"After purchasing a $4,000 living rm set and told delivery in 6-8 weeks, we had to wait for two weeks to know if it is 6 or 8 weeks. Then, we were told that the factory ran out of the material which won't arrive for another month. Subsequently, and for another week we tried repeatedly to get a definite delivery date or even a narrow window but got the big business usual catch 22. When we finally took up the snafu with the big guy, we got a call that the furniture won't available for 2 months. We canceled the order, having lost this time already, a 2-hr drive to High Point and the wasted time and costs and effort. This reflects an inefficient, unfriendly and careless corporate culture. We were left very disappointed with Furnitureland South. "
"My salesperson was fantastic!!! The best!! However the company does a very poor job standing behind their high end product. They are not helpful at all in customer service in handling resolution when they sale a product that is subpar. "

"Purchased 2 $1350 FlexSteel recliners from Furnatureland South (FLS). One of them broke within 2 hours of delivery--a major structural break. The other's electrical stopped functioning within two weeks of delivery. So after waiting 6 weeks for these "top end" recliners, both sat empty in my living room.
"Fortunately" the service company took nearly 3 weeks to get here and was so could service both.
Unfortunately, the structural repair requires ordering a whole new back (I believe), likely from China, and lord knows when the part and service will make it here.
These are BRAND NEW recliners, two of the 3 pieces of furniture in my living room, and my wife and I are very unhappy with the situation.
Furnatureland South has been as helpful as they probably can, though I should probably have insisted that they replace the one recliner instead of repairing it. But the repair hasn't happened yet and this saga isn't over."
