"I've bought glasses from GlassesShop.com for the fourth time. This time, I decided to try their photochromic sunglasses as well as rimless computer eyeglasses. Both of them are rimless glasses which are my favorite ones. They are wrapped carefully and put in a decent case with clean microfiber cloth. The prescription is correct, and the eyeglasses are so light! The photochromic lenses change color as I imagine. Everything is great!

"Horrible experience. My son who is away for the summer asked me to order from GlassesShop. I obliged him, and then the waiting began. Nowhere on the website does it explain that these are being shipped from over the Pacific Ocean. This creates a delivery issue if you are subletting an apartment and UPS (why not use the Post Office for final delivery?) cannot verify that you are indeed living where they are to deliver. Okay, I know it's for my own Homeland's security, but it was a supreme hassle for my son to try to get them delivered. It became over a month since ordering; we had long since ordered from $39Glasses.com and received perfect glasses. Finally we got an email saying they had a hard time delivering and now they will not refund the total purchase price. Lesson here: Be sure you are not in a hurry for your glasses, and that you have them delivered to a home address or you will not get your glasses. If you can do those things, dandy. "

"So I ordered a pair of glasses from this place, obviously, and what a NIGHTMARE it was!!!

First I saw that they had charged my card twice. I called and got through to someone right away and had let them know and they said that the second charge would be refunded and asked if I still wanted the glasses; I said yes and they said they would process the order. Okay, fine.
Then, about 10 days later, I decided to check the progress of my glasses - I got the standard shipping; ORDER CANCELLED. However, they held on to my money, so I tried to call and got their voicemail. I left my name, number and asked for a call back asap. 3 days later and still no answer or returned call. THREE DAYS. I sent an e-mail asking them why my order was cancelled and then sent back an automated response that had NOTHING to do with my original question.
2 weeks later and still no glasses, no communications and my order still says it was cancelled. Still, I can not get through to ANYONE.
3 weeks later and someone finally answers. I tell them my problem and they tell me they're going to straighten it out and send my glasses as soon as possible.
4 weeks later and I get a phone call stating that my order has been "on hold" for about a month now, "do you still want the glasses?" YES. JUST SEND THEM TO ME ALREADY. However, since you continue to screw up, I want my shipping upgraded at no charge to me. "Oh of course! No problem!"
FINALLY, my glasses were being processed and shipped over a month after my order was originally placed. Did they apologize for anything? No. Do they give a crap at ALL about their customers? NO.
I will NEVER order from this place EVER AGAIN nor will I recommend them to ANYONE I know!"

They cost as low as 79.7 dollars containing $10 expedited shipping cost because there was the campaign Buy One Get One free. They came several days after I placed the order.
I was amazed when I received them. The glasses are beyond what I paid. Both of them are in high quality, and their prescription is exactly what my need. They fit me well. I had one pair tinted with gradient grey color so I can wear them as sunglasses. The processing takes a bit long time, but they deserve it.

One little problem I had the decoration from one side on the front of the frame probably fell off. "Do not purchase from this company. My glasses came with the wrong prescription on the upper half of the bifocal. The lenses were excellent quality but wrong prescription above the segment height. I had this verified by an optical & informed glassesshop of the issue. They insisted that there was no problem & said they would only give 50% of my money back. Their website says that they will refund 100% if the glasses were wrong as long as you contact them within 5 days & I contacted them within 4 days but they refused to refund 100% & by the time they gave me return info it was 6 days after receiving them.
No matter what happens you will only get 50% of your money back so BUYER BEWARE.

Glassesshop replied That if I send a photo they would issue a full refund. Well I did send 2 photos ia previous emails but It did not seem to help & i no longer have the glasses as I returned them.

Glassesshop did finally refund the rest of my money after I sent a photograph of my prescription. So if you order from them & the glasses come wrong be persistent & check sites like this."

"DO NOT BUY YOUR GLASSES FROM THIS PLACE. First it takes 2 weeks to get them as they are made and shipped from China. You do not find this out until you are forced to contact them to inquire when your glasses will arrive. Second the Customer Service is well there isn't one. You call a phone number that you always have to leave a message at. Then they call you back. If you miss the call it is almost impossible to reconnect with them. I have bought glasses online before and this is the worst company I have ever done business with. My glasses are loose and they want me to send them a picture depicting that so they can determine if there is something wrong with it. That is a little hard to do to depict looseness in the setting of a lense with a photo. The frames are short by about a 1/2 inch.
In reply to their offer to check my glasses out if shipped back. I replied to them but they will not send a postage paid to get it there. I must pay the postage and they decide if the glasses need to be replaced or fixed. I have bought from another online company before and never had had this type of incompetence. I truely think their CS is handled in east Asia as it takes them several days to reply to inqwuiries and they all come to me Sunday Morning but show Monday. Interesting. "
