 14, and never got a response, waited for a couple of weeks, call back and nothing. So I had to buy another Distributor. It's April 23, 2007 and still no answer."
"I send them a question via their online submission form:
Hi, Last time I tried to order an Eibach Alignment kit from you, you never got one in stock and ended up cancelling my order. Can you confirm that you have part number 5.67420K IN STOCK and ready to ship?
Response the same day:
"Yes, we do have them in inventory."
After thinking about it for a couple days, I replied on Tuesday:
"I'll give you one more shot, then."
"Sounds good."
Today, 10:57 am:
"The order number is 34512. Any idea when it will ship out?"
Response Today, 11:10 am:
"Your order is currently on hold pending a $35 price increase. Pricing has gone up since your original order. Please let us know what you would like to do. I can cancel your order if you would like."
Today, 12:26 pm:
"Since my original order?? I just ordered it yesterday!! Your price went up $35 since yesterday??
The price is still showing the same on your web site!

Not surprisingly, no response yet.
I am SO done with these people. It's only $10 more at Tire Rack"
"Order got shipped from warehouse to corporate headquaters for unknown reason, which is not normal procedure. Order then had to be reshipped to my address, causing a long delay, which Drivewire wasn't sympathetic to. When order was reshipped, they didn't include all the parts and had to have the warehouse ship out the remaining...another delay! 4 calls to customer service...not impressed! By the way, still haven't received my merchandise yet! "
"My one and only experience using these guys is that their prices were about average and shipping was fast but when it came to resolving a problem with a wrong part they shipped they were absolutely horrible.
I had a pretty straight forward case of one of the parts in their shipment not matching what I ordered. It wasn't an equivalent part or anything like that, it was clearly the wrong thing. This should have been quickly resolved with a simple "sorry for the inconvenience, a return label and the correct part are on their way". Instead I was treated a run-a-round of phone calls, emails, requests that I reorder at a higher price which would then be "corrected in the system later" (I declined to do this for obvious reasons) and, ultimately, never acknowledging my return. In the end, I took care of it through my credit card company which took all of 5 minutes.
My conclusion is that there is no point in doing business with these guys. It isn't hard to find similar pricing and shipping from companies that have infinitely better post sale customer service."
"Worst experience in my life. Wrong parts first. Called and mislead to another order 12629. Called back immediately to cancel. Agreed but did nothing. Emailed multiple times to cancel for nothing. I intended to dispute charge with my credit card company. However, I accepted delivery, but just to find out they sent used and damaged parts. Filed damage claim with UPS and emailed DriveWire. No response from DriveWire. Damaged parts were delivered UPS center on 8/28. I filed dispute-charge in September. Almost three months passed and got first response (call) from DriveWire telling me they sent the second order to collection agancy, while the first order is still sitting in my garage waiting for RMA. A total waste of time and money!"
"RMA #5709463
Order two parts, an A/C accumulator and evaporator. The accumulator was faulty (evaporator was fine), I got RMA # 5709463 from a guy named Jessie. After shipping the part, a refund was never issued (it's been several months now). I spoke with three customer service reps- Allison, Danny and some other guy.
Mysteriously, all of my calls to them were disconnected once I described the problem... very mysterious indeed.
These people are tail holes. At best, poor service- at worst- crooks. See my forthcoming posts at the various jeep forums..."
"I had ordered a towing hitch from this store on Friday, 7th July 06. I guess it was my mistake that I relied on a friend for his referral and did'nt do some price shopping as secondlyDrivewire claimed to have the "most competitive pricing".
They charged me $133 with free shipping. Amazon is offering the same piece for $97 with free shipping. I called in to cancell the order on the same day Friday, and was told that it did get cancelled, Jason, from sales had agreed to this. I received the towing hitch on Tuesday, then Jason says, sorry it was too late for a cancellation and that a Fedex truck had already picked it up.
They are located in California, Jason supposedly had talked to the warehouse there to stop shipment. I received the the shipment from Kansas City. This leaves me in a confused state, as to why was I being lied to?
Now, When I asked them to do a Price match, they wont do it, nor did I get a returned call back as Jesse had promised on 11th July.
Their RMA policy states that they will charge 30% as restocking fee, secondly i pay for return shipping, ie I pay they $39 for an unopened box and pay $10 for shipping. this is rediculous, when I could had got the same item from Amazon for almost $36 less that these guys in the first place.
Beware of their tricky policies and methods to trap you.

