"Ordered eVGA GF4 Ti4400 on Aug 13th with free Fedex Express Saver shipping and got it on 16th.
Very good service, exelent product. Packeging was good too.
The card was different than the one on picuture - it was better one.
eVGA has 2 GF4 Ti4400s - one with reference fan, the other with bigget fan.
The one I got was with bigger one, but on website when I ordered it had the reference version's picture.
I wish they did same day shipping on order before 3pm but not everything can be perfect. ;)
This was my first online hardware purchase and it went fine and smooth.
Will defenately do buisness with them.

"I just got an email saying that the credit card could not be verified due to incorrect address. I know the address was right, but after reading a post on here I'm scared to attempt to reorder. I'm also not getting any answer at the support #. The price seemed to good to be true, I'll post here again if this gets resovled.

edit--- got an email back very quickly, they just wanted to make sure that it was actaully me ordering. I provided them with more info... All cleared up I hope. If all goes well from here I'd gladly order from this company.

"Good price on a GFti4400. Ordered on 8/8/2002. Received on 8/13/2002. Pretty straight forward. Will buy again if prices good. Only one comment i have on order status page of their web site. Once they ship their products, the status changes to "delivered". This is wrong cos it still might be en route. They just need to change that to read "shipped" instead of "delievered". Other than that confusing statement, it's all good."

"Well, I can't complain. Hopefully everything will arrive in full working order (but you hope that from all places you order). I ordered it last Thursday (Aug. 8th) and it shipped Aug. 9th. It'll be here monday or Tuesday. Overall I'd say pretty speedy and have no complaints yet..."

"gameve.com customer service is horrible, I ordered a geforce 4 mx 460 overnight express and here it is the next day and they still havent sent me a tracking number to let me know if it will make it here today, I talked to them 3 times (most of the time I got a busy signal or they just wouldnt pick up at all) yesterday to find out when it would be shipped and they told me they would send me a tracking number, last night, once my credit card went through, well my cc went through but I still have no tracking number like they promised 3 times. their prices are nice but their customer service is the worst Ive ever dealt with, I definitely recommend shopping anywhere else. "

"One word: awful.

I found a nice price for a GeForce4 Ti4400 at www.gameve.com so I went ahead and ordered it. After four very confusing and deceptive emails, I learn that for some reason my order did not process (although I had ordered several components from several retailers with the same credit card that day).

So foolishly, I reordered the video card and a case with a different credit card. Two days later I receive an e-mail that my order did not process again and it was cancelled. I double-check the website and send an e-mail requesting the order to be cancelled (just in case). An hour later the company e-mails me two tracking numbers. Both products had been shipped three days prior! Now I have to keep the video card and case or pay $50+ in restocking fees. The real kicker is that I went ahead and ordered a case and video card elsewhere when I received that "order cancelled" e-mail.

This company sucks. If you buy from them, there had better be an unbelievable deal. And make sure you don't have any second thoughts about returning it or cancelling the order, or you will get burnt as I have been.

**UPDATE**
Well it's been a month and GameVE has not refunded (credited) my credit card for the merchandise I never kept. Wonderful.

"I was impressed with both the choice of inventory and the very competitive prices of GameVE.com. I placed an order for three items -- a CPU, a motherboard, and a video card.

This business is a bit sluggish about providing order confirmation and tracking information compared to other online vendors. I finally received tracking info after sending an e-mail request.

My order arrived via FedEx on August 2. Unfortunately, they failed to include the motherboard in the shipment, despite indicating on the invoice that this item had been shipped.

I called GameVE and spoke with a couple of different individuals. I also spent a LOT of time on hold while they checked into the problem.

I was offered conflicting explanations as to the error. One representative indicated that shipping had simply failed to include the motherboard in the package. Another representative posed two possibilities: (1) There wasn't room in the initial box for the motherboard so it was probably sent in a different package (which contradicts the printed invoice I received), or (2) they actually sent the item but it must have been delivered to another address by mistake and now they have to track down their missing merchandise (again, a contradiction to their FedEx invoice).

