"Everything with my online experience through ExcaliberPC was good, I successfully made my order and opted for a 2-day delivery through FedEx which was an extra $60.
Later the same day I got a phone call from a ExcaliberPC representitive (+1-***-***-****) asking for a second level of verification or rather "how I understood it" some sort of proof that I wasn't making a fraudulent purchase.
(I do not understand how since I used a MasterCard debit card and supplied all needed information in order to make the purchase)
Specifically what was requested was a work email so I can confirm my order through my work email. The employee assured me if I replied trough my work email (which I did not use for ordering) - or if I used Amazon-pay or Paypal, (both payment methods I had not used to purchase the product) that then the order would go through.
Now first, this immediately struck me as a scam call - someone calling me to ask for my personal information / compromize my work account or have access to payment methods I could be using.
The employee gave an excuse that anyone could create a gmail and make an order and confirmed that if I did not provide this extra information or confirmation through my work account my order would be cancelled.
This whole interaction crated increadible doubt as well as confusion on my part as how could any seller not be able to just process a debit card.
Given the fact I already had a bad experience trying to order my product from Walmart and they ended up cancelling it, I ideally wanted to have it shipped and delivered soon, I opted to not give access to payment methods but just share my work email so the seller could contact me there.
The representative on the phone was overall pleasant even though this whole process is extremely idiotic to me as anyone could own a custom e-mail domain and pretend they have a work account
[****@****] contacted me through my work email asking for the same information I had already supplied on the seller website - only after that the seller sent an e-mail that my order was shipped.
I will no longer consider ExcaliberPC for future pruchases unfortunately not because they didn't execute - in fact they did but because they created doubt in my mind that I gave my phisical address, personal and financial information to scammers. Because of this instance I will relate the Excaliberpc name with phone scammers.
I have ideas on how to improve their purchasing process if they really need people to provide extra information so I would love to give constructive feedback if Excaliberpc is interested."
"I chose ExcaliberPC because they had the best price, and several fast shipping options to choose from for my item.
I used the website to order and it was very easy, and communication afterward was very good as well.
I really like supporting businesses like this vs. a BigBox store or other super large retailers.
A+ guys, keep doing what your doing!"
"This was one of the best companies I've had the pleasure to do business with. Given everything that has happened in the past few years, I had almost forgotten what good customer service looks like. These folks went above and beyond to help me solve an issue (that wasn't even their fault), and when it's time for me get a new laptop, I already know exactly where I'll be getting it from."
"Excalibur PC was shockingly efficient and great to work with. Processed and shipped the order at lightning speed. When it came time to need a bit of assistance they answered the phone quickly and walked me through everything I needed professionally and with a lot a patience. Will purchase from again."
"Terrible customer service, tried to order a laptop, was charged to my card and then Excaliber decided to decline the order stating that a shipping address being different from a billing address was "suspicious". Get with the times, not everybody works from the same regular location. Even after trying to verify payment through three different forms of transaction, they still declined the order. Even after talking to them on the phone, they still weren't willing to sell me the computer. Ridiculous way of doing business, how many hoops do I have to jump through to give you my money? Bought it from HIDEvolution instead, those guys were AWESOME."
"I ordered a high end gaming laptop with memory upgrade. The laptop shipped fast. I couldn’t even tell that they had opened the box to install the memory.
I called to verify they had my laptop in stock, they answered the phone and confirmed. Fast shipping.
I would order from them again.

"People, don't be fooled by this company's bate and switch tactics. I provided a confirmed lower price and confirmed stock for an identical item sold by a highly reputable competitor and EXcaliberPC wouldn't honor their price match guarantee. Needless to say, this is a glaring red flag and I would not recommend EXcaliberPC to anyone who wants to work with honest merchants. "
"xotic PC certainly earns their name, They act like the machine I wanted was some kind of exotic ghost from Mars or somethingI would not have had this exact same build until Valentine's Day probably, However here at Excalibur PC I'll have the son of a **** by the end of the week. Forgive my language I'm a straight shooter And I call it how i see it. Freaking love you guys
P.S.- Even with the overnight shipping that I paid extra for here It was still almost $200 cheaper here, And I mean precisely the same build."
"Contacted sales to ask the difference between their model laptop vs the one on the manufacturers website, as there is a $400 difference. Instead of helping me because I was really curious as to why its that much more, they told me to look it up myself. I already did look it up before I contacted them, and just wanted to inquire as a consumer if there was a difference that might not be listed. Rude customer service. Never gonna give them my business. "
"Very racist company they like to rip people off like I said they are very racist"
"Really happy with ExcaliberPC's service and quality. Tell you why... First of all, I live in Hong Kong, where the model of computer I wanted to buy is not for sale (ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 (G733QS-XS98Q)), so I was looking around the world for it and found ExcaliberPC. A bit concerned about the "pre-order" status and the inability to pay with a credit card, I decided to take the leap of faith and order anyways. After ordering I received a friendly email reminder on sending photo proof of the bank transfer and assurance that my place in the queue was set already. With 70+ people in front of me, I feared it could take me months to receive my new computer, but actually, it took just less than 1 month in total. When the computer came in, ExcaliberPC contacted me to ask where I wanted the extra drive I had ordered (Samsung EVO980). I had no preference, so they suggested installing it as a C drive and shipped out my computer within the same day. Shipped out on Friday from the USA, arrived in Hong Kong Monday 10 AM. I am super happy."
"First they trick you with alot of new laptops models you can buy. After you pay for them, they contact you and ask if you want to cancel the order cause the laptop is not in stock. They also give you the opportunity to buy a different laptop than the one you thought you were buying.
Right now im waiting for them to return my money, but they dont respond or do anything.
Be carefull with this company. I have to take legal actions against them if they dont return my money. "
"i preordered my ASUS laptop from them. Got it a month later (much earlier than I expected since other retailers say it will arrive around May). However my particular machine has defects and I'm submitting a RMA. But that's not their fault and their service and attitude toward the computer's problem is absolutely professional. For that, I would recommend buying thing from them."
"Great prices great gifts and they usually throw in some free gifts. I work as an active duty marine on a military installation and sometimes shipping has it's fair share of headaches. My card was declined a few times due to billing address issues. The manager Steven worked with me all afternoon and even held my laptop after it sold it to make sure I got one. Steven is a life saver! Any other company could have just sold it to the next buyer but he took extra special care to make sure I got the one I wanted and helped resolve all of my shopping issues. I couldn't be more happy ordering from this company! Semper Fi! From all my brothers and sister in the corps. "
"Some peoples money is not good enough for this business.
Spend your money anywhere else. "
