"I received my glasses and I absolutely loved it. The Photochromic Glasses are beautiful. I like them with indoor and outdoor adaptive lenses. This red glasses makes a sense of retro fashion and trendy style. I love their womanly design. The full rectangle frames are great facial ornament."

"I love trying on glasses before I buy them so in the past I typically purchase in store but when I come across GlassesShop, an online retailers that sell prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, I find it so convenient to try on online.The site has a try it on feature which makes you try eyeglasses on your uploaded picture. You can go and try some different styles online. It's easy to know exactly how they'll look on your face before you buy online! It makes simple to choose the one suitable for me. JUST PLEASE DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS COMPANY!

"Glasses not as described. Ordered a set of sunglasses that are basically a pair of clip ons for the main glasses and any tinting you order and pay for is on the interior lense which is then covered by the exterior lense, if you want the glasses to look the way they appear on the site.

Trying to get any exchange or refund is a joke and even if they do offer it, they want a 50% restocking fee because THEY misrepresented their product!!!! Oh yeah and they are a Chinese company NOT a US company!!!!!

Worst customer service in life

"I had no problems with my first order. Took forever. but no problems. I made due with the fitting and moved on. For my second pair I thought since I trusted them I'd pay the extra for expedited shipping (2-5 days) a week later I was forced to call them. After calling they said I should of received an email about the wait. Which I didn't. When I said this they pretty much shrugged it off and said there was nothing they could do but refund me the shipping fee and ship it standard which would add weeks to an already growing issue. I asked to speak to a manager and was hung up on. When I called back I got no answer. I called two more times and explained I was supposed to speak to a manager and got hung up on again. When the "manager" called me back she was absolutely no help and said the same thing and that they don't "ship for free." disconnected AGAIN. I got a call from a different number and when I picked up they asked if it was me and hung up. After all that happening while I was at work I finally was able to call back and immediately wanted my order canceled. I was told I would get a confirmation email and the refund would happen next day. ONCE AGAIN i was receiving calls back and got a voicemail saying there was more to do and the order would stay open till I called back. I called back 6 times....i repeat 6 times till finally the phone was answered and after asking for my order # I was hung up on again. The entire interaction was a joke to them and I don't know how anyone could trust a bunch of uneducated people picking up phones in a basement with their money but from my experience and from countless others it's clear this website should definitely be shut down. Customer service is not service to them It's simply a way to make you feel like you have an option. Even now they will probably hold on to my refund like horrible people do or never cancel my order and a month from now I'll receive the pair clearly too late. And all with an obnoxious attitude. Thieves 100%."

Horrible Service

"I ordered some glasses on Jan. 08 2016 and got them on Jan.16 which was great! but the glasses were way to big for my face and they slide down my nose. I contacted customer service for an exchange not a refund and I will emailed at midnight on Jan17, 2016 stating that they do not do exchanges only refunds; but if I choose to refund my glasses I would be charged a 50% restocking fee and the remainder would be credited to my account. I was confused I stated through numerous emails with customer service that I did not want a refund but exchange for glasses the exact some price just smaller. I was told multiple time it was nothing they could do for me. They suggested I keep the glasses and order another pair. So you want me to keep glasses I have no use for and then pay you again for more glasses. I declined and stressed again that I'm not looking for the money but another pair of glasses. I was told to stop emailing the customer service because they have given me my option. THEY ARE THE WORST!! Please save your money and time with this shady company order from some way better companies like Zenni or Coastal because this place is horrible. Needless to say I am currenty stuck with glasses I no use for and now will have to spend more $ somewhere else to get glasses that are right fo rme."