I requested that the motherboard be sent to me immediately; I had reserved the weekend for this system rebuild. However, since it is Friday and GameVE only uses FedEx for shipping, I was told they would "make it up to me" by sending it next-day air to arrive on Monday.

I discussed other possibilities, such as shipping with a different company, that would allow for Saturday delivery. However, they denied this request "for insurance reasons."

It is uncertain whether I will do business with GameVE again. Certainly their competitive prices and inventory selection are major draws. But failing to ship an ordered item and then not doing everything possible to correct the problem as quickly as possible concerns me.

I should note, however, that each of the company representatives with whom I spoke were very professional and polite (well, one was sort of "blowing smoke" trying to come up with an excuse for the obvious mistake, but at least he was polite and articulate about it... *smirk*).

"Ordered a motherboard (MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU) from these guys because newegg sold out. Pretty quick service, wished they had free shipping though. Received item in about 3-4 working days, you gotta go with fedex. Would shop here again, these guys sure know how to select an inventory for serious gaming. (By the way, in response to the previous posting, I used my Wells Fargo card and it was fine. So guys, don't use stolen credit cards hehe.)"

"I would order from this company again IF I was ordering something I was 100% sure I would not have to return (which is almost impossible assuming that you could potentially get a defective product)

I ordered quantity (2) GeForce 4 Ti4200 video cards and a computer case from this company. The price was good for the cards I wanted, so I figured I'd order it all even though the case was a few more bucks than newegg. I tend to be a loyal customer until I have a reason not to be. They waited a few days to ship the stuff out, which was annoying but I can't complain since they make no assurances of same or even next day shipping. I got the products, which were fine. My problems really began when after extensive testing, this video card was not going to work with my motherboard (Abit KT7A 1.2). I went so for in my testing as to actually pick up 2 other Ti 4200 cards from other manufacturers (PNY and Visiontek)at Best Buy to make sure that the MSI cards I had ordered were not at fault. I also went out and got a 430 watt powersupply from CompUSA to test that as well. When I had exhausted all possibilities, I requested an RMA from Gameve. After getting it in my e-mail, I repackaged the card in the same box they sent it to me in. I wrote the RMA on the box, once in the top left corner and once in the bottom left corner. I also wrote the RMA as part of the address in the Express Mail slip just in case the post office somehow covered up the other two spots. I sent it to them on the 16th of July and it arrived there, confirmed by the usps.com, the next day. I waited 1 week, still no credit to my checking account via my Visa check card. I called them and was told adamantly that they never got it. I gave them the name of the person who signed for it. They told me they'd call me back. They eventually calle me back and told me I didn't put the RMA number on the box, which is incorrect. They told me they'd credit me "today or tomorrow maybe". I called back 4 days later, no credit yet, they told me it sometimes takes a few days for it to go through on my end. I personally haven't noticed my bank to do that, but I guess they know my bank account better than I do.

Today is the 29th of July, I am still waiting for a credit that they claim to have already put through.

So I say again, if you are ordering something you know is fine for your system and isn't likely to arrive defective (computer cases or what have you) go for it. Otherwise, forget it. This was my first experience ordering computer parts online and it's pretty much queered it for me altogether.

"Ordered a Geforce4 ti4200 online, called them 2 days later to find out that the item still hadn't shipped because they were out of stock. I needed to get the card soon since I was leaving for a trip and had to take the card with me as a present, so I was planning to cancel the order and just pick one up at a local store.

When I called in I spoke to Lawrence, and he guaranteed the card would arrive by the deadline that I set (07/10/02), otherwise it would be free.

Well, the card was didn't arrive on time, so I picked one up at the store as originally planned on July 10th. After I came back from my trip I found out that the card arrived a day late due to a messup with the change in shipping type.

What's great about this whole thing is that Lawrence kept his word. Just spoke to him about 30 minutes ago, and he put in a full refund for me, which should go through on my card within 2-3 days. It's great to know that some people honor verbal agreements. I will definitly buy from this company again.
