this is probably the easiest to use item I have bought - just screw it in and switch it on. This has worked every time so far.

We have the LED in the centre of a set of three; the other two being mini-twisted CFL bulbs of equal brightness. As other reviewers have mentioned, the LED colour is whiter, but after a while we found the LED preferable because it seems to be a purer light.

All-in-all the units are the best buy in LEDs I have yet come across.


There are no negatives about this product that I can identify.

My initial thought on receipt of the LED bulb was that it is a lot smaller than I expected. But I soon realised this is an asset rather than a liability. It is easier to hold or put in your pocket, and therefore makes screwing in to the high spots of ceiling mounts easier, it takes up a lot less space in storage and transport, and although I don't know this, it fits into a small envelope for posting which seems to reduce the mailing time. I'm sure there are other pluses for the small size.

One small point of clarification which others may find useful. This item was advertised as "with lamp shade" - as it turns out the "lamp shade" is the clear plastic shell covering the corncob, it is not a lampshade in the traditional usage of the term. Also, while my initial view was that I would have preferred a pearl "lamp shade" rather than a transparent one, I have found that the open appearance of the "corncob" becomes quite appealing once you get used to it.

"I bought a smartphone from Ever Buying. Price was good. Delivery was slow, but what they said. Phone failed after one day. After sales service very poor. Site unclear regarding return address. not sure if I will ever get a response. Be careful of buying from them.
Now had 2 responses from everbuying,both asking if my phone could be fixed by e mail correspondence. Despite asking for a return address they have not as yet provided one. I hope they will do so tomorrow and i will update you further.
Further update
Well have been e mailing Maple and Gina. Maple is my favourite Gina thinks money grows on tress in UK and we all have access to free telecom repair men. Have now exhausted the service teams attempts to assist and have posted back the bloody phone. Will cost £30-£40 to send back. Would be nice if they surrendeed and coughed up for the postage. Would have been better going to apple and buying a stonking big iphone it is likley to be cheaper in the long run. On the positive side both emailers have been pleasant, however considering the cost the should be.
Stay tuned for more updates. Now on a crusade to ensure buyers understand what they are getting into with these chaps. By the time you pay customs, the wonder bargain is no more, if it does not work and you have to fanny about with it then post it back it will cost you more than a bloody Rolls Royce. Update on this review still waiting on replacement phone beginning to wonder if i have been ripped off Come on Maple where is the customer service
