"While I wouldn’t do EF again (I don’t believe the price is worth it, I planned a month long UK trip by myself that came out to be significantly less than a 2 week UK trip with EF) I did appreciate how amazing my guide was. He was also from the UK and had extra tips, recommendations and stories for us. Honestly he’s the only reason I’d consider doing an EF trip again. I do wish we would’ve had some more time in each city. Usually we had just a handful of hours up to one day free. The rest of the time was group tours/scheduled activities and travel time. If you have the option I’d recommend a single or double room vs the standard 4-6 ppl rooms. We had one girl that was super sick and she ended up getting everyone else she roomed with sick. Also not every roommate has the same courtesy/respect so I would again recommend bunking with as few people as possible. I really fell in love with the UK due to this trip and am thankful for the introduction."

"My sister died and they wouldn’t do anything except move the trip up. Now (after buying the travel protection) I’m pregnant and they refuse to do anything. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. It’s overpriced and you have to share rooms. It’s not worth it, and the customer service is awful. They basically said to me “well you can cancel but that will be 2000$ even though the trip is over six months away”. Trust me, there are plenty of travel companies that will actually work with you when things in life happen. STAY FAR AWAY from Ef ultimate break. I wish I had someone to tell me that when I originally booked but I failed and didn’t do my research "

"Just had to file a complaint with the BBB. I booked my trip over a year in advance for May 2021. For reasons unrelated to Covid-19 I had to cancel my trip. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for a week to no avail, and by time they contacted my back it was now 363 days until my trip rather than 365 so my cancellation fee jumped $300. Also found out I am being charged for the insurance I ALREADY purchased. I’ve put over $1000 into my trip, and I’m not even getting half of that money back when it was booked three months ago. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever again, they are preying on their targeted audience- students and individuals under 30. This company needs to be shut down before they take advantage of more people in this money hungry scheme they have going on."

"So glad I made the decision to travel with EF ultimate break. My trip to the Dominican Republic was my first time out of the country and also my first solo trip! It was the most exciting thing I've ever done. Our tour guide Cesar was great! Very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his country with us, and made us feel safe the entire time! "

"Budapest, Vienna, and Prague was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! It was my first time to Europe and my boyfriend and I couldn't have picked a better tour to start. The food, the cheap beer, and the guided tours were so exceptional. The highlights for me were partying in a Budapest "ruin bar," getting the chance to meet my penpal in Austria during free time (I had been writing to her for 5 years!), and eating the DELICIOUS meat that Prague is known for. Our tour guide, Bogdan, gave us awesome recommendations in each city and planned optional activities for us every day, including a speciality coffee tour in each city. He made sure we never missed any good opportunities!! If you are open-minded and want to experience the culture of Bohemia, GO ON THIS TRIP! You won't regret a minute. "
