"I found shoes that I really wanted, and Eastbay was the only website that had them for sale in the style/color I wanted. (They were the Adidas AR-D1 Derrick Rose edition in all black with red soles, if you are interested). I had never ordered from Eastbay before, so I checked ResellerRatings and was very hesitant after the numerous bad reviews they have received. I decided to take a gamble--the shoes were THAT fresh! 5 business days later (I opted for standard shipping, which was FREE for this item) they have arrived and I couldn't be happier. The shoebox came in one of those shipping bags, and the box looked a little worn but the shoes themself were in pristine condition. I am very happy I gave Eastbay a chance!"
"I can't believe that I ordered through east bay. I have had the worse experience ever. I placed an order with you and my card was promplty debited for $270 at the beginning of April. For some odd reason the product never reached me and was returned to sender on April 10. It made it all the way to the Elgin post office and was returned. Why? I have no clue. I call last week in regards to a refund the initial call I was never told about an investigation needed to be done and asked the rep for a refund. I was told as soon as the product reach them my card will be credited. I call back a couple of days later I am then told that an investigation is necessary. Why wasn't I given this information on the initial call now I am contacting east bay a week later the product has not been recieved and I still do not have my refund back on my card?? The worse of it I get a supervisor and she transfers me into a voicemail. What kind of service is this? I find this to be a major issue. I will never order from East Bay ever again. I am truly dissatisfied with the level of service and process."
"I only received one shoe and when I called customer service they said they would send a replacement pair. They told me to tosss the shoe I had because they could resell one shoe. I later found out that if I did not send the one shoe, which I had thrown away per eastbay's recomendation, that I would be charged $100 for the replacement pair. "What a horrible experience with this company. I returned three items for three separate orders. I was refunded incorrectly for two of the three items. When I tried talking with them, they basically called me a liar. "We have no record of your item ever being returned to us." then the story changed to we refunded you for an item that I never even sent in to be returned, which is $55.00 cheaper then the item I actually returned. I asked them to check the back of the return invoice and they kept changing the subject. Then the supervisor gets on and basically says the same. What a joke. No, we're sorry, or we can look into this for you. BBB will be my next step. This business has had the last of my business. "
"I ordered the Jordan 13 on 1/12/2013 and received an order confirmation.I called Eastbay to make sure my order went through and the order and customer number I received was mixed up with someone else so they could not access my order. I called back the following day and Eastbay stated that all the orders were messed up due to a website crash and they would be relaunching the shoes and I would receive an email and a phone call the following day about it. Not only did I not receive a phone call, but Eastbay stated they would post the date on Facebook and Twitter and not send an email. Eastbay also stated that the relaunch would not be exclusive to people affected by the website crash but to anyone who wanted to purchase them. I tried to file a complaint and spoke with a woman who stated she would forward the feedback to the marketing department. She would not document a formal complaint but rather speak with them and there was no way for me(as a customer) to feel like I was being heard. I also called back an hour later requesting a refund and was told they could not find my credit card information and I was not charged when really I was and I also have a transaction number for the charge. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase another thing from Eastbay."

"Ordered shoes in early November 2012. Received shipment one week later but they sent me the wrong shoes in a crusty used brown box!! I immediately requested for a refund and a free return label. They refunded my shipping charge but it took 2 whole weeks for them to send me a return label via email. I sent them their "wrong" shoes back immediately. It's been over 3 long weeks and still no refund. I've been contacting them every week and they keep telling me they did not get the "wrong" shoes back yet and won't refund me the money even though it was their mistake in the 1st place! I am finally fed up because they have had a $130+ charge on my credit card for over 1 month now. It is now mid December 2012. I've started a dispute with my own credit card company instead of dealing with their poor customer service. What a joke of a company, holding my money hostage!! Absolutely ridiculous!!"
"First of all, I would not buy anything from Eastbay. The shipping is slow, and their customer service is horrible; they don't care about exchanges as long as they sell their products in the first place.
The problem is, in most cases, the shoe sizes on Eastbay are simply WRONG. Be very careful!! But if you want to exchange your item, the process is so slow. If you simply return your shoes by using the default option ($6.**), it takes about 3 weeks for them to get to Easybay (this is what the customer service told me). Even if you buy a 2 day or 1 day return label (which is at lease as twice as expensive), it takes 2 ~ 4 days before you even get the return label from Eastbay!! So it is not a 1 or 2 day return. It is, in fact, a 5 ~7 day return.
If you have used a coupon, do not expect to get exchanges. From my experience, Eastbay wants to sell products for regular prices. So do not expect exchanges on discounted items.They will simply say the requested item is out of stock.
Moreover, items are not often in stock even though the website says otherwise. This is what the Eastbay customer service told me as well when I asked about my exchanges. Because of Eastbay's wrong information, I wasted my time and shipping fees (I bought a 2-day shipping label without receiving the item I requested). Don't be a fool like me.
Simply, Eastbay does NOT care about customers. Well, in fact, even the shoes I bought and returned looked like used ones..

"I order a jacket from ebay and it took 12 days to recieve it. I was to big, so i wanted to do a return/exchange. Now they are telling me that it will take 3 to 5 days to review the order and then 5 to 6 days to recieve the item. Wow!!!!!! It was a black Friday sale and now I will recieve it by Christmas!!! "We ordered a pair of shoes, then called and cancelled and ordered another pair instead. The second pair cost $50 more than the original ones. Despite their policy to not charge until the shoes are shipped - they charged and took money out of our account for both pairs. It has taken over a week to get our money credited for shoes that never left their warehouse. They can take the money from our account in less than 2 hours, but can't put it back for weeks when they haven't even shipped the shoes! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE and POOR Customer service!"
