"Outstanding customer service, with dedicated and knowledgeable techs. I was looking to upgrade from a consumer home router to a security appliance for my wife's business. Through my own exhaustive research, I settled on the Sophos SG 100 series, but since I knew nothing about the product, I then needed to find a vendor that would be able to take care of the initial setup. Firewalls.com came through big time with Troy answering all of my questions and recommending the perfect setup for my needs.. an SG 115w and two red 10's for plug and play remote access. I also went with the configuration service that Firewalls.com offers that is completely tailored from scratch to meet your business requirements, for a very reasonable price.
The same day as I made my purchase, I got a call from Alan and Brian to start the custom configuration process. We discussed all of my networking requirements, as well as them recommending various settings to maximize security. I then worked with Alan over email for the next week tweaking the configuration sheet and asking various questions to get everything I could from the device, which I gotta say, is ALOT. Alan and I even was exchanging emails late at night and over the weekend on configuration changes and answering my never ending questions. The final configuration on paper was impressive. At this point, I was starting to feel better about diving in to a new product that had to work 100%, but I hadn't seen any results, so was still a little uncertain.
Once I received the hardware, I hooked up the SG 115w firewall and started checking things out. Working closely with Alan, I verified the wired subnets, multiple wireless zones, VOIP phones, red box VPN, SSL VPN portal, static DHCP, and web filtering. After just a couple hours of checkout and tweaking, everything was running great. I couldn't have been happier. Plus, with Alan explaining the Sophos SG interface, I feel confident administrating the firewall moving forward. Who could ask for more?
Overall, the Sophos SG 115w is an absolutely amazing product that I am thrilled with, but it would not have been possible in my situation without Firewalls.com jumpstarting me from zero to 100. Thank you Firewalls.com!"
