"Ordered a 1600+ AGOIA CPU, rare, came fast, professional service. Will order from again."
"This company is great i highly recommend them. I ordered from 2 other websites like 5 days before this one and i still havent recieved anything ( BUNTA SUCKS !!) i got my geforce 4 shipped very quickly with no problems, this place is my new favorite !"
" According to pricewatch gameve.com has the lowest price on Geil memory & Free shipping w00t! So I order a stick of Geil DDR 256mb pc3200 ultra."
"Purchased Geil Golden Dragon Dual DDR 512MB 433MHz. Order confirmation and tracking number received in a timely manner. Received order on 06/18/2003. One stick is DOA. Tested in all 3 memory slots on both Abit NF7-S v2 and Asus A78NX Deluxe 1.04... nothing but a long BEEEEP with the bad stick. I have requested an RMA and I will post again with update on how the situation is handled. I've order from Gameve.com before without incident. I don't blame them for DOA product... it happens. I just hope they process the RMA in a timely manner."
"IT was my birthday and i had just sold my Gainward GS 64MB Ti4200 to a friend in order to buy a Ti 4600 instead because my 36" TV/Monitor only supports a refresh rate of 60hz and a Res of 800X600 and i wanted a little beefier card to make up for it. But as i looked on pricewatch i found gameve called a friend and he refered me to this site (thank god for reseller ratings.) I ordered anyway and only paid $225 plus ship on MSI Ti4600 With games!!!. Everything worked, was properly packaged and it even arrived two hours before i had to go to work. I will probably order from gameve in the future due to my positive experience but i will be wary of their customer service until i experience it fo r myself and it seems as though Lawrence in other emails is truly working towards bettering gameve"

"I ordered a Gainward Golden Sample 650XP video card from GameVE on September 3th, 2002. When I received it on September 9th, I discovered the package was unsealed. Upon opening it and installing the card, I realized that the card in the box was NOT the card that was supposed to be in the box. It was instead the 650TV, about a $50 difference in value.
I immediately contacted Lawrence Lu, the General Manager, and he told me to fill out an RMA request and we would "cross-ship" the item. What he did not tell me is that he would charge me AGAIN for the replacement card and would be refunding my money when he received mine. I understand now that this is standard practice, but I'd never had to cross-ship anything before and was unaware of the process. This was a hit to my bank account that I was not expecting.
Also, lacking this information, I left the incorrect card in my client's computer while waiting for the new one to arrive, at which point I promptly sent off the bad card to their RMA department, approximately September 23rd, the package set to arrive on September 27th (which it did.)
I did not receive my money back (or any word on WHEN I would get my money back other than "5 business days") until October 8th.
Their business seems a little unclean (perhaps a box packager decided he wanted a new video card and thought no one would notice?) and their service/communication is a little lacking.
Lawrence was however more than willing to fix the problem, it just took much longer than it should have.
Overall, a negative experience. I will not be purchasing from GameVE again unless their prices are absolutely unbeatable."
"Well I bought a Athlon 1900+, a fan, and a retail 8500. Well they ran out of the 8500 and instead of sending me the thermaltake fan that I had ordered, they sent me some generic one . Well I called when my order had shipped and complained, it did take them some time about a month, but they sent out my thermaltake fan, and I got to keep the generic one. The only good thing about my experience was the retail ahtlon was cheaper than the oem and I was sent it fast."
"I ordered a Leadteck Ti-4600 with VIVO. I checked on my order status the next day, it was shipped. The problems that other reviewers were having with shipping did not occur to me: two days later my order arrived. The packaging was adequate, no damage was done. I've been using it for almost two weeks now with no problems.
I highly recommend this company. Extremely competitive prices, fast order processing equal, and adequate packaging equal a good deal."
"I bought a evga geforce 4 ti4200 it was retail boxed and works perfectly fast shipping. Recieved it in 3 business days and in excellent condition. I highly recommend"
"Absolute nightmare...
Found out through Pricewatch that GameVE.com had a great price on the Gainward 650 GeForce 4 4200 128mb ram "Golden Seal" edition video card. The offer seemed too good to pass up to me so I ordered the card from them the next day. Shipping was free with this offer so I can't complain about the shipping not being the fastest around. Now for the bad parts...
Ok, aparently alot of Gainward GF4 users are experiencing problems with Direct 3D on certaint defective cards or some bizzare incompatibility issue. I happened to be one of those unlucky users.
Called up GameVE got in touch with the manager. He says he'll replace the card with another identicle card but I gotta pay to ship the defective one back to him first. I was ok with this only that I didn't want a Gainward model anymore after experiencing difficulties with it myself and seeing all the other users on this forum with the same troubles as me...

