"I bought some accy,s for my newly purchased Canon GL2 MiniDV that I had purchased at another on line
retailer due to price. I recieved all items quickly but the new battery was on back order. I recieved a email a couple of days later stating that the battery had been shipped and recieved via postal service. I recieved it a couple of days later. All items were in factory containers and were well packed. Later I ordered a couple of other accys and recieved one of the items on time. The only problem that I had in both cases was that I did not know that one of the items was back ordered until I recieved the shipment. As of now I still do not know the status of one of my backorders."

"I tried to order an item online, but was not able to specify the shipping method. The checkout process automatically included a relatively expensive (and unnecessrily quick) shipping method, but didn't include any means of changing it. I cancelled the online order and instead called the toll free number. The sales representative speculated that the glitch was due ot some work they had been doing on the Web site. He cheerfully took the order and provided a substantially less expensive shipping option. Even so, the item arrived within two days -- the same as it would have if I had chosen the more expensive option on the Web site! Can't complain about that.

Overall my experience was quite satisfactory and I don't see a reason to downgrade because of what was (presumably) a transient problem on the Web site."

"Ordered a Coolpix 4500 on a Sunday and it arrived Thursday--not bad for an order to Canada! Shipping cost was $39.95 which seemed a bit high at the time, but turned out to be very competitive (one shipper wanted $80). The only "surprise” was not finding a Nikon warrantee card, but on rereading the Web description, I found it came with "Our 1 year warranty.” A quick call to customer service confirmed the seller had a 1 year warranty (just keep the invoice and order numbers) and that as an export model, there was no warrantee from Nikon. Otherwise the camera arrived as advertised: brand new with all the listed accessories. So far the camera shows no signs of defects or problems. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the overall cost with extra charges included was less than anything else I could find, even on e-bay. I would not hesitate to order from this company again."

"I purchased the Nikon D70 w/18-70mm lens kit, the Nikon 80-400mm VR zoom lens and some other accessories. Everything was in stock as shown on the website, and shipped & was delivered promptly. There was a defect with the image sensor in the camera that required Nikon's direct attention. The seller was very helpful in determining that and putting me in touch with Nikon. Having decided on the Panasonic GS400 PAL version Streetprices showed me exactly what I needed to see, A&M Photo world selling for $150 less then any other dealer. "I saw the Canon EOS 1Ds was supposedly in stock at this store with free shipping. When I clicked on shipping all rates, from ground to next day air, were shown as $0.00. I then called to ask if the camera really was in stock (some sites lie). I was assured it was in stock, so I asked if next day shipping really was free (I.E. If it was in stock and next day delivery was available, I could have the camera on Thurday or Friday)? They stated not only was next day shipping not free but ground shipping wasn't free either ($48) and it was a typo. Perhaps this was because I showed no interest in expensive memory or perhaps it really isn't in stock."
