I want to start off by saying that I gave this company EVERY chance to keep their money and to help me get my package. Fortunately for me, I ordered through PayPal. I was able to dispute my purchase and get a full refund.

I placed my order in the middle of November, 2012. I knew it was shipping internationally so I didn't expect to get my products quickly, or even by Christmas for that matter. 7 days after I placed my order, my order status had not changed. I opened a support ticket with the site, it took them about a day to reply back. They needed me to verify my shipping address. I protested, saying my shipping address was on the order, but for the sake of getting the order going, I submitted my shipping address again through the support ticket. Finally, the order shipped on the 26th of Nov (10 days after I ordered it).

About a week after the package had shipped, the tracking site the site provided no longer existed. I thought maybe the site had just gone down for a bit, but after 3 days of it being down I contacted FocalPrice again. They gave me an alternative website to use to track my package.

According to the new site, on the 29th of Nov, the status of the package stated that it had been opened at Beijing International. This of course concerned me, so I reopened my support ticket asking for clarification on this tracking status. They told me everything was fine, and just to give it a few days for the package to ship.

I waited two more weeks before contacting them again, since the status had not changed. I asked them to look into the situation, because the status had not mentioned anything about leaving Beijing, and the status seemed to imply the packaged was opened (for inspection maybe?). Again, they asked me to wait.

Shortly after Christmas, I opened a dispute with PayPal (45 days from order to open a dispute). I worked with another FocalPrice.com employee through the PayPal resolution center. I explained my situation, what steps I had already taken through the site's support system, and asked if they could look into the status of the package. They, of course, asked me to wait a little longer for the package to arrive.

14 days after opening a dispute, I escalated it to a claim with PayPal. (You have 15 days to resolve a dispute, or to ask PayPal to resolve it for you). Once PayPal got involved, it was a done deal. They asked for some information from FocalPrice about the shipping information. After they verified the package was stuck in Beijing, they gave me a full refund.

So all in all, a 2 month process. The last I checked the tracking number, it was still stuck at Beijing International. I see some reviews that state their customer service was nice and friendly (which they were), but I'd like to add worthless to that description. There was a problem with the package before it ever left their country and they refused to look into it.

I, personally, will never attempt to order something from this site again.

"Hi. I wanted to add a positive review. I ordered a 7 inch tablet Dec. 22, 2012 for $56.00 with free shipping. It was estimated to be delivered by Jan. 11, 2013. I decided to check on it the first week in January and found this site with horrible reviews. Needless to say it put me in panic mode. I did live chat on the FocalPrice site and they assured me it was on the way. I received it today (Jan. 9, 2013) and couldnt be more pleased with the tablet. It seems to be well made, arrived shipped well protected in original box and was already charged. I was online via wifi in a matter of minutes.
The panic was for nothing. I just had to be patient. I would definitely order from them again. This tablet is well worth %56.00. Just wanted to add a positive experience. Hope it helps!

"NEVER USE THIS SITE! I understand that they were shipping internationally, so I expected some time to receive my items, but not more than a MONTH! Not only does shipping take way too long, they'll probably send you the wrong item...and you'll have to pay return shipping all the way back to China. And don't try to contact them for an exchange or refund, cause they just try to CONVINCE you that the item you receive is "just as nice". I don't know what world they are living in over there, but customer service usually means the customer is mostly right - especially when you send them the wrong item and admit to it. I would never use this site again and if I were you, I'd spend the extra $5-10 for ANY OTHER COMPANY. It's not worth the hassle of dealing with condescension and pathetic excuses for trying to resolve an issue where THEY are at fault."

"FocalPrice.com is the worst store ive ordered from. I ordered an icoo dual core 7" tablet for 91.67 FocalPrice.com listed the item as in stock. I purchased the item and chose airmail which stated my delivery time to be between 15-25 days. First my item took 5 days to ship out. The excuse from FC was that the item was not in stock and they were restocking it. 2nd When they finally did ship the item i got a tracking number that does not work and an email telling me it would take 45+ days untill my item arrives. Another lie from focal price. If i had know i woulda used Dhl. I will never order from this site again. I warn everyone check the reviews from other sites not FocalPrice reviews. They give people coupons so they can get good reviews."

"This site is a SCAM. Stay away from it, they took money from my account and THEN asked me to scan my card front and back to send them pictures of it. Why would they take the money out and THEN ask me to scan it? When I asked them to cancel my order they claim the process had started via PayPal, which I never use. How has the process started when I don't have a PayPal account? I have contacted them every day and receive only broken english excuses, the last line from them said "Please scan your card, it's okay" (in broken english though). "I placed my order 11/21/2012, and have not receive my product. I made call to China, and the line is always busy. I wrote email about the order, and did not receive any return email. Focalprice.com track order did not show status, and the order ID just showed "Paid and Unpack". It cost me $50.69 but get nothing. Do not do business with this company. I spent ~$50 to learn that it is a Chinese company, and until you figure out where the reseller is, do not place order. Their review is also fake."
