"I went on the Emerald Isle trip during the summer last year. This trip was the best vacation and week of my life. My first time traveling as an individual, I was at first scared about meeting people and coming out of my comfort zone. But by the end of the first day, I was completely comfortable and had already made friends with some amazing people who, in fact, made my trip what it was.
The tour had the right amount of group activities and free time, so you felt that you got to see a lot of popular tourist attractions while still having times to choose your own adventures - especially at night. I think the trip was so great because we had an awesome tour guide, Katie, who was entertaining and willing to show us places we wanted to see, share stories, and even go out to the bars with us at night. She was hilarious, and I hope she continues to do the tours for a long time!
As for the location - we got to see a LOT of Ireland, which made the trip so wonderful. It was an experience full of diverse landscape and cities. At the end, Katie showed us a map of where we had traveled, and it was incredible to see how many places we got to go in 8 days. I wouldn't trade the trip for anything, it really was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'll have the memories (and souvenirs!) forever. I will definitely be doing more trips with EFCB before I graduate, and I highly recommend this one, especially if you want to celebrate your Irish heritage! "

"I chose to take a leap of faith and booked a kind of spir of the moment trip to Ireland for Saint Patricks Day through EF in 2014. I was nervous...of course I had questions, would it be worth the money, would I make it through all my flights okay, would I be alright out of country for the first time, and what exactly would we expirance. Nothing no amount of wondering or day dreaming could have prepared me for the amazing trip that was to come. EF booked all the flights all I had to do was show up and have passport and ID in hand; Of course there were some bumpy flight exchanges, but that's to be expected whether you're traveling with a company or by yourself. Once me and my best friend landed we were met by our local guide and right off the bat she was fantastic. She made us feel really comfortable, and she was our age so we had a lot in common which made the whole trip more enjoyable. We went all over Southern Ireland made stops in many towns, and some of the best nights were when we let loose got away from the crowds and popped into one of the more local spots for a pint. Everywhere we went the Irish people were so friendly and encouraged us to mingle and participate right along side them. We sang Irish folk songs with long time residents of Cork, we chatted and drank green beer with students from Trinity College, and we laughed and joked with new friends we'd made while watching the St. Patty's day parade in Dublin. It wasn't just the people that made this trip so amazing, it was the places we saw and the natural wonders we visited. Every castle we stopped at was steeped in history and our guide shared plenty of stories with us. We got right up to the edge at the "Cliffs of Moher," and felt the sea in our faces as we looked over the edge at fort "Dun Aengus," there were pebbled beaches unlike anything I'd seen before and gorgeous views no matter where we went. When all is said and done Ireland was more like a beautifully wonderful dream that was gone all to quickly, and none of it ever would have happened if I wouldn't have taken that leap of faith and decided to go with EF College Break!"

"My experience with EF was one that I will never forget and one that I want to repeat ASAP. I was afraid of the unknown at first, but that was fast gone. "My experience with EF College Break was amazing, to say the least. My trip started out shaky with a four hour delay to Amsterdam, but our amazing tour director was aware and alert and waiting for me when we got there. Everything was scheduled and booked for me, all I had to do was make my payments. I had the most amazing trip to Amsterdam, Paris and London.
