"I purchased a SONY DCR-HC90 digital camcorder from Digitalfoto.com, an online store. Their website was easy to read and understand and the product description was thorough. The purchase price was excellent, beating the closest competitor by about $250.00. Of course their were some companies out there even lower (like A&M Photo World), but they have a pitiful track record for deceiving and being a bunch of con-artists. I received my camcorder from Digitalfoto yesterday(the 8th) and the packaging, shipping was great. I have always been a little leary about purchasing electronics online because you never know if the company really exists or if your going to get stuck with a faulty product, but thanks to Resellerratings.com I was able to locate Digitalfoto.com who had a great review rating. I will be making future purchases from them. "
"On March 20th I ordered a Hitachi MD2GBA 2GB MicroDrive 3K4 with Travel Kit (Item MD2GBA). According to their web site it was in stock.
The picture on their website showed Hitachi's MD2GBA box, including Hitachi's 2 GB Microdrive and original PCMCIA card in ONE HITACHI original product package.
On March 23rd the item was finally shipped. On March 25th I received a package with only Hitachi's 2 GB MD, (product: Hitachi Microdrive 2GB, Blister Package MD2GB/BP). The invoice said the PCMCIA they want to sell m(a third party generic, not the original Hitachi part I ordered) is still on back order. This is NOT THE PRODUCT I ORDERED.
I only bought from them because I WANT THE ORIGINAL HITACHI PCMCIA CARD, not a generic. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
I called on 3/28 and spoke to a Mrs Marcia Rogers. She was very unwilling to cooperate, and said that they don't sell the original package. But that's what I ordered!! It was on their web site, and it was on the confirmation email I got from them (which I still have, to prove it)!! She is only willing to issue a refund, but I need them to pay the shipping costs too, since they are trying to sell me a product that I DID NOT ORDER, a generic instead of a brand product. This is a scam. Not only do I want my $131.40 back, I also want them to pay for shipping the wrong items back to them. An apology would also be nice. she was pretty rude.

"Purchased a Dig. Camera Dimage A200 along with spare batteries and memory card via phone. The customer service agent rushed through the order and inputed the wrong product code (540MB card at 70$ instead of 1Gig at 90$, even if we reviewed the order together) . Because Digitalphoto do not send order confirmation, I did not find our that the wrong card had been shipped until received.
I called and another agent reviewed the files and said that it must have been my mistake and nothing could be done, unless I sent the product back AT MY COST. Due to the hassle and cost involved, I decided not to pursue the issue further but have kept a sour taste of my transaction with Digitalphoto, despite the prompt delivery and good state of the material delivered.
I believe that order confirmation should be given, it is a small cost and would greatly improve satisfaction by preventing that type of mistake (I sincerly hope it was an honest mistake) "

I am an international buyer who, lol and behold, happened to see an offer on a Digital Rebel 300D with lense from this company which was some of the lowest price in the online Market! I originally thought that "hey, this is just another Brooklyn store playing bait-and-switch tactic", but out of curiosity I decided to try their customer support, as most of the time the customer support is a good indication what is a company like. To my surprise, their customer surprise is excellent and efficient, no kidding. They replied my email within 6 business hours even though their website said 48 hours! I even had a record that they responded to my email an hour I emailed them back (Mind you, I'm emailing from outside the US - emails take time to arrive.) I did everything online - quote, questions, confirmation, ordering, and eventually wire-transfer the actual amount needed. Here I did a very stupid thing - I forgot to ask for my invoice first, but guess what? They did not cheat on me and took the money. They never asked for my telephone number or asked me to confirm their sales (which a lot of stores selling under cheap price often does, with some nasty surprise in store)- in fact, I ran into some trouble with Fedex because they (D F C) did not ask for my telephone number and included it in my delivery profile! The only problem I have with them is that they did not give me a clear indication of which company they were sending my product (they said they were sending via UPS but it ended up beign Fedex), but it only took a polite email to rectify things, not a hassle at all. In my opinion, their customer service was top-notch, to a point I decided to round my payment to the nearest tenth just to give them a very small tip. Their service is worth every dollar I've paid them. Next time I need a digital camera, I'll know who to ask. Cheers. "
"I ordered a camera body very early in the morning on Tuesday. I GOT IT THURSDAY! I didn't have to 'call in my order' like I did with my hellish experience with ExpressCameras.com. I placed it over the internet and everything went perfect. No one tried to sell me anything extra, the warranty card was with the box, all accessories were included, and the price couldn't be beat.

"This is the third camera I have purchased from Focus Camera. Being a Canon faithful, the selection is always complete and the pricing is very competetive. In this case, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel was $100 cheaper than I had found it anywhere else. I was also able to pick up the accessories I needed to make my wife's birthday package complete.
And as is usually the case, I waited until the last minute to make my purchase. The order shipped on the same day it was placed and I had it in time for the birthday party.

"I bought a Hoover Windtunnel Canister Vac from Focus Camera. I'm impressed with the product and the vendor; both are highly recommended. I can't believe the price...Focus beats anybody else I could find by about $30. I called to find out if the vac was reconditioned because the price was so low, but the rep said it was brand new, and that they sell on high volume and low margin. He took my order over the phone and they shipped it within 24 hours. My Windtunnel vac arrived about a week later (UPS ground from New York to Texas), and I'm very pleased with it. I bought a Windtunnel canister because a lady I know who owns a housecleaning business recommended it to me. It works great on carpet and has all the attachments I need. Forget the upright vac; only a canister can clean under your couch and around ceiling air vents, and uprights are troublesome on hard floors (especially under your dining table and chairs). The bagless thing is only a gimmick, so get one with a bag. Great experience all around. Thanks!"