In order to get my money back or to change brands of the GeForce card to a different manufacturer, this manager, who knew about this Gainward problem btw, insisted on me paying a restocking fee. To make a very long and arduous story shorter lets just say I'm in the process of fighting the restocking fee charge with the help of my credit card company. In the end, pay the few exra bucks and deal with a reputable company. If you didn't care about speedy shipping and are lucky enough to not run into complications then this merchant would have been fine, but considering somewhere along the line you will run into some kind of problem you better hope it aint with these guys. So my opion is to...
STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM GameVE.com!!!!!! Awful Service and Support all across the board!!!

"Ordered a new Gainward Ti4600 GoldenSample. Arrived fast and in excellent condition."
"Ordered an Aopen Geforce 4 Ti 4200 on Monday, September 16th and received it on Friday, September 20th coast to coast with their free shipping. My new video card works fine so far. Everything went just as it should have gone. I would use them again.
Update: Unfortunately the card died after 30 days and I requested an RMA number. During the RMA request process I selected cross-ship. I even e-mailed to verify the shipping cost on a cross ship and asked them if I should return everything or just the bare card. Nowhere did I see that you could not request a cross ship after 30 days. I received a response e-mail that told me to wait until I received the cross ship and only return the items which they sent me. After waiting for a week, I sent them an e-mail asking if the cross ship had been shipped yet, then I got a reply telling me they don’t do cross shipments on items purchased over 30 days ago. I will update this further after all the process is completed but so far I get the impression this company doesn’t care too much about after sale support and unfortunately Aopen typically only deals with the reseller so they are my only option to get this exchanged right now.
Edit: I guess I forgot to update this. After the initial confusion I received the replacement card within a reasonable amount of time and it worked fine for over a year. I would buy from GameVE again based on my previous experience. "
"Good service, got my processor in 2 days. Friendy people on the phone."
"I can honestly say that this was the very worst company I have ever dealt with online. First, I placed an order for a specifi Geforce 4 video card I saw advertised on PriceWatch. A day or two later, they e-mailed me saying they no longer made or handled that type of card, and suggested I buy a different one for $8.00 more. They asked me to reply and let them know if I wanted the other card or not. I then found another source for the card I was looking for, so I wrote back a nice message telling them to disregard and cancel my order. I assumed nothing more would have happened. Well, about five days later I checked my credit card invoice and a deduction of $186 was shown. There was no phone number on the deduction, and the name was "Value Express", a name which I was unfamiliar with. Thinking quickly, I entered the name into a search engine and found a chain of hotels. I thus assumed that some person was using my credit card information fraudulently. I quickly called my credit card company and they stopped my credit card and told me to dispose of it. So I could no longer make purchases until they sent a new card. Upon doing more research, I was able to locate the specific Value Express that it came from, and tried calling the number. it was an endless chain of pre-recorded messages, no real people available. I left a voice message explaining the issue, and never heard back from them. I then entered the address of the Value Express I found into Google and came up with GameVE. Seeing the company, I called my credit card company once again to let them know. They told me that in order to get the money back, the company had to fax in the letterhead of the order with my information. I will never know if they did do that, because all I ever received was automated messages with very short phrases of real information. After sending them three more letters they finally cancelled my order. A few days later I did get my money back, but now I still am unable to use my credit card thanks to this place. I am warning you... DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE UNTIL YOU ARE 100% CERTAIN THAT IT IS IN STOCK! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY ANYWAYS!"
