They tricked me with reasonable estimation but once I sent my phones, they used different model standard to evaluate my phones and lowball the price. They bet no one wants to waste time on reselling. This company should never remain in the business. I would never sell to Gazelle again and recommend others not. The customer support was rude and refuse to reinspected. No followup after my complaint. Worst resell experience ever."

Within 3 days of their receipt of my phone, I received an email stating that they were increasing their offer and that my payment would arrive in 3-5 days. It was in my Paypal account two hours later. This satisfied customer is a talker and I will generously share this story with others. "What a complete time **** this site is. I “sold” my iPhone 14 (which was in an otterbox case the entire time I had it) and after receiving the phone, Gazelle played their tactic of assuming the seller will not waste more time and offered $150 less than original estimate. They were right. I didn’t have the time or energy to try to sell it someplace else. I just accepted the offer. This was over three months ago in February and still haven’t received my payment. I specifically selected Gazelle for the check payment option, Supposedly, they stopped payment and reissued the check FOUR separate times …yet I’m still waiting… stay far away from this site unless you wanna lose your time and money."

After multiple sketchy customer support emails and being on hold for 30 minutes for multiple people, including a senior support staff member, to tell me that there was "nothing they could do" and that I had to either accept/decline the offer of $0. With every interaction they decreased the value of my device, and now are telling me to basically F*** off. This business practices shady dealings. I would only recommend if you wish to be screwed over. I have reported this company to the BBB and highly recommended and suggest others do as well. "

"Gazelle gives you a nice-looking offer when you initially look to sell your device to them, but after sending it in, they will make up all kinds of excuses to lower the value you were quote by over half.

They first claimed my Unlocked phone was an "Other" carrier, which it wasn't, as it was purchased Factory Unlocked.

Then they claimed it was so scratched and scuffed that it was in the "Faulty" category even though the images on the website showed a device in Scratched or even Good condition matching my device.

I have lots of experience in the phone resell business and would absolutely stay away. Please go to somewhere else like Decluttr, Itsworthmore, Buybackworld, or Buybackboss instead, they will take care of you. You'll be wasting your time dealing with Gazelle."
