"There is a reason why all Global Media pro's reviews are either 1 star or 5 star. Global Media Pro describes their service as being like a vending machine. You put your money in and get the product out. When all goes well it works efficiently and smoothly. But imagine what happens when it doesn't. You're at a deserted railway station late at night and fancy a bar of chocolate. You put your money into the machine, the mechanism whirrs and ........... nothing.
You look in vain for a station attendant. You phone the number on the side of the machine - there's no answer and it disconnects. You shake the machine. You kick the machine. You swear and shout, but to no avail - there is simply no-one who cares.
Then, suddenly, without warning the bar of chocolate drops into the tray - Hurray! You rush to unwrap it, but to your dismay you find it's inedible. Out of date, covered in mould and mangled.
There's absolutely nothing whatever you can do about it.
Right - you've only lost £1, but I ordered a device from GM pro that cost me £361. Delivery was promised in 4-5 days but it took 2 weeks and I missed the deadline I needed it for. Then days after it arrived I got an entirely unexpected Duty Tax demand from Fedex for £95.
My device is faulty. Global Media Pro doesn't respond to messages or answer its own phone line. The company who sent the device is based in HongKong. They don't answer their phone either and their e-mail address is undeliverable.
Essentially I am standing in a deserted railway station shouting into the emptiness and there is NO-ONE to hear me and no-one who gives a damn.
Nothing whatever in the world would ever induce me to use Global Media Pro ever again. I have lost £456 as surely as if I had thrown the money down the drain. Buyer beware. Do not use these people.
And, on top of that, I found the same product from a reputable UK site at less than what I had paid originally, and was forced to buy it as I need it desperately to finish a project."

"First of all, do not buy from here unless you absolutely, for whatever reason, have no other option. Their prices are DECENT, but, when you add the insane shipping prices and costs to transfer money to them, any savings you might of had go out the window. There are OTHER, LOCAL stores that sell stuff the same quality or better at basically the same prices, without the hassle.
Terrible customer service and unreliable shipping.
They care more about taking your money on a first and only order than they do about return business. The 2-3 day shipment times to US that they list on their site seem to be for ONLY certain items which they don't specify. The only way they allow you to contact them is through a "contact us" form on their website, which does not send you a copy after you submit the form, meaning they can flat out lie and say you never contacted them needing any assistance if it benefits them to do so.
First off, if you are in the US you need to wire them money to make an order. I wish I would have taken this as the red flag it apparently was. This costs you an extra $100 from your bank to even pay them. Secondly, the shipping prices are ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Unfortunately I did not notice the $500 (another serious red flag) shipping bill until after I paid as I was in a hurry when I ordered my items, and GMP seemed to have good prices and be a one-stop shop.
I ordered 2 monitors, 2 batteries, and a charger. As they seem to drop-ship a lot of their goods, the order was split in two. About two days after they received the payment, It was still listed as not being shipped. I requested a change to my order, they responded saying the monitors only had already been shipped. The monitors arrived on a timely matter and though I have not done any extensive testing, seem as advertised.
The batteries and charger, for whatever reason, had a 7 day shipping delay on them. I contacted them letting them know that this was unacceptable to me, as I was leaving the country, and it was too late for it to be of use to me. I told them if I could not get them by the 21st of October to cancel my order. They never responded. Next thing I know, I leave the country on the 22nd as planned, check my GMP account the moment I wake up the next day, and they shipped the items anyway. When I asked them why they did not ever respond to me, or fulfill my request, they stated, "sorry, we cannot refund already shipped items, we never received your email." Blatant and absolute lie. They had my money and they wanted to keep it. They did not care about what trouble it may have caused me, and how bad their unreliable shipping times actually screwed me over. They do not care about return business, as long as you give them your money, they are willing to lie and do whatever it takes to keep it. Terrible business practices, please don't buy here, save yourself the headache. There are LOTS of better options out there. Sadly, lesson learned for me."

I send more then 10 mails regarding the problem with Macedonia customs, during the import of Globalmediapro products. The company send the shipment without CE certificate and without original invoice, as I asked. Without that documents it is not possible to pass import procedure here in Macedonia. I plan to contact the Organization for customer rights....to find out how can I complain for their service. Of course I will try to aware other buyers to avoid this company, because of unprofessional service.
The shipment is still stuck in Macedonia import procedure because of the lack of Document.

My story is a bit long but please do read it before you place any order.
I made an order of a camcorder on the 7th of May, it was supposed to be in stock the delivery was supposed to be made 3-4 days after the payment was done, they were very cooperative till they received the money, that's the 9th of May. I had made myself very clear that i need the package before the 14th of May but i got no reply on that until i sent them a mail because they had not yet shipped the package, that was on the 14th and the irony was that they said "We apologize for the delay caused by the long May public holidays. We expect that the order will ship this week." well i never heard of the May vacation going till the 14th of it, not to mention that such delay should have been posted on the website before taking orders from people.
I had to wait, then the next week, the package was still not shipped, so i sent them a mail telling that i will need to cancel the order, i sent the mail on the 22nd of May and they replied on the 23rd asking for my bank account details, i sent them the details and waited.
Then comes the big splash, on the 31st of May, i accidentally refresh the order processing page and i find out that the camera was shipped on the 30th and i wasn't even notified so i sent them a mail about it. An hour later i get a notification that my package was dispatched and that they can't refund a shipped order.
The camera got to the destination 3 weeks late, i had already bought the same camera from another place, and because of their incompetence i lost more than $5000 because i had to rent cameras to finish my work and meet my dead lines.
Way to go Globalmediapro, you are by far my worst online shopping experience ever, there really should be a NO STARS option for evaluating such service.
As for the reply the company had posted, well, as the Globalmediapro representative claims is true, they did notify me about the vacation, but that was on the 14th of May, 5 days after i had made the payment and after i had contacted them asking about the delay. I have had experience with respectful companies like B&H, they post the delay and the time on their homepage, plus, when a client makes an order, they notify him before he pays, they do not wait till they are late to deliver to say "we apologise, we were on vacation", from another angle, even after they replied and notified me about the vacation, i gave them till the 22nd, more than a week and still the package was not sent, still May vacation?????
Now as for the refund, to start with, i sent an e-mail asking to cancel my order and for refund, then on the 25th i sent them my bank details (the only mail they didn't receive, what and irony, and right after they read my post, they asked me about them mail. Guys, i'm not stupid you know, how come this is the only e-mail that didn't get to your inbox? Oh and by the way, since we send you mails through you web wizard, it's not possible to have a copy of that mail to prove it was sent, so asking about it is not very reasonable).
Still talking about the order cancelling, far as i know, when a client cancels an order and doesn't give details for his account, you do not ship it without contacting him, usually you try to remind him that he has an unfinished business before sending him his cancelled order. Not to mention that the shipment was sent and you did not notify me before i saw the status online.
As for your refund proposal, i am willing to send the package back and i want refund, but i am not paying a single penny, i already paid the shipping and taxes i wasn't supposed to pay, plus, after waiting for the shipment for almost a month to be shipped, i don't trust you anymore, so if you are willing to prove your service is good and that it was all an honest mistake, you will need to pay all the package returning fees in addition to what i had paid you, and you will have to send me the money before i send the package, for as i had mentioned before, I DO NOT TRUST YOU."
