"I’m a firm believer in giving credit where is due and in the case of GenTech Computers, credit is most definitely due!
I performed weeks of research to obtain the “right” Laptop. I read reviews on a number of computers, and I decided on the ASUS G50V-A1 as my first choice laptop. I researched vendors and retailers then purchased it from GenTech Computers in Southern California. Without a doubt the main reason I went with GenTech was the outstanding customer service provided by Ken Lee. Over the course of 2 days Ken took the time and made the effort to address all my questions and concerns.
I live in California so I could have saved well over one hundred dollars if I had purchased the G50V from an out of state vendor that was not required to collect sales tax. In the end I bit the bullet and went with Ken at GenTech the additional cost was more than offset but the time and effort Ken provided.
My computer arrived in less than 48 hours in great shape and ready to go.
I have called Ken for support twice and true to form he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
I recommend Ken Lee and GenTech Computers to all considering the purchase of and ASUS computer."

"First Class Service. This is by far the best online shopping experience for me. I do most of my shopping online, so I've had good and bad experience. GentechPC (specially Ken) really sets a new standard for online shopping. My purchase was really like personal, I feel like I'm the only customer. Order processing was quick and fast. Every questions I had was replied quickly. The price is great, more affordable than other online stores plus I get bonus. Yep, I ordered ASUS M50SV-A1 laptop and I'm supposed to get a 8GB SSD, but since it was out of stock, I got better bonus at no additional charge whatsoever.

"GenTech was an absolute pleasure to work with/purchase from and most noteably a man named Ken who was beyond helpful to me in regards to questions, help, and even calling to confirm my order. I think he does every job at that place :)
Before i was even inquiring to purchase, Ken provided superior and prompt customer service (something thats almost impossible to come across in this day and age)answered every question i had, and provided good service all around. I was looking at a few different vendors for the laptop i planned to purchase but because of him, it was a no brainer to choose Gentech for my actual purchase.
I placed my order on a Sunday night at like 11pm at night. By Monday afternoon Ken had called to confirm my purchase and go over all the details of it and if i had any other questions. It shipped THAT DAY....let me say that again, i ordered on a Sunday and it Shipped Monday the next day. That is almost unheard of fast turnaround!
So all in all, i would strongly reccomend them to anyone looking for goods they provide and whenever my next time to purchase comes around i won't even consider another vendor. Thank you GenTech and Ken for the service, it has been an absolute pleasure.

"GenTech is a great company. I had first wanted a new gaming computer to replace my old 5 year old computer, and then found out about Asus G1S. After all the reviews i read about it, i knew it was a good laptop. After searching for resellers and finding alot of varying prices, i settled on GenTech, which included free shipping and a great price. After some initial research, finding this site helped me settle on GenTech. When i placed my order on Thursday, and wrote down a time, they called me the next day and everything was settled, but later they called again and said the card was declined. They held the order, and i asked to change the credit card on Monday, and we did, and now its shipped. Great customer service, friendly and professional, would definitely buy from them again. update: One of the downfalls of GenTech is that they use UPS, so if your in Canada like me, i would suggest getting a different shipper. UPS is just horrible."

* Also, I changed my order to a new model which was $31 less at the last minute. I forgot all about it and then I saw $31 on my credit card statement. Instead of checking to see if it was a credit or charge, I e-mailed them a nasty e-mail. They then reminded me nicely that it was a credit to my account.

"I've just ordered an Asus C90S and I have to say I'm very pleased with it when it arrived. Everything was on scheduled and just as I wanted. I had a question about regarding one of the part that was installed on it and I emailed support and they replied to me right away, even at 2 AM! Everything was resolved in minutes. "GenTech and their staff have been extremely helpful. The Asus c90s were released with a few bios issues, so of course the reseller's were stuck with a lot of issues that the customers wanted fixed.
GenTech realized their were issues and attempted to fix all of the problems. I dragged my feet for months about getting a wireless problem fixed since I wanted to play with my new toy as much as possible. I decided to finally contact GenTech about getting the problem fixed. I received a personal email withing 5 minutes of me submitting my request. I love that kind of customer service.

Shortly after I composed this post I realized a problem with my cell phone and found that they had indeed tried to contact me about the delay. As it turns out they were running my computer through extra test to ensure that the configuration ran properly since there were had been reports of conflicts between the memory and GPU (256 DDR3 version).
I applaud GenTech/1Toppc for the extra care they took to ensure that my computer ran its best when it left there hands. Additionally, the people I spoke with on the phone, I assume Ken, was professional and courteous.
My advice, if you have a problem similar to mine, is to give them a call.

Ok, First off lets say I'm a little disappointed so far. No where near dissatisfied though.
Lets go through the details ordered on Nov 11,a Sunday, realizing that no action would be taken until the following day. Received a call to verify my order and card number. The order was accepted and my credit card was charged. As of Nov. 20 @ 10am (their time) I have seen no update of the status on their order status page. Additionally I have not received an email notifying me of the laptop shipping.
Again I want to reiterate that their site and order invoice clearly states that I takes between 2-5 for laptops to ship and I expected 5 since I ordered a customized one. By my calculation I should have shipped Nov 19.
At this point I not concerned that the laptop has not shipped just that there hasn't been any communication from the store indicating a delay.
