"We bought the 525 (thickness unit) instead of the 350 because we were told it was almost twice as thick. It still very thin and light. I can't imagine how thin 350 must be. It doesn't look very waterproof but I cannot tell for sure since there was no rain since I've installed it. It lacks about 2 inches on every sides to get the sewing between the roof part and the valance perfectly align with the top edge of the frame so you see a part of the valance over the frame at the bottom of the roof and see the elastic attachment. The hooks at the end of the elastics are not angled perfectly so they don't fit flat, there make a little bump out. The colour is not original as expected but it's fine. The sewing have many little holes, I'm curious about what will be the result with the rain. Original canopy lasted 8 years. Before buying we hoped to make 4 with this new one as we were realistic that it would not be as tough as an original. Now that it is installed I've revised my hopes. If we make more than 2 years with this new one I'll be pleasantly surprised! It's still a cheaper solution than buying an new gazebo and you don't need to rebuild. Shipping was fast. 2 days from California to Quebec."

"This is the second canopy I've replaced and they seem to get smaller and smaller. Yesterday as we were replacing the top. the grommets on all 4 four corners pulled out of the fabric as we had to stretch it to get even near the bolts. Same for the top small canopy. It was at least 2" too small around and we had to remove the protective rubber ends on the mounts to get the cover to fit over bare metal. This cover was also a single cover, unlike the "double" trim of the last 2 I ordered. It's up now but I doubt it will last the average year the others have. And YES, I ordered the correct canopy.... "My original canopy ripped in several places from edge to center after 3 years of sun and Santa Ana winds. I found this replacement canopy, and it arrived quickly, and I had it up the day it arrived. The corner pockets don't reach the ends of the canopy corners, but with the Velcro attachments, it stays in place without the corner pockets. On our first windy day, it billowed like a parachute, but stayed in place with no rips. I selected this one for the riplock fabric, and it really seems much sturdier, and better than the original."
