"This company was very informative...I found the parts for my lifestyler crosstrainer that were discontinued..Through their website I found that the replacement cable was now Proform parts.They even have parts pictures so that I could be certain I was purchasing the correct part.I also needed a replacement pulley and purchased the correct one. Iwas happy to repair my gym instead of having to replace my old one.Even the store that I purchased it in didn't have the replacement parts or the info that I needed. They probably wanted me to replace instead of repair..I'm glad I found this company,they also ship extremely fast..if I ever need parts again I'll know where to come..parts fit great and my home gym works like it was new."

"The deck belt I ordered was nearly an inch shorter than the original part and, despite using various strategies to leverage the roller into place, it simply was not going to work.        It had been 8 weeks from ordering the part before I was able to make the time to install it, only to find out that fitness repair parts does not have a 3 month return/exchange policy, as Horizon fitness has.  Had I ordered from Horizon I would not have had an issue.  I have since ordered from them and the belt fit perfectly.  I spoke to Mark as well as Sheila and they informed me that there was nothing that they could do and that there was no other course of appeal.  I even contacted the company president, John Jacobs, but he did not respond to calls or emails. With the company's expressed goal of "right part at the right price" one would think that the company would want to make good on this issue, as opposed to having a first time user have this be their only experience with your company.  "

"I Beware – I ordered parts to repair an exercise bike. After searching their website several different ways for the belt I needed, I was given two different part numbers for the belt that I needed. I ordered the parts and ended up receiving the wrong part. Their attitude is that it is always the customers fault, that you ordered the wrong part and that you need to go through many hoops to even get a partial refund. PLEASE READ THEIR RETURN CONDITIONS BEFORE BUYING FROM THEM, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF READING THEM VERY CLOSELY LATER AND WILL APPRECIATE THIS ADVICE. After completing their requests, they rejected my return, unopened (this return had a valid RMA number). If I was to do this over again, I would not use Fitness Repair Parts and would seriously consider just replacing the Bike, rather then trying to repair it. By the time I overpaid for multiple parts and multiple shipments and the time involved in this process and the repair, I would be 2/3 to the cost of a new bike, which is where I am ultimately going to end up."

"This is an incredibly poor company to do business with. These people have no business being in business.

I ordered some parts for an older StarTrac treadmill. I had a problem with one of the parts ...rechecked my order and their website to make sure I didn't mess something up ...but no; I did right. I submitted a claim report from their website (this is one venue to address problems); this turned out to be a total waste of my time. I phoned them three times: the first was a follow-up to my claim report (yes they had it and I should have an answer ASAP); the second, ten days later, was to follow up on why I hadn't been contacted regarding my claim and previous call (I don't know was the answer but we'll get the "supervisor" involved); the fourth call, two days later, was to a fella named Mark who was able to answer my question and resolve the problem. I got lucky.

I believe FRP is simply a parts clearing house; these people (or most of them) haven't clue one as to what they are selling and are useless and totally incompetent when dealing with problems. If you return something because you get fed up, you will pay a 20% re-stocking fee. In my case, I was not at fault; their website gave faulty information and none of the people I spoke to or who read my claim report could resolve my problem up until the last person I talked with. I spoke with my credit card company and they vowed to support me in getting a full refund if I needed to return the part. When I spoke with Mark (this was on a Friday afternoon) I informed him I had told the last person I spoke with on Wednesday I was giving them until close of business Friday to resolve the problem or I would return the part and they would be dealing with my credit card company's charge back office if I did not get the full refund.

Folks, this is not the way you do business. I had a small problem and it took darn near 2 1/2 weeks and a threat on my part to get an answer. There are many other shops that carry exercise equipment parts and do so for less money. STAY AWAY FROM FitnessRepairParts.com

"This company took weeks to fill an order - AFTER changing the original quoted price and not notifying us. Then, the wheel they sent as a replacement fell apart 35 days after the order was filled. However, they only have a 30-day replacement coverage (even though the wheels should last for years), so they refused to even discuss alternatives. I will NOT buy from them again, and my future machine WILL have parts available from a different vendor."

"BEWARE! Bought new bearings for an elliptical...worked fine for a few times...then I didn't use for a while and the 30 day warranty expired...now after only about 5-6 uses the bearings are shot and they will not replace them! I've sunk $300 into this machine now and cannot even use it. They don't even deserve ONE star on this review in my opinion."

"These crooks sold me a part for my bowflex sport. When the part came, it did not fit. When I explained this to them, they told me they would be happy to refund my money as long as I paid to ship it back to them and pay a 20% restocking fee. Outrageous! They sold me a part that does not fit my machine and are continuing to argue with me about it; they've told me everything from I don't know how to measure to I must have aftermarket parts. Neither of which are true.

Stay far, far away from these clowns. They have no idea what they're selling and will bend you over a barrel when you try to return it.

"Fitness Repair Parts Is a ripoff !! They practice bait and switch sending cheaper parts then ordered. When contacting customer service you get the run around. 1 out of 6 phone calls are returned. Had to file case against them with credit card Co, which ruled in my favor. BUYER BEWARE !!"
