"I ordered a Panasonic Lumix FX07 digital camera for $209 + $16 shipping and handling from FotoConnection. I received a confirmation email, and then a day later another email requiring me to call and confirm. When I did so, the sales person told me it only comes with a 15-minute battery and I would have to upgrade! When I told him I just wanted the camera, he became combative and refused to sell the camera at the advertised price. After I inquired I was told that he was the supervisor and there was no one higher up for me to talk to. I didn't have time to continue arguing; so I called the next day and was then told that they didn't have the camera in stock since I ordered the "import" model (which as far as I know does not exist) and it would be in after a week or so. After reading about the unscrupulous business practices of this company, I asked them to please cancel my order. Basically they are doing a bait-and-switch scam and trying to get buyers to bundle orders with (likely unneeded) accessories."
"My salesmen was Tom as with all the other post here I made a call to them to confirm my order. My purchase was a Coolpix S3 (black) and Coolpix S3 (red). The S3 is better then the P3 in my opinion. Tom asked me if i wanted to purchase additional batterys I told him no but he insisted that if i would want it later that it would cost me more, after several attempts he moved on to warranty which i did purchase because he gave me a good deal on it. The sales tactics are similar to walking in to a brick and mortar store and sales man will offer you a million things and ofcourse its up to you wether you want it or not. He was a nice gentelman and although he offered me a million different accesories he eventually gave me a $5 coupon of my order becaue i told him he was annoying lol. all in all the "confirmation call" saved me $5 and lasted 10 minutes, not a bad deal :). Aside from that i upgraded my shipping to overnight because i could wait to see my new camera. I didnt get it the next day bvecause it was 6.00 when i put in the order. I received it the day after. It was packaged ver well and actually took me several minutes to get to the actual box of the camera. But i was glad because there was no damage to the outer box from shipping. It arrived along with the other camera and I couldnt be happier. I received a call from tom a few days later asking me if I wanted any additional accesories, I said no he then gave me a %15 off coupon if i did decide to make any future purchases, good men. I am probably gonna purchase a projection from them in the comming week. I also ordered a camera case the day after but I didnt receive it yet because it is on back order. But tom said I should get it early this week. So im waiting now. The website is pretty cheap. I researched for these cameras for a long time and they had the lowest price. Even after shipping and the warranty i ended up paying less then on amazon. Althoug i would get it cheaper on ebay it would of probably be refurbished."
"I ordered a microwave from them, received it 2 days later. I didnt realize when i ordered that it was black so I called them to exchannge it. I spoke with John he was very helpful he gave me an rma number and I send it back. They paid for the shipping back. And 2 days later I received the white microwave. This guys are pretty good. No complaints. Although I dont seem to understnad all these other complaints agaisnt them. Anyway overall I am satisfied and the sale went smoothly. Aside from them I purchased a 5 year warranty which costs $400.00 for only $40.00 so they have some nice offers. "
"I placed an order for cameras and I was called to suggestive sale a wall adapter. I agreed to the wall adapter and what I recieved was a battery charger. Sure it says that on the confirmation page; regardless the company was not willing to take the battery chargers back. Customer service could not understand the difference between a wall adapter and a battery charger. "
"Ordered a Cannon PowerShot camera on the 8th. Received an email on the 12th to call during very specific times and confirm order which was when they tried to sell me other items. I declined and the confirmed order. Never once did they mention my order was for an "international camera". Emailed customer service on the 21st asking for delivery date - return email said to contact customer service since the ticket was "closed". Called on 4/23 and was first told this was an "international" order and it was backordered for 3-4 weeks. I asked them to cancel the order since I need it before then. Tried to sell me a "US" camera, (which is what my printout from their site shows my camera to be). Asked again to cancel and asked for a cancellation number. Was told I would receive a cancellation email. I explained I did not want to be charged for anything since my item was never sent and according to them, was even on backorder. Called credit card company to alert them of the problem. Looks like I'm shopping at Best Buy or some local brick and morter store! Wish I had found this site earlier."

"As many others have already stated, this company is FRAUDULENT! On March 15 I ordered a camera from their website, which showed it to be in stock. A rep contacted me a couple days later to "confirm" the order. At that time he attempted to upsell me equipment I did not need, nor wanted. I had to insistently decline several times. He then stated I would receive an email confirmation with the inv and shpmnt tracking #s. No such email came. I waited more than 10 bz days (approx March 28) for delivery. No delivery came.
