"Made a purchase for a BG-E4 battery grip for a Canon 5d. Was advised on both the product home page and the invoice that I ordered a USA warrantied product (which also had a $10 Rebate). When the product arrived, it had an international (gray market) warranty card which made the rebate invalid. It also did not have a copy of a packing slip or an invoice inside the box. I will not deal with them again."

I was very suprised when the camera arrived via UPS in 5 days. I was very happy with such a quick shipment, until I realized the camera was white, not silver (the color was confirmed as silver in the order confirmation email as well). After reading the other reviews on here about troubled returns, we have decided to keep the white camera instead of trying to exchange it for the silver color we originally requested. "I ordered a Canon SD630 from them because they were the lowest price that I found on pricegrabber.com. Their website was easy to navigate and use, and their contact information (along with business hours) easy to find. I received an order confirmation email without any problems but four days later, when I still hadn't received a shipment confirmation with a tracking number, I checked the website which said that my order had already shipped. I emailed customer service three times (within a period of 4 days) requesting a tracking number; the first time I was told that I would receive it by the end of the day (which I didn't), the second time I was completely ignored, and finally the third email was replied to with a tracking number which stated that my package was already out for delivery.
I wanted to save a couple bucks so I didn't buy it off of Amazon, where I get free 2-day shipping with the Amazon Prime trial... but I should have just for peace of mind in knowing where my package was. The customer service reps at Digital Foto Club were very polite and helpful, and usually emailed me back the same day (except for the time I was ignored). Their prices are good and I will probably buy from them again-- I just didn't like that I never received a shipment confirmation email and therefore never knew where my camera was.
This might just be a small problem for some, or not a concern at all... but I like to know where my packages are when I order them off the Internet just for my own peace of mind."

"I saw their AD on the net and decided to order a Grip for my Canon 5D. They advertised free shipping for a USA model of the grip. They even put a link to download the $10 rebate form. I decided to call them to make sure the web info. was correct. Someone on the phone confirmed the price, the free shipping and the fact that is was a USA model.
So far so good. I went ahead and placed the order on-line. This is where it started getting screwy. Upon checkout they mysteriously added shipping charges to my order. There goes the free shipping. I had to call them and argue with them over removing the charges. They did do that. So I am glad I called.
Surprise number two. The item arrived and it is Gray Market. How do you know? For people who are not familiar with this stuff. Canon warranty specifically says USA warranty on the Product Registration Form. The one they sent me has the International Warranty. The unit works but Canon does not honor rebates for Gray Market merchandise. I am not even going to bother sending the paper work to Canon. And certainly $10 is not worth my time to argue with the merchant. Would Canon USA repair the unit if it need repair work? I am not sure about that one.
Would I do business with this company again? Not likely. This was a relatively small purchase and a good lesson which is to pay a little more and avoid surprises and headaches."
