"Their website is unusually hard to navigate, they really should do something about that. If not for Froogle, and the price, I would not be even considering buying from them.
The rest of my experience with those guys was satisfying, the order process went smooth, and I had my item at the end of the week.
I'm still wondering if my mail-in rebate will be honored, and I will update with how that went.

"Was told my order shipped on 2/26/2007. It is now 3/8/2007 and still no delivery. I contacted them 4 times asking for a tracking number. They keep telling me someone will call me back with one, and I still haven't received one. Finally I received an email telling me that they aren't obligated to give me a tracking number. "On November 3 I ordered Monster Cable M1000DAV 2M HDMI 123141. I was not informed at the time that it was not in stock. Then I was told it would be shipped in 3 days. Then I was told it would be shipped in one day. On December 5 I was told that I had to reorder it as more than one month had passed since my original order. On December 12 I finally received a delivery from Erwincomp.com. It did NOT contain the Monster Cable I had ordered (although the packing slip enclosed correctly listed the Monster Cable I had ordered) but instead it contained something called an "Everyday case" "Organized and ready to go. Everyday". I am still attempting to reach them by phone. Apparently there is not a valid E-mail address. I still have not received the Monster Cable and am now the unwilling possessor of a Palm Pilot case that I neither want nor need."

"Ordered on a Monday with the stipulation that the item had to arrive by Friday. Followed up every day by calling and asking for a tracking number only to be told that the tracking number would be provided when it became available. Finally exasperated I called again the Thursday for the tracking number, and got the same response to which I replied that this was the fourth time the same thing has been said to me since I ordered the item and it has to be here tomorrow. He put me on hold and after 15+ minutes on hold I checked my email to find the tracking number I was seeking showed up in my inbox while I was on hold. The person never got back to me on the phone because he knew I would not be happy when I found the item wouldn't get here until the following Monday. Very poor experience with this retailer. "

When I place an order on-line, I am always anxious to receive the products, yet I don't want to pay for expedited shipping. After all, I shop on-line for good prices and paying huge shipping fees just negates this purpose.
I first suspected that something may not be going right with my erwincomp.com order when, after checking their website for two days, my order status hadn't changed.I also noticed that a reserve had been put on my credit card but the transfer had not yet happened.
I have dealt with merchants who are slow at updating their website and I thought this might be the case with erwincomp. So, I called (I only call as a last resort) to see what the true status of my order might be.
The first two times I called, there was no answer. Finally, on the third attempt, I got connected to a gentleman who, after a few moments, informed me that there was a problem with the shipping.
Despite offering two solutions, he refused to ship the product. I thought of a third solution after the conversation had ended (send it to another address), but I doubt that he would have been open to this because he was very surly and didn't seem interested in making the customer happy. The last thing I wanted to do was talk to that rude person again.
To sum up, I chose erwincomp because of their prices and, as long as everything goes OK, they are probably fine to do business with. But, if there is a problem, you may be subjected to a non-productive "Merchant is always right" attitude, as I was."

"I bought a Spider2 Pro monitor calibration kit from erwincomp.com. I read the negative reviews and thought I would try it any ways, since no one really lost any money, just cancelled orders, back orders. I wasn't in too much of a hurry so I figured if it was backordered, I could wait. Well, good news, it arrived about a week after I purchased it online. I did try to call and verify my order a couple of times, but the phone number was busy both times (other people have mentioned it). No matter, it arrived safe and sound and exactly what I intended to buy. It was $50 less than any other company. Hopefully the manufacturer will honor the rebate that they advertised. I only got a shipping packing list, not an actual receipt with the dollar amount. It almost doesn't matter because they were so much cheaper than anywhere else. By the way, I decided to sign up to reseller ratings because of my experience with this company and I thought it deserved some additional positive feedback based on my successful purchase."
"I made in order and needed it shipped somewhere other then my billing address. I get an email later in the day and find out that they won't ship to an address that isn't your billing address. They don't tell you this before hand which I found odd considering they let you list a separate shipping address. "

I placed my order and discovered in the confirmation email that I had mistyped my address. I quickly emailed their customer service with the correction. I received an email later that day that my order had been corrected, however just to be sure I decided to call them up and confirm. Had no problems getting in touch with a rep.