I called their customer svc # and was told the item was out of stock and would "ship in maybe 2 days." I emailed their cust svc dept and demanded my order be cancelled, and that I be issued a cancellation number. On March 28 I received a "form" email back stating, "Your item is on backorder. We apologize for the inconvenience. Your order has not been billed. We will ship and bill your order as soon as the item comes in. Thank You." They still show my order as "Open", disregarding my request for cancellation.
I sent another email on April 18, again demanding they cancel and issue a cancellation number. This company should be put out of business!!! They are absolutely the worst representation of internet selling, and do all other vendors a HUGE disservice by remaining in existance under any name - of which, unfortunately, they have more than one."
"Beware! Bait-and-switch! They quoted $309 for a camera I purchased online. Then they required me to call them back, wait on hold for 10 minutes, and then would not sell me the camera for that price. Now the price is fifty dollars more, I've wasted about 30 minutes on these guys, and there are YET MORE STEPS.
After they get to dick me around on the phone, upsell me nine ways from Sunday, and over-charge me, they send you an email with your order. Mine is wrong. Wrong price, wrong stuff. Or rather, they threw in extra stuff I didn't want, for, I assume, boku bucks!
After calling them back, it's more of the same, except a longer wait on hold. Who knows what I'll be getting, or what I'll be charged.
All I know is I regret ever placing an order with them, and I know I'm going to have to spend hours on the phone with my credit card company "unscamming" my account.

When I told him I wasn't interested, he said that the unit was no longer in stock for the price that I had purchased it for. These people are a bunch of thieves. Don't buy from them. "TOTAL JERKS AND FRAUDS.I ordered a Kodak digital camera on 4/7/07. I received an email saying I needed to call to "confirm" my order. I spoke with "Tom" on 4/13/07. He tried to get me to buy a memory card and batteries and I told him I was not interested. Today I came across this website and read all of the negative reviews.I called "Tom" to cancel and was sexually harrassed.I yelled many explitives at him and told him to just cancel my order and don't F--- with me because he doesn't know who he is dealing with. Hopefully my card will not be charged but I have alredy alerted them just in case. My order has not shipped yet and I am hoping he really does cancel my order but I am not convinced he will do so. I ordered 3 pentax optio w30 7 megapixel digital cameras with the following accesories. 3 Godigi 2GB elite super extreme high speed secure digital memory card rated at 150x speed and 3 extra Pentax D-LI63 litium batteries 740mAh. Foto Connections confirmed my exact order for shipment and payment.
Surprise, surprise! When I received my order Foto Connection sent me 3 Silcon Power 2GB Ultima 45x memory cards instead of the Godigi 2GB elite super extreme 150x cards I ordered & paid top dollar for.
Foto Connection also sent me 3 olympus replacement battery packs BP-lI40B-R 700mAh instead of the Pentax D-LI63 Lithium 740mAh which I ordered and paid top dollar for.
When I called Foto Connection to tell them that they had shipped the wrong items the real nightmare began. They used every ridiculous excuse possible to justify what they sent. Foto Connection put White stickers over the product
desricption so I could not see what they sent
until I opened the packages for one of the cameras. They cleverly placed white stickers over the products Id numbers and then "Re-labled The Products With Their Own Bogus Fraudulant Stickers" which supposedly represented what I ordered.
When I insisited that what I had received was not what I ordered They then said I could Return the product but there would be a 25% restocking fee. I asked them to exchange the product I recieved and send me the items I ordered. They said they couldn't, but that they would send me something comparable. When I asked what I would receive in exchange they refused to tell me. When I asked why I should pay the fee for their decietful errors they said that was their policy.??? I now know that meant "your screwed Mr. Reiss"
I asked them to send me the correct products I ordered which they confirmed to me in written e-mail. They then said we have'nt carried Godigi products in over 6 months and they flat out refused to send me the products I ordered and then said "just send the wrong product back" we will only charge you 25% re-stocking fee.
I asked them for a RMA # to return the product. The scam continued. I was instructed to go to the internet to get an RMA request form so I could Apply for the RMA number which would only be issued at their discretion. Foto Connection only allows 14 days for any returns at a 25% restocking charge even though they send fraudlant
items. Wow!!! After 14 days your out of luck unless your willing to pay shipping back plus 25% restocking cause they used the old "Bait,Switch and Swindle" scam to deceive the customer.