"I ordered a pair of clip on sunglasses to use as a spare (my last pair has lens that are too thick ang occasionally fall out of the frame). When the glasses arrived, I noticed that the part of the clip on that stabilizes the connection onto the glasses frame had broken off. It still attaches on, but the clip on wobbles forwards and backwards if I lean my head down. Needless to say, I don't feel comfortable wearing them outside. I had then promptly email glassesshop within a week of receiving the glasses and did not receive a reply. I had then called customer service and spoke with a representative who said that she would email some people on my behalf. I have yet to hear back and it has been about a month. I don't think that I will be ordering from them again. The price may be tempting, but the poor quality and poor customer service make it not worth it. "

"I can assure you i will never be shopping here again. On November 27,2-15 i placed an order for glasses with this company. Now, i am very understanding, i knew its a busy time of year with the high volume of sales. one month? sure, thats a long time but its understandable. it took 2 months JUST for them to process my order. and only last week did they "sent to sort facility". I have waited to months for my order to process and i have no idea how long they need to sort it and then on top of that i have to wait for it to ship from CHINA?!?!? At this time i am confident that it will be over 3 months until i get my order. There was no indication on the website that they would be delayed for holiday orders, i have recieved no communication since i placed my order to update me on events. i have NEVER heard of a company taking three entire months to send an item. it is beyond ridiculous to me that i paid for shipping and it is taking such an absurd amount of time!!!!! "

"I am out $250 for two pairs of glasses I cannot wear. This is my first time wearing bifocals, and I was impressed by the price for progressive lenses, so I bought 2 pairs of glasses (Buy one, get one for 50% off). When they finally arrived (after being shipped from China), I put the first pair on, and it was such a contrast to my old glasses, I had a hard time adjusting to the lenses. The second pair was a smaller frame and the lenses were even worse. I tried wearing them for a month, but my eyes still haven't adjusted. One lense is blurry in each pair and the bifocals don't work unless I tilt my head back. The prescription is correct, but the construction of the glasses doesn't match my field of vision! Since I've worn them for over 30 days trying to adjust to them, I'm beyond the return policy."

"In what I can only describe as a truly horrible experience with GlassesShop, I will begin by saying I will never place an order with this company again. In the past, as a repeat customer, I have received my glasses within two weeks of the order date. If you have any concerns, it is best to call them between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and most likely you will reach a customer service representative by the name of TASHA who claims to be responsible for all outgoing orders. During our initial phone conversation, TASHA indicated that she is responsible for over 1800 outgoing orders daily. She claims responsibility for all shipping labels printed on orders. When my order was placed on the 16th of November, I received an email shortly thereafter that my order was being processed. Fast forward to November 30th and I still have not received my glasses. I called the toll free number and at that time TASHA explains that although she is responsible for all outgoing orders, she is not to blame for my apartment number being left off my order. All of my contact information is in my account with this company and has been for my previous two orders. TASHA then explains that my missing glasses are on their way back to the company and I will most likely have to pay to have them reshipped back to me. As a customer, I wasnt happy to hear this at all. To make matters worse, my call was forwarded to a call center supervisor named BRIDGET, who was even nastier and more "hands-off" and quite irritable an made me feel like I had no reason to ask where my glasses were and couldnt understand or care less about why I would have a problem with repaying shipping fees to have my order properly shipped back to me. BRIDGET blamed the entire mistake on USPS.
When I called the postal service, it was explained to me that the mistake was most likely made by the company and had a screenshot of my actual package that had no apartment number on it. So, when I call GlassesShop again, TASHA answers the phone and her behavior, demeanor and professionalism wasnt anything any customer should have to go through. It was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever encountered. I did manage to tell her that I wasnt going to pay AGAIN to have my glasses shipped to me, and when I insisted on speaking to BRIDGET again, I was told she was in a meeting, to which I responded "I will hold". At the time of this posting, I am still on hold for BRIDGET and have been for the past 45 minutes. Who knows if I will ever get my order. After this, I will never place an order with this company again and encourage others not to as well.

"I ordered a pair of glasses using the perscription I received from my eye doctor (which hasn't changed in over 10 years). When my glasses arrived one lens was accurate the other was off slightly on the perimeter causing blurriness when I scanned the room or walked. I let them know immediately. They asked that I send them a copy of the perscription and I did. They agreed it was entered correctly but in order to get a refund I had to go to my eye doctor to test the glasses and prove one lens was wrong. If I was going to have to go to my eye doctor for glasses I would have bought them at his glasses shop. I was skeptical about ordering perscription glasses online and unfortunately they met that skepticism with poor service. At the end on the day, I will be ordering a pair of glasses through a local place and I doubt I will ever see the money I spent at this place. Shame on me for not reading more reviews before ordering."
