"SIMPLE, STAY AWAY!!!!

STAY AWAY!!! They sell low quality stuff!! And do not help customers with problem orders. My Break away pants broke during a test! Snap came right out of the fabric. Hooded sweat shirt is 2 sizes too big!!! Bought an XL, got an XXL, however it says XL. I have to pay for return shipping for they're mistake? WTF? Lost a customer for LIFE!

"Eastbay's inventory seems a little strange, that's my only gripe. They had some flannel shirts that I wanted and at decent prices, and I couldn't find them anywhere else. However, after browsing around and making sure I had everything in my cart that I wanted, one of the shirts suddenly went out of stock. I fiddled around with it for a while but got nowhere, so I decided to wait a day and see what happened. I was able to place the order the following day with no issues. The package came quickly and everything was in order. So other than the strange inventory problem, it was a fine experience."

"AUSTRALIANS, DO NOT BUY FROM EASTBAY!

Don't make the same mistake I did. It took nine emails and a half an hour phone call with my bank to purchase.

Eastbay are just so hopeless to deal with. I ordered a pair of shoes online - which appeared in stock when I ordered them. They billed me for the purchase but then informed me that they were no longer in stock. The process of choosing another pair was so painful. They need you to call (not email), but none of their phone numbers work from Australia. Then after 9 emails required for them to actually accept my replacement shoes via email, they needed me to call my bank to 'authorize' my credit card that they had already charged - before they would send the shoes. So I had to spend another 30 minutes with the bank trying to work out what they wanted. Then when the shoes arrive, they were oversized and you have to pay an additional $20 in shipping to exchange.

It is way easier (and about the same cost) just to buy locally.

"wow! I am so upset with the way Eastbay handled their mistake on my order. I ordered a pair of Air Max , socks and work out shorts. The order was shipped and delivered on time but there was a small problem, my shoes were not in the box and I was still charged full price for them. So I called thinking they would say we will send you a pair of shoes ASAP! Nope, not the case. They were rude and insisted that there was a minor mistake in shipping and that is why I didn't get my shoes. On top of the rude response the shoes were no longer available. I needed these shoes by the next day for an outdoor event so I wasn't going to wait on them to ship me new shoes. I requested a refund on my account. Well, a week later there was still no refund. Then by the second week , still no refund. So here I am the third week from when I received my order with no shoes and they still haven't refunded my money. I just got off the phone with them and there is no explanation why my refund hasn't been processed and no one really seems to care or make it their responsibility to take care of this issue. I will never order a thing from Eastbay and discourage you from ordering from them as well. Since this incident I have looked into their service ratings and it is pretty clear that they are rated very poorly. "

"Below post was rectified by Eastbay customer service & they fully refunded my purchase with an apology ...good response from Eastbay Cust service .."I ordered a "Jugs small ball pitching machine" from Easybay & there was no warning that the item was not suitable for 240volt usage (we live in Asutralia). The item was available for International customers & came with an adaptor for 240v. When my son plugged it in he got an electric shock & blew the fuse. I have chased Eastbays "product specialist" team for weeks to no avail. But they did have the time to put a warning on the product post my email ... "PLEASE NOTE: Only use 110 volt AC with this product. Attempting to use this machine with a 220 volt AC electrical system can result in life-threatening injuries and will damage the machine's motor". Very dissapointing. ""

"I ordered some snow shoes that I needed by the weekend. I paid an extra 22+ bucks to have it within 2 days... 2 days later I get an email stating that they JUST sent it and sent it ground! I called within that time and spoke with several supervisors that assured me it would be fixed. End result I had to cancel my order and wait a week to get my money refunded even though it was taken out of my account immediatly! Completely ruined my weekend in the snow with my family! I will NEVER order from this site again. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE EVERYTHING! "

"UPDATE: The customer service team lead has informed me I can return my order and shipping costs will be refunded. I wonder if he read my review on resellerratings.com :-)

After ordering a pair of running shoes at Eastbay, form Amsterdam, Holland, I found out I had confused UK/US sizes. Within one hour after I places my order I sent an email to their customers service to change the order. After 20 hours I received a reply stating that my order was already being processed and that they received my email too late make any changes in the order! "we work hard at processing our orders as quickly and efficiently
as possible and apologize for any inconvenience due to this. " Apparently the Customer Service is not working very efficiently since it took them 20 hours to process my request. It's a good thing though that I will receive my non fitting running shoes within 30 working days! ;-( But one hour after the order was not fast enough to change it.... Very disappointing service at Eastbay, stay away from this shop!

