"Never did business with these guys before (nor heard of them), but they had the lowest price for a GeForce4 card by a reputable company that I could find. I had a minor issue regarding the shipping info, since it was different from my billing, but that was solved quickly (I'm glad they check!). Received a defective card a few days later so I filled out the online RMA form, which was easy enough. I did have some questions about the RMA shipping options so I called the ordering number and was told I could avoid the shipping hassle and just drive down to the facility with my RMA and exchange it there (only 30 min away). That was VERY cool. After I received my RMA (after a day--sure wish it were sooner but I see now how busy they are!), I drove down there; they were busy, but very helpful, and the manager, whom I spoke with, was very kind. I appreciated that! Only took a few minutes for me to get a new card and the manager ensured me that if something was wrong with the new card, he'll take care of me again. He could have just gave me the card and said, "Bye" so I was impressed by this simple gesture. All in all, this is a legitimate company and they should take care of you."

I purchased an AMD ATHLON XP 2200+ RETAIL, my purchase price was 171.00. Not a bad price. I placed this order on Aug. 30th right before 1pm. GameVe's site said that it would take 24 to 48 hours for my order to process, and that was fine. The money for this processor was taken out of my account on Aug.31st. Monday Sept. 3rd was labor day so of course I didn't expect any activity. Tuesday comes and goes as well as Wednesday and now Thursday and my order says still processing. WHY?? Well we called them today(Thursday the 5th)and they told us it would be shipping tomorrow(friday). They told us the processor had not been in stock. OK why did they not email me and let me know that. They told me that I would, "You will receive another email with payment and shipping confirmation." Well they got paid the day after I made my purchase. Oh did I forget to mention that I payed an extra $26.83 for Shipping(FedEx Standard Overnite)I am not happy at all with this purchase. We shall see if I really receive my purchase tomorrow or not. I personally think that I should be refunded the overnight fee that I paid, because I did not receive my order overnight and did not receive an email stating why I had not when in fact they new it was not in stock this whole time, or at least they should have...hence they do run a business.

"I ordered this, and contrary to what I heard on this forum I received the tracking number right after it was shipped. The product arrived in great time, but was DOA due to a capacitor being snapped off. It might have been damaged elsewhere, but the FedEx box it was shipped in only had several packing peanuts on one side of the box, leaving the others unprotected.
I RMA'd it without a problem, and today received my 2nd shipment from GameVE. This time the video card's box was quite damaged, and when I opened it the card had punched through it's ESP protective bag and into the cardboard in several places. The FedEx box it came in this time had no protective packaging leaving the card to slide and bump around.
Thankfully the card works fine. Overall I'm satisfied with everything from this seller except for their packing methods. I will buy from them again in the near future!

"Not that great. Ordered a GeForce3 Ti200 with high hopes. Had them smashed terribly worse than that guy on "Contest Search Light". The card was prompt and got here in 4 days (Good price, shipping was great.)
Installation went fine. 3d performance was excellent though extremely buggy... installed new drivers, no avail. Found out later than the card had a borked fan and it over heated and killed itself while it was burning a CD. (I went out for dinner and came back to find that my poor card would never run again...)
Here comes the beauty. I sent an e-mail to sales (2 actually) asking about returning it. No response. Sent an e-mail to the support asking about returning it. No response. Sent an ICQ to Laurence (sp?) Lu who works for GameEV.com. Again no response. Going to try calling them next, but either way, they just don't want to talk about this botched card they sent me.
Currently have my Voodoo5 5500 in there (still loving that card too) but I'm frankly dissapointed at the lack of customer service by this company..."
"Gameve.com has the WORST customer service that I have ever had to deal with. I ordered a MSI GeForce4 Ti4600, a thermaltake GF4 cooler, and 8 tin coated copper ramsinks. They shipped PART of my order on time, but didn't send me the tracking number. I emailed them and they sent the tracking number, but didn't tell me that all of my order didn't ship. Their website, didn't say that they were out of the ramsinks, neither did their email. The package containing my graphics card and the thermaltake GF4 cooler arrived, but there was no shipping invoice or note telling me that the ramsinks didn't ship. I emailed them and asked why the ramsinks were not in the package, and why I was not informed that they would not ship on time. They emailed me back saying they shipped them that day, which was about week after I ordered. It took another week for the ramsinks to get here. They ignored my question as to why I was not notified, and simply told me that they had shipped that day. I emailed them back and asked for an explanation as to what was going on, and I got the following:

This email failed to answer why it took a week to ship the ramsinks, and why I was not informed. Their idea of customer service seems to be ignoring questions, answering only the ones they feel like answering, and questioning the reliability of my email inbox. I was very disappointed that after giving them over $300 of my money, that they could not ship on time, tell me that they had not shipped on time, or give any explanation as to why. I wish I had looked at resellerratings.com before ordering from them, as they seem to have many problems with shipping on time and giving tracking numbers. I will NEVER order from them again, and will not recommend them to anyone. I have built computers before from parts ordered online, and have never had a company act this way. Not shipping on time is one thing, but to not tell the customer, and to not resolve the problem is unacceptable. By treating me this way, they have guaranteed that I will not order the graphics cards for the other computers I build from them. Their prices may be about $10 cheaper than other sites listed on pricewatch, but the poor quality of customer service is not worth it, neither is the delay. I write this review in the hopes that I will prevent other people from wasting their time and money at GameVE.com.
