"I started searching the internet in early January for a good deal on the T4i Canon Rebel camera and came across the East Coast TV website on which the aforementioned camera was selling for a superb price. I placed the order on a Saturday night and received a call the next day for confirmation, which I really appreciated. I had the opportunity to talk with a sales rep who reviewed the order and asked if I was interested in other items to go with the camera. He indicated the batteries I ordered were not the correct long life batteries and I changed the order to the proper one. I did not experience any up sell pressure nor any other adverse aggravation. Some days later I read reviews from customers who trashed the company and I thought perhaps I'd made a mistake, so I went to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website and discovered every problem over the last 3 years was resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Considering the volume of business this company probably does, I thought the number of BBB complaints was very low, especially for the 3 year time frame quoted on the BBB site. To be honest, I had a wonderful experience with this company. My camera arrived as advertised and all ordered parts were there. The best deal on the internet was through East Coast TV, as I checked every website for a similar deal and none could touch the price. This company is on my favorites list as I plan to order more camera products from them. My experience was extremely positive and reasuring. I was able to track my order from the pick up time to delivery. I checked out the camera upon delivery, determined its excellent working condition, and subsequently signed the receipt ticket. I highly recommend this company to everyone who appreciates a good deal, bargain prices, and excellent follow up by the company. A company rep called me after delivery to gauge my satisfaction with product and service. Interesting that no other internet seller has done this except East Coast TV. Obviously, this company wants to grow! I'll certainly give them more business.

"Overall, a good experience. Good prices. Delivery went fine. What's not reflected in the survey was the hard, up-sell you get even when ordering online. You get a call from sales person. I was given what I felt was a hard sell, full of misinformation trying to get me to cough up more money. I could have totally done without that and there is nothing in the star survey to reflect this, so I mention it here.

1) I was offered extended warranty which I had already declined online. I refused and the sales push for it continued, including the misinformation that my TV purchase only included a 90 day warranty on parts and labor (which was untrue...it's one year). When I became irritated, the sales person dropped it and moved on.

2) I was offered white glove service. Which I refused. I was told that if I didn't have white glove, the delivery company would only deliver it to the curb. Since I was buying this for someone else who would be incapable of carrying the TV up the stairs to the house, he eventually offered a very low fee to add white glove service to ensure that the TV would be brought a) into the house and b) checked that it works.

I was a bit confused given their own delivery/return policy was based on the premise that all TVs over 50" would be unboxed and checked for defects BEFORE signing off on it. How do you do this at the curb? This is why they limit their returns for such items. So, why was I told I had to "pay" to get the same service level guaranteed by their website? All in all, I didn't want to risk the possibility of a problem with the deliver for the nominal charge they were asking..so I agreed to pay for it.

3) After I agreed to a small fee for delivery to upgrade it to "white glove", even though delivery was supposed to be free including the unbox and test, the sales person went to total the order and added 2% "insurance" charge that was never included or authorized or part of my original internet order. I stopped him and was told they charge insurance to protect the item during shipment (2% fee). I got very upset and argued that this was sellers responsibility not mine..until I took possession of the set. The charge was removed.

In the end, the item I ordered was delivered with in a few days, for a good price, in good working order, in new condition. It was brought into the house and taken out of the box to make sure there was no damage. That is all reflected in the 4 star rating I gave them for those particular items. However, I could have done without the hard sell after and the continual attempt to upcharge for extra services..and/or services already included in the price. I think out of all of that..I would not have minded the call..save for the misinformation and particularly the attempt to sneak in 2% on my order..that was not part of the original purchase online. I think EC TV would be well served to just eliminate that particular practice all together..regardless of the number of people who fall for it.

Other than the sales call after I ordered it online, everything went smoothly. I believe this is their standard OP...ie. every order online is followed up by a sales call to "complete" the order that includes hard sell tactics.

"The right TV at the right price! Everything worked as expected. I placed the order for a new 55" TV and it showed up 2 days later (NJ to CT standard shipping). The "white glove" delivery team, brought the TV in, helped unpack it and verified it was undamaged and that it worked. The TV was in perfect condition. Why pay one of the "big name" stores 30% more? Bottom line, Great Deal, Great Service and I would definitely buy from ECTV's again and recommend them to friends."

