"This was our third canopy that we have ordered. The first two were fairly well built, however this one was not. As soon as it was installed I could tell that this one o would not last long, the clip holes are not re-inforced, and you can already see light through the stitching on the threads. I do not foresee this canopy lasting two months in the weather. It is unfortunate because the last two we ordered were bother pretty good. "
"I ordered my canopy using the original manufacturer model number L-GZ717PST-C. GardenWinds told me over the phone that the canopy they sell was made specifically for my Sunjoy model. Thinking this was a good OEM replacement I ordered it. What a waste of $200!!! The canopy is too short, 1-2 inches on each side. I had to drill new holes on the canopy metal frame to adjust for the "made specifically for my model number". The tiny curtains that runs along side the canopy doesn't even look well placed, almost 6 inches off. I don't know how it was made to exact oem dimensions when it doesn't fit. This is the point of ordering based on my exact model number. Prior to all this, I spent 6 months searching for the oem replacement which the manufacturer never had any stock and no other retailer had. The GardenWinds canopy was my only hope to saving a 3 year old gazebo. I plan on calling customer service and complaining. Nobody should pay full price for a product that's advertised as oem replacement and doesn't fit. RipLock 350....more like RIPOFF!."
"The replacement canopy was somewhat hard to put onto our existing frame, but once it was on it looked great and seems to perform fine. Unlike past canopies, this one has not developed a low section where rainwater accumulates, and we just experienced 6" of rain in the last 48 hours. We normally get two years out of our canopies, and hope to with this one. (We do take them down for the late fall and winter months.)
