"This is the 3rd time I have tried to post a report on my buying/ownership experience with Envision and, hopefully, with the reformatted ResellerRatings, I will be successful this time.
I researched nearly 9 months before I bought my current PC from Envision. I wanted a vendor who had a great reputation for quality, reliability, honesty, credibility, and technical know-how. So off to Todd Keller and ECS my credit card went with absolutely no regrets. I got a killer AMD Athlon XP1800 system keyed to my specs with customer support and appreciation to be envied. It has been such a great buying/ownership experience so far that I have recommended Todd and his firm to friends and my employer. In fact, we just took delivery of a new P4 system and, once again, ECS did not disappoint. Quality and care are trademarks. When it comes time to buy again, Todd will get my business.
And one thing should be made clear, customers don't go to ECS for bottom of the barrel prices but for pinnacle quality, service, and support. Dirt cheap PC's or computer parts don't mean much when they don't work right. Check ResellerRatings. This site is loaded with complaints of people who saved a buck and lost peace of mind. Kudos to Todd and ECS!!!!

"ordered a complete system for my wife for x-mas. I arrived on time and as ordered. You can buy cheaper computers, but I don't think you can beat the quality and service. The service was excellent.I would buy from them again. I have found out, from using other venders, that technical support os a oxymoron in a lot of cases."
"I have had this computer for 5 years. Boy they put their computers together good. I did have them install 2 extra fans and i'm sure that help to keep things cool. If a part you want in your computer is not listed just as for it. I wanted a disk drive and video card not listed and it only delayed the order 2 days. Total time from placing order till it was delivery was only 5 or 6 days. Super service. After 5 years I had my first small problem. The CPU fan started making noise. Send Envision computer solutions an email and had my replacement fan in two days. Their price may not be the lowest but their computers and service are sure the best. I'm just about ready to upgrade to a new computer with vista and you can be sure of where I'm going to buy it."
"Great computer, inside the computer the cables are arranged logically and looks professional. Will buy from them again. Delivered as promised."
"These folks are pretty amazing. Having dealt with them before, I have high expectations, and they keep beating them. My latest order arrived two days *before* I expected it, but not before *four* emails from Envisions keeping me advised of progress.
The first time I ordered from Envisions last April, I ordered a few parts (mobo, CPU, DVD-ROM) - they all came very carefully packaged in one box (saving on what was already a very reasonable shipping cost), with the CPU already installed in the mobo, Arctic Silver already carefully applied(!), just needing the heat sink and fan clipped on. I hadn't asked for that, Envisions wasn't supplying me with a complete system - but they took care of it for me.
I don't know how they could make my experience any better. (I'm sure that next time I order from them, I'll find out!:)
Let's face it, we're all busy - who has time to waste chasing after people to make sure they do the job right? These folks go well beyond doing the job right. Couldn't recommend them more highly."
"It has been about 1 year since I bought my Envision system. Since that time my system has performed flawlessly. If you look inside the case you'll see they do the little things like using ties for the power supply cables, etc. The only thing that bothered me was that the system was a little loud. I can't blame newegg for this because they built it to my specifications. If you do order from them and want a quiet system, make sure to specify this."
"After spending a number of months looking around the Internet for "parts and pieces", I found ECS in "Resellerratings.com" on the advice of a colleage.
I read the many positive comments, compared the price of an ECS-built and tested system with its three-year warranty with what I thought I could do buying all the "parts and pieces" and assembling and testing the system myself. I pretgty quickly decided there was no sane choice but to give this vendor a "try". I have not been disappointed by my decision to buy my new home PC from Envision Computers Solutions.
ECS was responsive from the start, annwering a number of questions I directed their way promptly and completely. I always felt I was getting an accurate and complete answer from Todd Keller. No baloney, no trying to sell me on something, just the facts.
I configured and ordered my new system from ECS's extensive menu of brand-name components. The system arrived in excellent condition and as scheduled.
I unpacked it, connected my monitor, plugged the PC in, and it operated as expected from the "git go".
While installing my personal software suite, I encountered an IRQ problem with the USR 56K modem I had ordered with my new ECS system: a program I used to do online banking with my local credit union required operation on COM1-4 (old code!) and I was unable to reconfigure the new USR modem to a COM port other than COM5. I emailed ECS and they quickly offered to send me another modem they were sure I could reconfigure to support my old software. I got the exchange modem, a Cardinal, installed it, and everything worked fine. This was NOT an ECS problem, but it is good example of the kind of customer service you can expect from this company! By the way, the Cardinal modem was less expensive than the USR mode: the difference in price was credited on my very next credit card statement.
It is now about 6 months later and my ECS PC system just keeps chugging/whizzing along. I have never had a problem with it, but if I do, I know ECS stands behind their products 100%.
I highly recommend doing business with ECS. "
"I ordered a 1.4 ghz anthlon complete system from envisioncs.net a little while back. It's is the second computer I've purchased from them and I am VERY happy with the results.
When the computer was first sent to me the motherboard had a minor glitch which prevented it from starting up (due to shipping). I called envision and their customer service people were great. After troublshooting a little we decided the best thing to do was send the computer back... They payed for shipping both ways, and, for my inconvenience, installed a FREE network card! (All inside of 2 weeks during holiday season. Try to get Dell to do all that)
The computer was _exactly_ what I wanted b/c they give you the flexibility of customization (and you don't have to deal with the hassle of building and troublshooting yourself). The computer was cheap; no-name pricewatch sites have cheaper one's but, it's not worth it.
Thank you for a very pleasant experience! I look forward to doing business with Envision in the future.
(btw actually ordered in Dec but there's some kind of bug in the website)
