"signing up was easy; however, to cancel or pause service you must call customer service. Contact info is nearly impossible to find, and I found inconsistencies with posted hours of operations. Example open times ranged from (7:30am to 9:30am PST) Quality of product is low, but for $60 it's about what you'd expect. The fit however, is awful, and their exchange process and policy is horrible. Steer clear of Five Four."
"The company tried to charge me for my second month before my first shipment even arrives. I now know why - their clothes ****. Cheap, thin, everything I would NOT want to wear out in public. Wet overprice and cannot recommend. "
"They sent me ugly clothes that are horrible quality. Total rags. Then they wouldn't accept a refund, them they kept charging me months after I cancelled. Criminals. "
"Pretty iffy about everything they've sent me, style wise. Sent me a pair of 30 size pants (that was ripped) that fit more like a 28, requested a 32 exchange, they sent me another 30 though this time it fit like a 30. Next package, had to go through tedious exchange process again, and a week later right as I'm about to sent it back for exchange the rep mentions another item in the package, one I don't recognize the name of. I dig out the packing slip and realize there's a third item listed on the packing slip while there was only two items in the actual package I received. I realized much too late to really do anything about it. I could go on, but the whole two month's I've gotten roped into this have been ridiculous. I initially started it so I could get a discount on something else on their site but I really just should not have gotten involved and just paid the regular price on the item."
"You can't refund when styles are terrible. They provide no customer service and won't let you cancel unless you call within their business hours"
"First of all the clothing is ****. It's not worth $60. You're much better off going to Kohls with that money and getting about double the clothing at the same quality. Secondly, when I cancelled my subscription, they told me that May was my last month and that I was cancelled. Yet sure enough, June rolls around and another $60 package is on its way and another charge to my credit card. I agree with all the reviews, this company is garbage. Also, I think they know that you cancel, yet they "
"First off the quality of the clothing is terrible, the material feels like cardboard and everything was either black or grey. The pants were cut so poorly I really can't even wear them and the shirt was several sizes larger than what I had ordered. They also included a jacket which was really just a think plastic rain coat which looks like something that is given out by the red cross. It is also important to note that Five Four club is a "no refund company" so when you want to cancel an order you will probably have to eat the cost of the current month, unless you talk them into letting you return the merchandise so long as the tags are still on them. Their customer service is also sub par and the only reason this isn't a one star review is the fact that their online chat assistant managed to talk her manager into letting me return the merchandise. Although we will see if I actually receive a refund. Stay away everyone, for what they charge each month you can go to a traditional store and get far better clothing for less money. "
"I was going to try them out but right as I got to the last page I decided to take a look around the website. To my surprise the contact page is just a link to their FAQ's page. They do not give any email or phone numbers to call. At least, they do not make it very clear. Then because I am a larger then average bear. I decided to stop and think to myself "Why are there no inseam sized or lengths?". For this to be truly custom clothing you have to have those measurements. That alone made my decision. I am 6'7 and have long arms and legs so I knew just ordering with those random sizes was not going to cut it. After more research I discovered they only go up to 34". Well I am a 36" so I guess I am cut out from this website. Also, glad I read the reviews on here cuz it really saved me a lot of wasted time and money. BEWARE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE WEBSITE. IT IS VERY VAGUE AND AFTER LOOKING CLOSELY THE CLOTHES LOOK PRETTY CHEAP"
"Every package sent contained gray clothing. Gray pants, gray shirt, gray socks. Good Grief. Sizing is a joke. I wear size 34 pants. The 34s they sent were HUGE. I measured them and they were over 36-inches. When I contacted customer support, they linked me to their size chart. Sure enough, size 34 pants are really 36. 33 are closer to 34. Why?? And inseams are only about 3 different options and you don't get to pick - it is based on the waist size only. Good luck with an exchange. Major headache. You must ship back and they have to receive before they will ship your replacement. Oh, and they won't notify you when the exchange shipment is sent out. Seems the return system is not connected to the exchange system. What?? With all these hassles, they gave me a $10 statement credit. When I tried to cancel they offered the next shipment for $29. I'm thinking I should get for $19. NOPE, $29 deal overrides any other credit on my account. Ok, just cancel the entire thing. Close my account. I'm done.
The clothes are very slim fitting. If you are not pencil thin, the shirts will be skin tight. Not my style. The quality is very low. Definitely NOT $120 worth of clothes for $60 each month. Maybe $60 as a stretch and not worth all the exchange hassles if you have any sizing issues. Stay away!!"
"Clothes are poor quality and you can't send anything back. There isn't a way to cancel the service. When you contact their customer service via the website and ask to cancel they say they can't do it and have to call a number during limited hours. "
"Had a terrible customer service experience. They messed up two of my orders. One of my orders never came and the other came with "refund" written in pencil on the receipt and no explanation or follow up as to why it was this way.
After talking to support, I asked for a month free as a reprieve from these issues and they refused. Even the supervisor couldn't provide this.
Very disappointed."
"There is no pause or cancel option on the website.
Check out this FAQ page excerpt about pausing:
"Members must contact our Member Experience team, we will then update the member’s account applying a pause to their upcoming package(s) and billing cycle(s) for the requested months. Members can pause for a one to three month period. When a pause ends, a member’s new month will automatically renew and they will be charged."
Check out this service agreement excerpt about cancelling:
"IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP BY CALLING ONE OF OUR MEMBER EXPERIENCE REPRESENTATIVES MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BY TELEPHONE AT 1-***-***-**** BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00 AM PST TO 5:00PM PST OR BY LIVE CHAT BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30AM PST TO 5:00PM PST ON OR BEFORE THE 10th DAY OF THE MONTH."
Also, their live chat wasn't "live", it was an email form that I had to fill out. Hopefully they get back to me and actually cancel my account. The clothes were okay, but they definitely weren't worth this."
"Horrible Service and Products! My Jeans fell about throughout the day! I cancelled my account 2 months ago and came home to a new package and $60 stolen from my bank account. I will not be recommending them to ANYone EVER."
"They sent me pants that were too long and when I contact customer service, they recommended "you can either cuff the bottoms of your pants to style it out or you can take your pants to a local tailor." Yes, I think this is a great idea to pay a service to customize your clothes and not even carry the appropriate sizes so they can maximize their inventory levels and reduce their overall expenses of carrying different sizes. "
"Bad style choices was my experience. The material is very thin and in choosing the classic style I received items that could not be called classic. When talking to customer service about the experience they were defensive and not helpful. Waste of money as I will end up donating the clothes."
