"I have two regular full spectrum solutions lamps...A floor lamp that I use at my treadmill and a desktop lamp that I use on cloudy mornings when I am doing seat work. I have had these lamps for several years and have been very pleased with them. I bought them to help me overcome Seasonal Affective Disorder and do believe that they have been helpful with that. I also use them when I need to see small things and they always come to my aid! I highly recommend these lamps. They've never given me a minute's trouble and the light from them is awesome. Additionally, I have one of the sunrise lamps. I never could figure out how to make it work properly and unfortunately couldn't return it because the time period to return it had expired by the time I gave up on getting it to work."

(Proprietary light bulb).

Surprise, it wasn't the bulb, it was the lamp ballast! (another $69). Of course, the ballast was out of warranty. Had to disassemble the lamp and ship ballast back to FSS for replacement...why? "Oh, we need the electrical connections!"

It's a LAMP, for crying out loud. One of the worst purchases I have ever made. When the new bulb and/or ballast eventually goes out, I won't even give it to charity. "