"I live in the UK, and have used Eastbay a couple of times for Basketball clothing and shoes. I got a pair of Kobe Zoom II's and recenetly ordered a pair of Nike Hyperfuse's. The choice on the shoes is second to none, i haven't found a wider range of clothing and shoes!
Shipping is expensive - but, to all people not from the States ordering from here: What do you expect!? No issues with anything, apart from having to pay custom tax on it - but again, with research prior to buying, you should know this is coming (transatlantic, non EU etc)
I would strongly reccommend Eastbay because even when you add shipping to your order, if you add some jerseys and shorts and other items to your basket, and make the purchase actually worth it, you really save money compared to buying in the UK! For £112 i got a pair of shoes, Jordon Top, Jordan Shorts, LeBron HEAT Tee, Eastbay Jersey and Shorts and a pair of Nike Hyperfuse's. The shoes alone in UK are around £70-80. the Jordan gear would've come to another £40, and you can't just go and buy cheap jerseys and shorts here much. 10/10!

"DO NOT ORDER IF LIVING IN AUSTRALIA. I have had my first and very last experience with this company. I order a pair of Nike shoes on 6/10/2010 - everything went well - UPS shipped received very happy but the information I received on shoe sizes was incorrect my size in Australia same as the US - so I paid $40 to return them with the clearly marked exchange/return form - apparently when it states free shippment of exchanges they don't make it clear that this is for the USA only not Australia, they will refund your card or tell you they have credited your account -I got both stories. NOT impressed - no reason just sorry for the inconvenience - EASTBAY read your returns reviews and get your act together either make it clear on your website or don't ship to Australia and save everyone the muck around in future."

"I ordered a pant from Eastbay on 1/31/10 (Sunday). An email confirmation was sent after placing my order, plus my credit card was charged right away. On 2/4/10 (Thursdays), I received an email stating my order was canceled because the item was out of stock. To their credit, they reversed the charge on my credit card automatically without further incident. It was disappointing, but I may try them again in the future. Eastbay is essentially an online-only version of Foot Locker with a different name. Eastbay and Foot Locker are owned by the same entity. Footlocker.com charges sales tax when ordering online; Eastbay doesn't charge sales tax because Eastbay is an e-commerce store with no brick and mortar stores."

"I had a good buying experience with these guys compared to some who have posted. Ordered from Ontario, Canada on the 21st (sat) shipped on 23rd (mon) was charged on the 25th and the item arrived on the 31st. The item was exactly what I ordered for about half of the price I could get it for here. The best thing about the transaction was that the duty/taxes/brokerage fees were included UP FRONT which almost never happens. "

"Horrible customer service. Used Paypal when checking out and received an error message saying that it did not go through and I needed to pay another way so I used my debit card which appeared to go through fine. Just got shipping confirmation from UPS and they are shipping it to my PO Box that is on my Paypal account instead of the shipping address that I entered upon checkout when paying with my debit card. Called customer service and was told that eventually the package would be sent back to them in a few weeks since they don't deliver to po boxes and they could try to reship it. If I want the items sooner I can pay for another order. I guess I should consider myself lucky that they didn't take the payment twice, but what did they do with my debit card info? I own a business and if I do something negative that impacts my customers, I do whatever it takes to make them happy. Won't be shopping here again."

"I ordered a pair of Nike Super Speed TD cleats from them. When I received the shoes they were marked as Nike Speed TD on the box and on the shoes themselves. I called to have the error corrected and they shipped out a new pair. I was frustrated by the fact they did not offer to use an expedited shipping method, but whatever.

Another week goes by, and I receive a box which looks like the UPS truck ran over it although the shoes themselves seem okay. Guess what? Nike Speed TDs again!!!!!! I called back to ask about this, and they brought up a picture of the shoe and confirmed that what I had was the older shoe, not the newer one I ordered.

They offered to resend the shoes (this time with expedited shipping), and would have the shipping department visually inspect the box and shoes to ensure I got the right ones. I said forget it. I asked for a refund (they are selling the Nike Speeds for $20 cheaper), and said I would send one pair back at their shipping cost.

Without a doubt, I would never order from here again. I waited over 2 weeks to get the wrong shoes, and had to make two phone calls and a trip to the UPS store to do it!!! I was better off paying more to get the shoes locally!
