"Ordered replacement covers for my pergola and grill. Both were too small but I could live with the one for the pergola. The grill canopy was approximately 1/2 inch too small. Called about a replacement, went through hell before speaking with someone who accommodated me with one that supposedly was 1/2 inch bigger than the one I needed, which was out of stock. I ordered it to be delivered next day as I needed it for the party I am giving this Labor Day weekend. First they said it was too late to be shipped next day, then put me on hold, came back and said it could be shipped out that evening next day after all. The cost of the item was $69.99 and the Next Day Air was $67.09. I received an email confirmation stating that it would arrive the next day by 10:30 am. At 6:30 pm the day of the supposed delivery, I called UPS to find out why I hadn't received it and was informed that the company had not delivered it to them as yet. They recommended I speak with the seller. Called Garden Winds and got the run around. They simply said I would be getting it next day, meaning tomorrow. "How," I asked, "Since UPS doesn't have it yet and it is later than when I ordered it" the day before. Angela insisted that it would be shipped and I would get it tomorrow. I asked for some kind of compensation since I didn't get it when the email they sent promised I would and they continued to do double talk. After quite a while of back and forth with me getting increasingly upset, I ended the call by saying that I would report this to the FCC (meant FTC) as a case of fraud. I certainly hope they will refund my money for the first one that was too small that is being returned. They charge $10 for returns. Not sure what will happen since I am writing this bad review and intend to report them to every agency responsible for oversight."