"I ordered a Canon camera(body), and it was delivered within a week. Someone from the store called the day after I placed the order to check on it with me, and sent it out right after that. They also called a few days after I received the item, to see if everything was okay. Seems like a real good dealer."

"I had been waiting for the price of the 2012 Panasonic TC-P65VT50 to come down as the 2013 models approached. East Coast, whom I had never done business with before, had everyone beat by a few hundred dollars the day I placed my order. I paid for rush delivery; they shipped on Monday and the plasma was up and running in my home on Friday morning. Delivery was professional and everything was in perfect condition.

I would only suggest you bargain for something else if they offer you a free HDMI cable 'worth $70' since you can get all the high quality HDMI cables you want online for under $10. But all sellers vastly overstate the value/price of HDMI cables so don't count this against East Coast. I'm very satisfied across the board.

"I purchased a 55" flatscreen TV from East Coast TV. Their sale price was several hundred dollars less than their competition and the online purchase procedure was straight-forward and efficient. The TV was shipped from the east coast to California for a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time and it arrived in perfect condition. "The TV I ordered is awesome (Panasonic 65" VT Series Plasma HDTV - TCP65VT50). The price was over $400 less than all other sites, and I received the TV only 3 days after placing the order on a Sunday afternoon!

I read a few online reviews of East Coast TVs prior to ordering, and all basically said that after placing the order I would receive a harassing phone call to try to tack on extra costs. I did receive a phone call only minutes after ordering, but it was relatively painless and I declined all extra costs.

I was skeptical at first, but I am now a believer in EastCoast TVs!

"Purchasing the TV from East Coast TV's was a relatively smooth experience. I placed the order online and was contacted the next day to review the order. They tried to up-sell me on white glove and express shipping. I was also told that if I went with the free ground shipping (7-10 days) it would take 2-3 weeks and ship from NC rather than NJ. After a discussion we saw eye to eye and in the end they did the right thing and shipped from NJ (express shipping) at no additional cost. All of this could have been avoided had their shipping terms been described on their website. All in all i would purchase from them again."

"First time ordering from East Coast TVs on 1/11/13 after having done lots of reading on reviews for the company. Throwing out the worst and the best of those, I decided to give it a shot. The Samsung UN60ES7500 LED TV was a full $500 less expensive here than at some of the more known online and local retailers, and to me, $500 is a nice chunk of change.

Ordered placed and within 10 minutes, I've gotten an order confirmation email sitting in my Inbox. I'll update this review as I progress through the entire process. Hopefully you will hear from me soon with more positive feedback.

"Bought a TV, 3d glasses and a warranty thru Eastcoast Tvs. Smooth transaction, very communicable staff. Steve of eastcoast Tvs personally called to confirm my order and added on an 12" hdmi cord for upgrading my warranty and shipping. I also had an issue with FedEx and receiving part of my order (3d glasses). Took it up with customer service thru eastcoast Tvs and they handled it very quickly getting another package sent out asap. They return calls and emails very efficiently and I would definitely recommend them. Really great prices and great customer service. Will refer my friends to them! "

"Don't hesitate to buy from these guys. I am always skeptical with online purchases of this magnitude but these guys made it worth the research.

With me being from the South, Tennessee originally, I feel their Customer Service does have a bit of that well known Northeast mentality but overall, they were responsive to my concerns in the end.

Great TV without a doubt and a spectacular price. After saving on taxes and the great price, I saved over $700 from what I could get from Best Buy or PC Richards. The TV did go down a little in price before I received mine. When I called about the price drop, they explained their ordering process from their supplier based on volume which sets the price at the time of my order and that their prices fluctuate consistently based on the volumes they order. With the price I got, I was good with that.

I did pay for the Express White Glove Service since I would be going out of town rather quickly for the Christmas Holidays. When they were not able to meet my deadline based on my departure (only missed it by a day based on the time of day I placed my order) they gladly refunded my money for the Express Delivery and I still got the White Glove Service once I returned home two weeks later.

Also got a great price on the "In-Home" extended warranty. I don't usually do extended warranties, but based on the size of this TV at 65", I didn't want to be lugging it around IF something went wrong with it. They will come to me for my repairs if necessary.

I am actually in the market for a MUCH smaller wall mounted TV for my master bathroom so I highly suspect I'll be looking around on their website again very soon. And with the money I saved on my original purchase, this will be like a freebie.
