"We expected a whole new canopy with frame and all. Was surprised to receive a small box with just a replacement canopy that we had to install on the old frame. The replacement canopy came with no instructions. By examining the old canopy we figured out how to take the old one off. I replaced one end the the canopy which was pretty easy, but when I tried to attached the other end it was too tight. I had to undue the long rods from the side frame in order to attach the other end.
I then attached the long rods to one end but to my surprise the rods where 2 inches too long. I tried to stretch the canopy in order in attach to rod but it was to tight. I had to hammer the long rods back in place which made them bow in the middle. It was so tight that one of the grommets on the end bar came out. I had to drill a hole through the rod and put a new bolt and nut to hold the long rod. So needless to say the installation of the new canopy was not a piece of cake. Hopefully in time the new canopy will stretch out the the rods will straighten out. It took me two days putting it on standing on my head and sitting on the floor.
Also we bought the 3 person swing in green but you only sell a replacement canopy in beige. I have no intention in buying new cushions for $149.00 in beige so that it will match. It will be the last replacement canopy I buy. I rated a horrible experience
