When I contacted GameOutfitter about my order, they responded the same day, which is a great indication of quality customer service. My only complaint was that I could not easily understand the status of my purchase. (The item I purchased was classified as "Pre-Order", which means it would be shipped on a first come first serve basis.) I do not remember a "definition" of "Pre-Order" being posted on the page of the item I was about to purchase. But they shipped it in 11 days after my purchase and sent a shipping confirmation email with tracking number (which is awesome!)"

"I placed my order on Sunday April 20th, after doing so I checked up on the reviews here and found that they had a horrible score of 1/10 in the past 6 months, previous reviews gave them very good ratings though so I still took my chances, having ordered two items first and then finding a third for another order (which I placed separately) I emailed them and asked if they could combine orders (since shipping is free for all other games past the first one) but I got no reply to my inquiry at all, whether it could be done or not. I was kind of disappointed in that but its actually my fault for not placing them in the same order, either way one order was processed and shipped out on Tuesday and the other was processed and shipped out on Wednesday, both arrived by Friday and everything was in perfect order.....couldnt ask for better service than that, some of the fastest processing and shipping (and it was UPS ground from MN to PA) I've ever had and I will definitely order from them again!"
"Very Dissatisfied. I placed an order of $100 worth of goods on 4/3/08, (6 items). GameOutfitter.com billed my credit card on 4/8/08. It is now 4/17/08 and I have nothing to show for my order. No response from phone messages and it's like pulling teeth to get a response via e-mail. Read below for full review.
Their website states a maximum of 72 hours to "process" your order. Combine that with the fact they do not function on weekends, and the maximum UPS delivery time and I should still have received my package by now. As it turns out, I'm getting fed the same garbage as everyone else who's been shafted. Here is one of two vague responses I received after MANY e-mails:

Your order has shipped according to our spreadsheet, however my shipment tracking system has been giving me troubles so I was unable to find your UPS tracking number. Most often, people order and get their items with no problem. Our major area of weakness is in efficiency in following up promptly when things are out of stock, etc. Sad to say but they tend to get backlogged since at present we do not have adequate staffing to handle these issues. We are a small internet business striving to offer the lowest prices possible for our customers. After much prodding and pleading with our owner (he's well aware but has been so busy with the daily upkeep) tomake changes, He has at last found a more comprehensive system that we will be switching to within the next couple months. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you do not get tracking information sent to you within the next day or two.

You couldn't find my tracking number? What? "And now back to a chimp at a keyboard at GameOutfitter.com!" Bottom line... DO NOT do business with this company, it has been such an utter displeasure and irritation to deal with them in the slightest manner as they are absolutely incompetent as a business and it was a misfortune to have been lured in by their slightly lower prices, which quite frankly are not worth the absolute aggravation. GameOutfitter.com is the worst online business I have ever come across. They have terrible customer service, a boss, (Keith Miller) that doesn't seem to care about his customers, completely abysmal delivery/shipping/tracking, and they don't even abide by any of the rules and standards they claim to embody. I only wish I would have read their reviews before I purchased as I am battling them for a refund and filing a dispute with my credit card company. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and take your gaming business elsewhere at all costs, this company simply isn't worth acknowledging."