"Considering what I saw in regards to this stores ratings, I was skeptical about ordering from them. I had just had a bad experience from another Eibach reseller. It had dawned on me that it is easier for people to complain about a store rather than make recommendations or really state their OWN MISTAKES or real facts. I went to Eibachs website who listed drivewire.com as number one on their list. I then did the order online since they had the best prices for lowering kits. I then ordered online. I didnt want to call since I am a woman and didnt want to get taken for a runaround.... I ordered and everything was great. I didnt recieve an email or tracking number and I got worried and emailed them @ support and sales. I waited about 5min as I called and then transfered to a manager who apologized for the tracking thing not able to get to me and assured me that all emails are sent, he then mentioned that since my email is yahoo, all their emails get blocked because of spam filters from all providers. I then understood and made sense since the other place I bought said the same thing. To my surprise, they had a tracking number already and he assured me I would get it the next day, and sure enough I did. They didnt make me feel like a fool and they were more than helpful and quick and very professional. I realize that alot of people neglect the good experiences and voice the bad. No one wants to get ripped off or overpay and that is why I would recommend this site and company. I love my lowering kit and my car. "
"On May 17th, 2006 I placed an order for Eibach pro-kit #4027-140 through Drivewire.com. After only a few minutes of placing the order, I phoned to cancel it. The response I got on the phone, was "OK, your order has been cancelled." As I did not receive an email invoice or any other correspondence from Drivewire, I was sure the order was indeed cancelled. Yet, to my surprise, the springs showed up to my house. My credit card had also been charged for the part. I reviewed the cancellation policy, and realize I never got a cancellation number, nor do I have an invoice of any sort from Drivewire. I wanted to arrange to have the product picked up via ups and a full refund placed onto my credit card. I called the 800 number numerous times, and by the time I got an answer to leave a voice mail message to returns dept. I could not do so because the mailbox was full.
Their response,
Please be advised we do not show any cancellation for this order nor do we see any reason why it was cancelled. Please fill out RMA form online and you will be responsible for shipping. Thanks
Jesse

"Wrong part was sent, then company refused return, citing their "no return of electronic parts" policy.
Phone system refers customer service to the website,
where RMA requests were ignored."
"This company is a joke order a gas cap, they snt the wrong one, have been trying for 2wks to get a RMA with no luck. call get a recording I will stop paymet on cedit card. and writ bbb"
"I purchased some Mercedes parts for regular maintenance. Ordered on saturday, UPS ground free shipping. I received the package Tuesday. One part was missing, but after emailing their support I found that it shipped from another warehouse, no problem. The email support was quick, I got a response in 5 minutes with all the info I needed. Telephone queue was long and useless, though. I read all the reviews about drivewire on here and almost didn't buy from them because of the bad reviews. I don't regret ordering now, the parts are 100% genuine mercedes maintenance parts, from Germany. Shipping was quick and support email response was quick. The only problem they have in my opinion is that partially shipped orders show as if they completely shipped, so when you get a partial delivery you may freak out like I did. I will definately do business with them again, but hope they fix the way the orders are presented so that I know an order that was incomplete was shipped separately."
"Ordered online a left & a right Hella BMW headlight assembly, received two left's. Took forever to receive and RMA (1853356). I was charged for the replacement and even more than what was charged earlier. I returned the extra left headlight, they took for ever to acknowledge the receipt, never credited my account and when they finally did, they charged me a re-stocking fee! for their mistake., they never reimbursed me for the shipping & handling I incurred out of pocket. Jason was very professional but never delivered on the promises, Jerry was rude, unprofessional, hung up my wife a couple of times and lied many a times. I think they thrive on people who do not take time to fight for their rights but they chose the wrong man, I am not only denying the charge with my credit card but lodging a complaint with the BBB. I buy a lot of stuff online, especially Audiophile items & Automobile items but, this transaction has been THE WORST experience ever."
"Had to call to order part. Part said to fit, did not fit car. Had to reorder part. Said we could send other clutch back for a refund. Took a month and several phone calls to get RMA & shipping label. They recieved part Oct. 28,2005. 6 weeks later and still no refund. Have made several calls. They even recieved refund from manufactuer almost 3 weeks ago. For 3 weeks now they have given me a date that I will recieve my refund. It has never come through. I will never recommend this company to anyone nor use them again. They have the part and my money and seem to careless that I have not recieved a refund for a part ordered 12 weeks ago. And we filed everything they needed within the require time limit too. They are the ones dropping the ball. And keeping my money without any reason as to why."
"Spark plugs shown on the site as compatible were not. A another brand wiper blade was shipped instead of the quality denso part I selected."
