They let me know about it promptly, but once I told them I had corrected the problem, they didn't respond to the email very quickly. " I ordered a PowerColor 9700 Pro in March 2003. I had to rma it in July for a replacement. I received the replacement on 8/4/2003.

I installed it and Windows detected it as a 9700 Pro, but noticed the performance was not that of the first card. So, I checked some things out and discovered the memory chip was 3.6ns and the clock speeds were 275/270. That is a 9700 non-pro. I paid for a 9700 Pro.

I don't know if GameVE knowingly sent me a "hacked" 9700 non-pro, was a repackaged return from another buyer, or whatever, but I contacted them immediately via email and then left a meassage by phone today. I've yet to get a reply, even though it's only been 24 hours. I've heard of others having similar problems.
If I don't receive a reply within 48 hours, I will assume they are not going to correct the issue and will take further steps."

As to the post below, if you had read even a little bit into it, you would have realized. Then, if you had looked at the price before you clicked purchase you would have realized again. Then if you had used some common sense to investigate it, you would have realized.


But anyway, for $49, it is unbelievable as it is pretty hard to get a tbredb nowadays ever since amd started making a's again (beware the egg right now).
