"The initial purchase price of the TV was great. The total cost rose after having to add shipping and insurance, but I still got it cheaper than I could find it locally (Best Buy, Sears, Sams Club). So it was still a good deal. Unless you live in their very defined delivery area, just plan on paying shipping. Their web site seems to be a little deceiving in their reference to free shipping and their separate delivery map of the U.S.
The sales person was polite and helpful...a little strong on trying to sell the extended warranty, but still pleasant to deal with.
The TV itself was delivered in excellent condition - the original packaging was in great shape. And the delivery guys were friendly. They opened the box enough to plug in the TV to make sure it worked, and were in and out quickly. I cannot really give a true-to-form rating on their normal delivery time, as it was during one of the winter storms that had traffic stuck on the interstates for several days. So that delayed our shipment beyond what would have been normal.
All-in-all, I would buy from them again."

"I bought my new 60 inch Samsung Plasma from East Coast TVs. I took a look at them because they had a significantly lower price than the big box guys. I upgraded my deliver service for a couple of bucks more, and I got my TV in less than a week. The white glove delivery guys unpacked the TV and made sure it worked before I signed for it. I saved around $500 from the BB guys.
I was worried because I read bad reviews largely because East Coast does up sell the delivery service. I get that. But, if you do the math, it is a no-brainer. My experience has been very good.

"At 1st I was leery of giving them a try based upon some of the negative reviews. However I liked that East Coast responded to the negative reviews, plus their prices were not to be beat. They did somewhat pressure me to accept white glove delivery but I was going to take it anyway. The extra service was minimal in that the TV was delivered to the spot on the 1st floor where they partially unboxed it, and plugged it in. Just enough to verify that the screen lit up and no dead pixels, at least none that I could see.
They didn't bill me until it shipped and the salesman was professional.

"I selected East Coast TVs because the cost of the TV I was looking at was the most affordable there. I also saw on Google, they had some good reviews. I figured I could trust them. After I ordered my TV, a salesman followed up with a call to see if I wanted to update my shipping method (which I did). I received my TV within a week. They used a third party shipping company, rather than a national delivery service. Their delivery service was also professional and prompt. Me being the eager person I am, I would like to have received it faster, but the cost made it worth the wait."
"I would never deal with these people again. I ordered a grill for my house, which is inside the delivery area shown on their website. They never sent the grill. Every time I called to ask, they told me that they were working on it, but never did. They won't answer email, insisting instead that you call them (I guess that means they never leave a paper trail).
Four months later, I still don't have my grill. It's ridiculous. Perhaps they'll be better for you, but most likely, they won't. I'm reporting them to the FTC.
Like you, I like to look for low prices. But being consistently lied to isn't worth the savings."
