Had problem with one of the memory sticks.....got an RMA on-line with no hassle and returned it. Received new memory in a few days. Experience was as good as could be expected. "The service was horrible, it was the first bad experience I have ever had with buying computer parts online, and I buy computer parts online frequently.
Firstly, I ordered a case, a video card, processor, ram from this company. it had some of the best prices, I have to give them that, but i think that's pretty much it. (spending close to 700 bucks in one purchase, i consider myself a pretty good customer)
Now, it said that it would take a couple of days to process the order, i placed the order on the 26th of Aug, which was a tuesday, no confirmation of order until 2 days later, that's fine. 2 dys right. So i was thinking that I should get it after Labor day. Nothing. I went to check status.... all it said was order received. So i called them, they said.. oh yeah, we don't have the video card. (Why didn't they contact me!) So, fine, I instructed them to take it out and send me the rest. I was promised that they would send it that Tuesday (2nd)
Wednesday afternoon, no confirmation of shipment, I called.. another person picked up. ... oh yeah we don't have the video card! "I know"... another promise that it would be shipped out. The person even told me that "I am looking at the order right now"...and that he will do it immediately.
Thursday afternoon, no confirmation of shipment, I called...another person picked up.... oh yeah we don't have the video card! " I f**ing know" he said that the account has been credited the price of the video card, which meant that the rest has been shipped. I asked. for sure? yeah sent yesterday (which meant wednesday)
Friday afternoon, finally a tracking number, looking at the Fedex status list.. the package did not get picked up until the Thursday afternoon (who's lying i wonder) and did not leave the fedex center until Friday. I won't get it until the 9th....
I ordered on Aug 26th, the site declares a 1-2days of proccessing, and fedex saver 3 days for shipment.
Somehow , i won't get my shipment until the 9th of September.
This is the worst experience i have ever had. I don't blame fedex... but i have to blame someone

"I paid extra for expedited handling so the order would ship the same day as I placed it. They waited *TWO* full days before shipping it. They should have refunded the expediting charge and/or added free express shipping .. they did neither. What a rip-off.

"Absolutely the WORST reseller I have ever dealt with! The item I ordered was to have been shipped within 1-2 days after the order was placed (I paid extra for "rush" service}. On September 2, 2003, I sent this reseller an e-mail asking them to either ship by the end of the business day or cancel the order. This e-mail was IGNORED. This morning, I called customer service and cancelled the order, I thought, following up with a confirming e-mail, in part because the item was not in stock. GameVE.com ignored this as well, and notified me about an hour ago that the item had been shipped. The supposed tracking no. is, however, a phony; neither UPS nor FedEx recognize it.
I would not recommend GameVE.com to anyone, ever."

"Very poor customer communication skills. Sent me a lower grade CPU. Advertised as AXDA1700D_U_T3C, paid a few extra $ over the Newegg's price (Newegg: $7 lower at the time, 1/7 of the total gameve price) to get the CPU with stepping as advertised. Got a AXDA1700D_L_T3C which is a lower grade. GameVe's response was "What is your problem? You got what you paid for!" Excuse me! I didn't! Their tech support, unlike their customer service was a bit nicer though. Still the same result: File RMA, send it back (on my expenses, running my expenses even further up for their "mistake") and they'll investigate and decide what to do...
Hopefully my credit card company will take care of that. "
