"Didn’t even buy my laptop from eluktronics.. I did the dumb thing and went through Cyberpowerpc. One year after purchase my gpu craps out and guess who’s warrantee just expired? This guy*thumb pointing at me* .. and of course CP wouldn’t lift a finger to help their customers (why would anyone expect them to? They got their money already. That’s just added costs and trouble they don’t legally HAVE to go through, right?). I had a wild idea out of the blue.. I’m gonna call Eluktronics and see if they might be able to help me.. it’s a pretty low chance, I thought, but maybe they might be able to give some guidance in the worst case. In steps Matt and the guys at Eluktronics- not only were they willing to take a look at the laptop, they were able to repair at literally half of the cost my wife and I were expecting it to be. I liken it to me having taken my knockoff reboks to a Nike store and they agreed to resole them. Wholly unexpected and absolutely clutch of them- thank you Eluktronics you guys are literally my entire family’s saviors

"As someone who owns three large Macaw parrots, I know too well the damage they can do to expensive electronic equipment. Flimsy, wafer-thin laptops are no match for their destructive power. I am also constantly on-the-go, so a sturdy, robust laptop is a necessity. That's why I ordered Eluktonics THICC-17. Its solid, robust design, heavier frame, and 90's-type thickness is far better suited to survive in hostile environments such as mine.

The THICC-17 has either met or exceeded all performance expectations and also greatly increased my production speed. 3D models and video renderings that once took all day on previous laptops now take only a fraction of the time. Being able to preview my After Effects videos in real time is an added bonus!

I have not done any official benchmarking, but I have been operating in the graphics world since 1983, and the THICC-17 has exceeded all previous computers I have owned for graphics applications. In fact, I recently ordered a second 17.3" laptop from Eluktronics for general, non-graphics applications as to prolong the life of my THICC-17 (work computer).

All-in-all, I am very satisfied with my Eluktronics THICC-17 and would recommend this type of laptop to anyone who works in a volatile environment, those who are not a fan of the wafer-thin laptops, or designers who are not so "dainty" with their computer equipment."
