"Ordered a motherboard from this merchant. The web page indicated it was "In Stock". Called today turns out it was backordered until late next week. Did I receive an notifcation email that it was backordered? No.
Last time I checked, having worked in ecommmerce for a few years, it's a pretty simple thing to have an inventory system where you input the total number of units in stock, subtract from that number for each order and when it hits 0, change the flag on the web page to "Out of Stock"
I refuse to believe that a merchant that cannot handle a simple issue like a stock notification flag can manage the rest of the purchase process with any competence. Given the number of unethical merchants out there, I would have assumed that a merchant with decent ratings would have this process down pat."

"I placed an order with them becuse the prices were really good. Little did I know what I was in for in actually getting the items. I placed my order on 7/18. They charged my card on the 18th. they didn't send the first shipment out until almost a week later. When it arrived they shipped the wrong HDD. I can understand mistakes. So I tried going through their online RMA process. That didn't work. I called them They wanted me to give them my password to do an RMA. I refused as anyone should (never give out your passords for any reason to anyone) Finnaly they said they would do a manual RMA after i asked to speak to a manager. They cam e the real fun. They were going to charge me shipping to get the correct item. I told them in no way was I going to pay any shipping charges. So the sent me out a fed ex slip to send them back the wrong drive before they would send back the right drive. So I followed their guidliuines and today is August 14 and I still don not have my hard drive. Almost a month later. I will not be shopping with these people ever again!!!"
