"Everything initially went fine with the transaction (I sold an iPad 2 to Gazelle). I received a quote, received the box from Gazelle, received notice that they had the iPad, and received notice that the iPad was as described and I would receive payment in the form of an Amazon gift card within 3-5 days. 7 days later still had not received any word from Gazelle. Checked my spam folder, nothing there. Contacted Gazelle Support and they supplied the Amazon card # within 24 hours. But no explanation of what went wrong or why I had to contact them.

"I experienced two problems in dealing with Gazelle as a buyer of a used iPhone.
1. On the first screen when you’re shopping for an iPhone is a pop-up that offers you a $10 rebate on your purchase. This rebate didn’t show up in my shopping cart, so I cancelled the transaction and emailed Gazelle support. A guy named Tim promised me that if I made a purchase and send him the details on the purchase, he would see that I was rebated $10. I made the purchase and emailed Tim, asking for the rebate, but he’s ignored all of the emails.
2. The phone I received looks great. And it actually arrived sooner than they promised. Problem is that the battery in it is no good. The website promises a 30-day guarantee. I’m at least ten days under the limit, but again, they don’t respond to requests for customer service. It cost me $60 to have a new battery installed.
