"Unfortunately the company did not have the items that I ordered in stock and so I had to find another company that had the spark plugs. They were very good about letting me know that they didn't have the items in stock. I would do business again in the future, and hopefully they'll have the products I need in stock next time."

"my first order was great good quality parts,good price,excellent delivery.I noticed most of the reviews i read that were bad delt with people who ordered the wrong part for whatever reason then tried to cancel the order. make sure you order the right part cause you dont have time to cancel. "After reading all of the negative reviews for Drivewire, I was hesitant to purchase from them. However I finally decided that their competitive pricing, availability of parts in stock, and free shipping (for orders over $50) policy were worth taking the risk. I'm glad that I gave them a chance, because the order was accurate and arrived very quickly. Despite my initial nervousness, I had a very good buying experience.

I also received a note from the CEO of Drivewire which explained that they are handling customer service directly now since they were having so many problems (as can be seen from the abundance of negative reviews that had been posted here) with the outsourced customer service that they had been using.

I will definitely consider purchasing from Drivewire again in the future.

"This is my third order from DriveWire, so obviously I haven't had any problems. Would I shop with them again? You bet. And the best thing... They ship to APOs, not many places do. You know how hard it is for Americans living overseas to get parts for American Spec'd cars? Impossible! Without DriveWire, my car would be dead for another 4 to 6 months."

"Drivewire (i.e. Auto Service Group Inc.), where the customer comes last.

Beware. I ordered a part and no fault of mine, it wasn't the right part. So I sent it back promptly, well packaged and in its original state. The guy at the shipping counter asked me for an RMA sticker, standard procedure right? Nope, I had to pay $15.30 to send it back.

Also, in the RMA doc there's about three different ways Drivewire.com can take more money from you. Of course you don't know this until it happens to you. Since I didn't feel like I should be penalized for a mistake that was as much theirs as mine, I called several times and wrote several e-mails. Despite the occasional assurance to the contrary Drivewire did nothing.

After 30 days, despite what they claim in their policy, still no refund. I call again. What a pain! What a waste of time! A week later I get my refund - but lo and behold, it's only a partial refund...

Finally I wrote one last e-mail asking drivewire to correct this unfortunate oversight. Result? Zippo, nada, more wasted time. At that point I should have just come here to post this review, so that other consumers don't have to go through the same lousy experience I had to.

postscript:
I got an e-mail from the CEO of drivewire.com, threatening me with legal action, claiming that my review here is "slanderous" and an "exaggeration." It's not. I have receipts and documents to back up everything I state here.

Instead of further abusing your customers, why not just send a full and prompt refund?
I would have much preferred that over having to write this review only to be threatened by the CEO.

"Driverwire is the most scrupulous company I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with and I really wish I'd taken a look at the BBB and Reseller ratings before placing an order...

1.Ordered Part in June

2.Called immediately to cancel order (less than 10 minutes). Waited on hold for 20 minutes before I was greeted by a messaging system for Jason. I verbally stated my order number and requested a cancellation.

3.Followed up via contact us form online, conveyed that I had call, and reaffirmed wish to cancel. (Note: Form states a response within 24 hours. Over 2 months and no response)

4. Called again, this time chose sales and after a long wait Jason answered (surprise!). Jason said he would put in the cancellation a.s.a.p. and that issue would be resolved.

5. Received email on 21st that item has shipped (wtf?). Called Jason again + responded to ****@****. Certainly there was a mistake I say... Jason confirms there is something suspect after checking warehouse; states something about shipment confirmation not corresponding to any actual order. Further, he states HE WILL take care of this.

6.Low and behold my part ships, they charge my CC, and now claim (according to dispute responde) I am at fault for not following RMA protocol. Huh? Order should have never been shipped. Even then, I never accepted the pkg, and rightfully so.

"Ordered a very hard to find axle assembly for my Volvo yesterday at noon. Recieved it in less than 24 hours. It was exactly as described. The cost was $20.00 less than a rusted junkyard replacement and $365.00 less than the Volvo rebuilt replacement. Shipping was free!!!!

"I ordered a 2pc set of cabin filters for my Nissan Xterra, paid for 2nd UPS shipping. Got the shipment the next day but it only had 1 filter. Called back the next day and was told the replacement would be shipped out immediately. I also asked for a refund of the 2nd day shipping. Called back 3 days later and was told the part was only one filter. I pointed out that their webpage (and many others) state that "1 Set of 2 Filters". I'm still waiting for them to tell me when they are shipping the 2nd filter. Meanwhile, went back to their webpage and the item is no longer listed.

2 weeks later...the item is relisted the same way but I still have not received the 2nd filter. The last time I called, they said they weren't going to send it to me. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
