"I purchased this to replace the original torn canopy cover that lasted nearly 2 years. This canopy looks very sturdy and fits excellent. Judging by the looks I'd assume it will last several years. It is stitched different and has extra seams that the original didn't have. These seams leak when it rains whereas the original didn't leak. I put seam sealer and waterproofing on the canvas, so we'll see if it's waterproof now."

The riplock fabric is easily twice as heavy as the original and appears to be nearly the same material the United States military uses for uniforms.
