I was skeptical about buying it online, but East Coast TVs made it easy. They offered a great price, extended warranty insurance, and door to door service. Everything went perfect and the tv even arrived ahead of schedule! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a major purchase-they can't be beat! "
"Pricing is very competitive. Shipping the 80" TV turned out well. Be patient, it took almost 2 weeks. The white glove delivery was done professionally.
As mentioned in other reviews, you'll get a call within minutes telling you free shipping doesn't apply to your address. Don't accept first price quote for white glove delivery or extended warranty. There is also a charge for shipping insurance. I was told it was 1% but the charge was over 2%. After complaining, an adjustment was made. Too much bait and switch for me. Good luck!

"Overall, I was satisfied with my experience shopping at East Coast TVs. Some things that tripped me up at first, which I think other people shopping there should know, are:
1) They show a coupon code for 2% off HDTVs, but read ALL the caveats before using it. It only applies to "certified check, money order, or wire transfer" as payment methods. Their checkout process WILL NOT care if you use a credit card with the coupon code (as I mistakenly did). As a result, their sales team will call you to tell you that the coupon code will not apply, then they will attempt to upsell you like classic car salesman. Because the price of the TV was so low, even compared to Amazon, I took them up on an extended warranty.
2) Regarding extended warranties, the total years listed INCLUDES the manufacturer's warranty. Even though it's called a "3 year extended warranty", the "extension" part is only 2 years, after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
3) White glove delivery service is more like gray glove. They have a contract with a 3rd-party delivery trucking company which will deliver a television to your home. In the contract, however, the 3rd-party service will only hook power up to the TV to test it on the FLOOR. They WILL NOT put it on a TV stand or help you mount it or help you put it the base on it or even fully remove the TV from the box.
Overall, if you're looking to save a lot of money on a nice television and willing to sacrifice some customer service perks, such as no car salesman upselling and true white glove service, then I'd recommend East Coast TVs."

While the nomenclature used is confusing (On order meaning currently waiting for new stock), I will say they went above and beyond to try fix the situation and clarify for future customers.
As with many online retailers reputability is always a concern, but I'm happy to report that East Coast TVs did a great job to reach out and communicate, which is more than many retailers, online or otherwise would do in their situation."
"Have been waiting to get the TV that I bought on Cyber Monday - nearly 4 weeks ago. The customer service had told us that the model we ordered is out of stock and they hope to get it in couple weeks. Last week when my daughter called to check, their rep was quite rude. I put a negative review for the store this weekend. Got a prompt call from Tony at East Coast TV who confirmed that the model I ordered is still on back order but he provided a slightly better model with upgraded shipping included for the original Cyber Monday price. I am happy with their prompt addressing of the issue. Looking forward to receiving the TV."
"First of all, I love the TV. And even with black friday deals Amazon was like $700 more. The one thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars across the board is the shady hard-sell I got on white-glove shipping. My TV was offered with free shipping. The business day after I ordered, I got a call offering white glove service, first for $199, then $119, then $99, in the span of less than 5 minutes.
What's the difference, I asked. White glove supposedly meant they ship it from their store vs drop shipping from a warehouse in California. That means it's delivered in 5-6 days instead of 3+ weeks. And when delivered, they bring it into your house instead of leave it at the end of my driveway. I declined, because it seemed fishy that they dropped the price so much, so fast.
Next business day, I get a shipping confirmation email - item has shipped, but from New Jersey, not California. And within 7 days it was in my living room, carried in by two guys and unpacked so I could inspect for damage before accepting delivery. Basically, I got all the benefits of "white-glove" shipping. Oh, and the company that called to deliver was called White Glove shipping. So, buyer beware.
Other than that, couldn't be happier with the TV, the value, and the speed of delivery. I'll know next time what to expect, and hopefully you will too."
"Like some I was skeptical about buying from East Coast but for the most part it was a pretty smooth transaction. I purchased an 80" Sharp thru the website and took the 2% "paycheck" discount not realizing at the time that it meant I would have to pay via check which I was more than willing to do. I also opted for the "free" shipping. Within 24 hours I received a call from a sales associate to arrange shipment. Since I live fairly local (NY Metro Area) I had hoped the TV would ship from their local warehouse getting it to me in days. However, I was told TV's in their local warehouse are for pricey expedited shipping options and that my TV would be coming from the west coast which would take up to 10 days or more. I was told if I wanted it faster I could pay for faster service. It was then I was also told that their "free" shipping did not include the insurance which was a surprise. But I was excited about a new toy and opted to pay for the faster shipping. So my final total invoice 24 hours after I purchased the TV online was $100s more than the original invoice a day earlier because I opted for the faster shipping, had to pay insurance, and was told I could not use the 2% "paycheck" discount which was a disappointment. In hindsight I could have saved the money and waited but my TV arrived within a week and all in all I was happy with the price. "
"*update 12/21/12* The tv was delivered on the 19th of this month. The price was great compared to everywhere else at the time and the delivery was fast, friendly and professional. I am glad that I decided to give them a try and although I was a bit nervous since It was my first time using this company I am happy to report that my order was delivered and I received exactly what I expected and wanted which was the lg 7600 3d tv.
I will compare prices to East Coast TV's before buying similar products from other online stores and I recommend others do the same. The bottom line is that this company is legit and the order was as easy and as professional as any other of the top popular online retailers with great customer service and the best price for a brand new tv delivered to my house with no tax and free shipping. It is my pleasure to rate this company with a full 5 stars. I must thank my friend for recommending them to me and I recommend this company as well and I hope this review helps others.
12/13/12..Wow just bought a lg 47" 240hz 3d smart tv from east coast for a very nice price and I will have to do follow up reviews to track my experience but so far the workers seem friendly and communication has not been a problem.
