"I purchased a Yaesu FT-70, and the first day after charging and programming it I picked up the handheld and the rubber sheathing around the antenna came right off. I didn't have a problem with it sometimes parts are bad, but after I emailed back pictures and let them know, I got "it isn't a known issue", and must have occurred from "improper handling" of the antenna. I didn't pick it up and swing it, I didn't grab it and carry it, I was moving it on my desk and the sheathing came off and the radio fell. If it had been more than moving my desk it would have been different. I had this one day, and didn't abuse it. If i buy a 150 dollar radio, I expect it the accessories to work, I have done the same with my Baofeng and no problem. I had another order pending with them for several hundred dollars, and they won't replace a maybe 15 dollar antenna? I just can't trust a company that doesn't stand behind what they sell.

UPDATE: After repeated emails and calls, I did get response back and a customer rep got back to me and was able to get ahold of Yaesu and send me an antenna that was broken. It took awhile, but I was able to finally get an antenna."
