"The customer service reps are the rudest and most unresponsive group I have ever dealt with! I wish I would have read more reviews on this company before placing an order. I was insulted, left on hold, hung up on, lied to and never got answers to simple requests. I was told (and paid for 2 day express shipping) that the purchase would be shipping that afternoon. Two days later, I received an tracking number and it had just left with 3 day select service. NO one there could tell me why. I requested speaking to a manager and could not get a number or extension to talk to another person, other than the rude rep . I spoke with many reps, trying to get specific details on my purchase and they all ended up talking over and taking offense at being questioned. I would suggest to any one interested in products listed on this website to pay a few more dollars to get the item elsewhere. I work customer service and would never be able to keep my job if I said some of the comments that were made to me! I promise to tell everyone I can about the nasty service I received!"

I buy many items off the internet with no problmes but I finally got caught by a bad one.
I ordered a caiso digital camera and camera case with three day delivery.
The first bad sign was the email I got the next day telling me to call to confirm the order.
I called and the salesman told me the battery with the camera was only good for 15 min (I knew this was a lie), I said no to the battery. Then he tried to sell me an extra case, and a warranty. I just kept saying no.
Well the camera arrived but they sent me a different case. I ordered a leather casio case and they sent one of those black nylon cases you get at WalMart for $7.00.
I called up to ask for the right case and he told me they sent me a better case for no extra charge. When I said I wanted the one I ordered he kept changing his story, when I kept insisting they kept switching me from person to person. Each had a different story: it was a better case, the case I got was worth $89, the case I ordered was not in stock so they sent this one.
They said I could return at a 15% stock charge, and on and on and on.
I'm going to file a dispute with American Express."
"Buyer beware!! Ordered the panasonic fz8 online from these scam artists. Of course got the usual call back upselling me to a better battery(since the one that comes with it only lasts 20 minutes according to my rep)so I ordered the extra battery & a 1gb memory card which I was also pressured into pushing the cost up 157.00 more w/shipping (3-5 days). I keep getting emails regarding shipping & credit card verification. AT this point I investigate further & realize how much I'm being overcharged & that the original battery that comes w/ this camera is more than sufficient. So I email them 3 seperate times in response to their emai credit card verification w/ no response from them. So I call & speak w/ the man who tells me he runs this orgainization & that it is too late that this order has already been processed???(How can this be when they still need credit card verification? Anyhow I told him I would simply return it then when it arrives. He said I had 10 days to decide after arrival. Finally arrives May 29 (for 3-5 day shipping charges). Included is a case that does not fit this camera & no extra battery. The only battery in this case is the original battery. I call them immediately & they tell they have already put in a longer life battery. This is absurd because this is the original battery that comes in this box. I said at the very least there should have been two batteries in here since the salesman told me it is nice to have 2 so you can at least be charging one before the other goes out. I call them & speak to Alex in customer service who is willing to send me another battery if I pay for shipping. Why should I when it was supposed to be in her in the first place (& a very expensive battery at that). This company is so unscrupulous. Total bait & switch. What's really amazing is how they are allowed to continue to operate. I'd like to send it all back but am afraid that I will never get credited in full do to their re-stocking fee & loss of shipment fee. Call me stuck w/ it. "

After placing order I received a phone call and eight e-mails were in my box to call them. "Victor" told me information that I knew to be false about battery and charger that came with the camera. I regret not telling him to cancel my order - instead I said that I only wanted the products that I had ordered. The MS saving kit was bait and switch. I called to say that I hadn't received the full-size tripod, vidpro camera case, or cleaning system. The representative tried to pass the free "starter kit" that came with order as the camera case, cleaning kit... that was suppose to come with $109 accessory kit that I ordered. I'm disputing the fee with my credit card company. What a terrible company to deal with - stay CLEAR, or you'll be sorry!"

"I ordered a 58" plasma TV from fotoconnection because of their incredibly low price. After I ordered it I looked at their seller ratings and got scared, they had access to 4K of my money.
I did get the TV eventually at the price I agreed upon but not without any headache.
1) They charge a Non-advertised shipping insurance
2) They charge the card before the item ships, in my case 3 days before.
3) They lied to me about WHEN the item had shipped.
4) They told me I would get a free HD DVD player with my order and none came.
5) They told me the TV was in stock when it wasn't.
6) The phone staff is rude and dismissive.
On the plus side:
1) I got a great deal on the tv, even after adding the shipping insurance.
2) The shipping was fast 3 days to Florida.
So in total, I saved about 1000 dollars on this TV but went through 2 weeks of worry over whether I had been ripped off or not.

"This company is a scam! After placing my order for a digital canon rebel camera package I recieved an e-mail that I needed to call and confirm the order before it could be shipped. When I called they made it sound like they needed to substitute a different lense than what I had ordered but were actually going to charge me an extra $300.00. They then asked which battery I wanted sent with the camera making it sound like I had a choice with what was included. This was actually going to cost an extra $100 or $200 depending on the one I chose. There really was a battery included at no cost. I told them I only wanted what I had ordered and no more and they said I would recieve it within 2 days. The next day I recieved another e-mail saying again that I needed to call to confirm the order. I responded by e-mail. The following day they called me to again confirm the order and said the camera was out of stock and would be on backorder. That I really needed to substitute the "american model" since I had ordered the foreign model. They said my camera did not come with a battery, charger, or warrenty even though it clearly stated on their website that it did. Again, they were wanting to charge me now $900 for the "upgraded" camera instead of the $599 of my original order. I ended up cancelling the order since they were unwilling to send the original product and I hope this will be the end of it."
"My experience is consitent with all the other users reviews. This company is unethical, tried to sell me a "battery pack" even though the camera takes "AA" batteries. Said I ordered the "UK" version of the camera, and the USA version would be $30 extra, but would have the manufacturers warranty vs. their "usa warranty". Bottom line: don't order from this company or unknown companies online. It costs much less in headaches and money if you just go with the well known companies. "

"I have never ordered from a more dishonest company. I ordered a Nikon camera with two Nikon lenses. I got a package deal. When the stuff came UPS, one of the lenses was not a Nikon lens. After doing a search I found that this lens is about half the price. Bait and Switch!
I called the company and they responded to my questions about how this could be made right, with rude comments. The sales person told me that FotoConnection does not care about customer service or satisfaction but only wants to squeeze as much money out of each deal as possible.
I hope that no one uses this company and that they go out of business soon. They are pirates.

"I placed an order of 2 Panasonic P2 8GB cards on April 4th 2007. The inventory status of the system showed “in stock”, I ordered the cards with overnight delivery because of the urgency of demand.
I received a confirmation of the order the same day. On April 5th I received a verification mail and called the referred number. Somebody explained that the order is not yet ready for shipment with no reason. I told the person that I dont need the cards if they will not ship today.
On April 13th I received a shipping notice with a tracking number that the cards will be shipped via UPS and arrive after April 20th. On April 14th you charged my credit card with an amount of $2,318.00.
On April 15th I informed you that due to the late delivery I will not accept the order anymore and requested a refund. I sent all this communication via fax and registered mail. I have never received any confirmation, mail, call or fax.
On April April 26 I received an email confirmation that they received the cards under RMA # 10745 and that the refund can take 10 – 14 days.
No communication since then. I did receive however a payment of $1,970.30 on May 11 2007 which does not match the amount due. I gave them a final notice and will sue them if they will not refund the full amount."
